Allure is an American New York-based R&B girl group that formed in the 1990's. Allure is best known for their hit single "All Cried Out" with 112, which reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group's members are comprised of Alia Davis, Lalisha Sanders, & Akissa Mendez.

Doug is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Huddle Up Academy. A native of New Haven, CT, Doug attended Hopkins School, where he played football and basketball for four years. He earned All-New England Class C honors in football and received the prestigious Charles Dorrance Award, the school's highest athletic honor. After one year at Union College, Doug transferred to the University of Connecticut, where he played football and earned a spot on the 2022 AAC All-Academic Team. He was also a runner-up for the 2022 UConn Male Community Outreach Athlete of the Year award.

Meet Bronx-native and rising star, Silva Reign, a talented singer-songwriter who’s taking the music scene by storm with her powerful vocals and dynamic range. Inspired by the likes of Alicia Keys and Beyoncé, Silva has been honing her craft since she was a young girl.

Chris is a worship leader by day and a drag queen by night. He grew up singing in the church because his mom was a Pentecostal preacher, but being gay, he never quite felt he could express his true self until he discovered drag. His drag persona is a gorgeous sassy woman named Nedra Belle. He performs weekly at the West End Lounge, hosting and singing live. Two years ago he had the opportunity to sing for Jennifer Hudson at a party for her Broadway show "The Color Purple," and she threw a shoe at him, which coming from their church background is the ultimate compliment.

The poet has been the library tech coordinator at St. Mark the Evangelist School on 138th Street since 2002, and released his second self-published poetry book, “Honey in Harlem,” earlier this year, but his words have been displayed in Harlem establishments like Revolution Books, Lenox Coffee and Red Rooster for years.

David is very much a part of this New Harlem Renaissance, and his thoughtful poetry captures that elegantly,” Marcus Samuelsson, Red Rooster’s co-creator and chef has said. “His love of this community and teaching is evident as well as his passion for poetry and artistry.”

Mark first picked up a guitar to play a song for my wife on our anniversary. That’s when I discovered the joy of connecting with people through music. My sound is rock with a positive vibe and my biggest influences are John Mayer, Tom Petty, and Jason Mraz. My music starts from a place of poetry and creative inspiration, and I use my “rocket-scientist brain” to find structures that help me explore that initial burst of inspiration and feeling – like writing haikus, my favorite!
