The 'War on Terror' has evolved over the past two decades and the securitization of the Muslim community continues unabated. Dr. Younis unpacks these questions and more.

Dr. Tarek Younis is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Middlesex University. He researches and writes on Islamophobia, racism in mental health, the securitization of clinical settings, and the politics of psychology. He teaches on the impact of culture, religion, globalization, and security policies on mental health.

Dr. Quick also gives his opinion on the top 5 most important Islamic personalities every Muslim should know (excluding the Prophet ﷺ, the Sahaba, and the Salaf)! 


Shaykh Abdullah is a historian and instructor at AlMaghrib Institute. He is the first American to graduate from Madinah University in 1979. He holds masters and Ph.D. degrees in African History from the University of Toronto.
