We soon discerned that this venture would stretch beyond a mere week, and thus we find ourselves adrift in endless musings, encircled by the echoes of time. Good, the sun thought to itself, people seem pleased and are making merry; all is well with the world. Then, upon the horizon, it saw the coming of the Tragedy of Geeks and realised that they had come to force themselves in amidst the festivities for good or for ill. The sun decided that it had seen enough and buggered off so as not to have to listen to nonsense on a day such as this. Because it had left there was no day. So there.

Last week we released a POD recounting our time at Cheltenham where we attended the Fantasy Forest, specifically as part of the brand new Post Apoc section, “The Wastes”. Not long ago we made the journey to Cheltenham to attend the Fantasy Forest, specifically as part of the brand new Post Apoc section, “The Wastes”. Needless to say: We had a LOT of fun; so much so in fact that when we got back we spent several hours, accidentally, shooting the breeze about how incredible our experiences were. Whilst we were there we also managed to record a pod in front of a small audience and scoop up a whole host of special guests who recorded some short interviews.

This episode, Wandering the Wastes, covers the first half of the big pod that we did when we got back and an interview with the wonderful Natasha Achilleos whose husband was the legendary painter and illustrator Chris Achilleos. His work includes book covers and series for Dr Who and Star Trek, concept art for Willow, cover art for Whitesnake and, of course, the Fighting Fantasy series of works.
