I try to introduce Salat in a most easy way and go through the wordings of the Prayer in order to enable even a first-timer to follow and learn.

Just decided to record myself while revising the Holy Quran. Due to that, it isn’t as slow as you’d probably expect it, and it has a few hitches here and there. The purpose is to put it here for whoever wants to have a peak into how Huffaz revise their Holy Qur’an. Say a prayer for me if you chance upon it. In future, fitting recitation for the public would be made In Shaa Allah.

Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad (rh), the 4th successor of the Promised Messiah (as) delivered a lecture on February 24, 1990 at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London. The lecture, with the above title, was later published in 1992. The central theme of the lecture is peace in this world. In the world which suffers today from violence, bloodshed, conflict, wars, violation of Human Rights, socio-economic exploitation of the third World and everything which violates peace and creates discord, we need peace more than anything else. He talked about (i) Inter-religious peace and harmony (ii) Social peace, in general (iii) Socio-economic peace (iv) Economic peace (v) Peace in national and international politics and (vi) Individual peace.

This is an English rendering of a speech delivered by Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih II during the Annual Conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on December 28, 1916 and reprinted in Urdu as Zikri-Ilahi by the Fazl-e-Umar Foundation (Rabwah, December 1982). Zikri-Ilahi shows a true understanding of the relationship between Allah, the Creator, and human beings in their search of Him. It is replete with points of wisdom on how that relationship can be nurtured through Zikri-Ilahi — Remembrance of Allah.
