BORN OF STEEL, fire, and black wind, J.V. Hilliard was raised as a highlander in the foothills of a once-great mountain chain on the confluence of the three mighty rivers that forged his realm’s wealth and power for generations. His father, a peasant twerg, toiled away in industries of honest labor and instilled in him a work ethic that would shape his destiny. His mother, a local healer, cared for his elders and his warrior uncle, who helped to raise him during his formative years. His genius brother, whose wizardly prowess allowed him to master the art of the abacus and his own quill, trained with him for battles on fields of green and sheets of ice. Hilliard’s earliest education took place in his warrior uncle’s tower, where he learned his first words. HIs uncle helped him to learn the basics of life—and, most importantly, creative writing. Hilliard’s training and education readied him to lift a quill that would scribe the tale of the realm of Warminster, filled with brave knights, harrowing adventure and legendary struggles. He lives in the city of silver cups, hypocycloids and golden triangles with his wife, a ranger of the diamond. They built their castle not far into the countryside, guarded by his own two horsehounds, Thor and MacLeod, and resides there to this day.

In a perfect world, the heroes would have the time to do everything they need to do -  time to care for their loved ones, time to grieve for those they have lost, time to take care of the threat to the safety of the world and those that live in it.

Unfortunately, Theros is not a perfect world.

So it is that on the next morning after the funeral of Fury Squadron, the group parts ways, with Priam and Toragone taking Hippolyta back to Akros, while the rest of the crew soldiers on towards the titan - and, perhaps, the monster that slaughtered Eva's old squad. But the deeper they go into Phoberos, the more dangerous the land seems to become, and one member of the party in particular will have to face the danger they themselves pose while traversing this hostile territory. The journey of trying to make a video game is an intense, arduous quest, often paralleling the perils of the games that inspired it. It requires an inquisitive mind, futuristic wisdom, a ton of loot, and a badass party, each bringing their own special abilities to help transform a dream into reality. 

Your spawn point might also be nowhere near any of the aforementioned resources, so how does one find their fellow visionary adventurers and the funding to forge the functionalities and fables to enrapture gamers around the world... and, you know, pay rent??? 

Enter Brooklyn-Based VoxPop, a distribution platform and middleware toolset that helps every role in indie game development find projects and strong collaborative fits while ensuring all involved receive an equitable payout from the endeavor.

Through VoxPop’s core model, creators can pay collaborators (programmers, artists, community managers, etc.) with a percentage of their game's earnings. Whenever the game gets released, everyone will get paid in dividends after each sale. This allows devs to jumpstart their build even if they don’t have access to initial capital.
