I began my career in 2007 during a cold wintery January in Salt Lake City, Utah. I've flourished at 2 regional airlines and now I am at the majors. My career took off like a rocket andĀ continues to thrive, even today. Within the airline I have fulfilled roles as a UnionĀ Steward, Reports Analyst, Program Interface Specialists, and Instructor. IĀ believeĀ connectivity is the most effective way to uplift my community, break barriers, andĀ contributeĀ to the elevation of our socioeconomic status. How to become a Flight Attendant - Regional
Season 1 Ā· Episode 1
Sunday, March 1, 2020 ⢠Duration 07:54
Welcome to Airplanes and Afros. In todays episode we will discuss the aviation sector: CommercialĀ (regional). Commercial (regional) means that you will work for a privately owned company that has contracted flying with a mainline carrier such as United, Delta, and/orĀ American. The contract is restricted to US territories as well as Canada and Mexico. These are companies like Republic, Skywest, Compass, American Eagle, GoJets, etc..Ā You will work alone or with 1 other flight attendant.Ā YouĀ will be on reserveĀ anywhere fromĀ 1 month toĀ 5 years.Ā Your aircraft(s) will seat 19-99 passengers. The down side is the pay is a bit less than a mainline carrier. The upside is youāll serve less time on reserve. Just like mainline, youāll also have full benefits for you, your family, and friends.
