Today we're sitting down to catch up with or good friend Jace of The Fast Life Garage and Fast Life Podcast! Jace is a custom painter & airbrush artist, photographer, rider, and traveler and we've even gotten to take a few trips with him!
ABOUT THE FAST LIFE GARAGE The Fast Life Garage started in January 2015, and has evolved from a motorcycle customizing / painting business to more of a life style Brand. I Jace Hudson) branched off into podcasts (January 2018) and I mainly paint helmets these days and a select few bikes. I try and put as many miles down on my bike every year to help generate experiences and content for our podcast and sponsors. Since 2018 we have hosted a hand full of event from The Fast Life Campout too The Fast Life Hood Ride. Today we have the opportunity to talk life, culture, and adventure with Eugene aka Gene BraveRock. We just returned from an incredible motorcycle trip to Monument Valley in the Navajo nation and after immersing ourselves in the culture, Gene sounded like another great person to learn from and share his story!
Gene is an actor and stuntman from the Blood Tribe of Siksikasiitapiisahkoi, or Blackfoot Country. He started as an actor before being trained as a stuntman and later appeared in various television roles before landing his first major film role as Chief in Wonder Woman.
Gene also founded the Oki Language Project which aims to create thriving and proud Indigenous communities for future generations by focusing on our history, language and culture.
"Our goal is to document and preserve the greetings and invaluable stories of elders within indigenous communities across America while paying respectful homage with protocol to the elders and land we traverse. This journey is undertaken with the dual purpose of safeguarding cultural heritage and acknowledging the territories we visit."

ABOUT EMILIO Emilio Rivera is an American actor and comedian, best known for his roles in crime dramas and action films. Born on February 24, 1961, in San Antonio, Texas, and raised in Los Angeles, California, Rivera has built a career playing tough and intimidating characters, often portraying gang leaders, law enforcement officers, or enforcers.
He gained widespread recognition for his role as Marcus Álvarez, the leader of the Mayans Motorcycle Club, in Sons of Anarchy (2008–2014) and its spin-off Mayans M.C. (2018–2023). Rivera has also appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including Con Air (1997), Collateral (2004), High Crimes (2002), Z Nation, and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006).
Beyond acting, he has been open about his past struggles and uses his platform to inspire others. His performances, often rooted in authenticity and intensity, have made him a respected figure in Hollywood.

ABOUT BRIAN BOWEN SMITH Born and raised in New York, Brian became a professional photographer by a less than traditional route. After catching the eye of Herb Ritts while performing as a pro athlete in a print campaign, the legendary photographer became a friend and mentor, helping Brian to find his personal photographic style. Brian has been working steadily ever since, shooting for countless publications and commercial clients, as well as publishing two books and focusing heavily on his fine art photography. When Brian's not shooting, you will find him surfing, snowboarding or riding his motorcycle.

"It was merely a move to Utah for the love of skiing that unfolded a life of adventure and exploration for Kalen Thorien. From the glaciers of Greenland to the depths of the Grand Canyon, her journey thus far has reached wild and remote places. As a four-season athlete, motorcyclist, writer, and photographer, Kalen has shaped a world for herself that allows her to pursue her dreams.
It started with a love for snow and lead to an obsession for the outdoors.
At 18, Kalen Thorien moved to Alta, Utah to pursue skiing. With only two years under her belt, the idea of becoming professional never crossed her mind. But passion drives ability and within a few seasons Kalen broke in to the ski industry and became a sponsored athlete. She didn't stop there. Her love for the outdoors evolved her into an explorer, pursuing adventure in all forms from, backpacking to canyoneering, packrafting, and more. She signed with Salomon in 2015 as a four-season athlete and since then has teamed with Backcountry.com, Pit Viper, Smartwool, and more to continue pursuing one journey after the other.
At 24, Kalen purchased her first camera, packed up her life, and hit the road. Being an avid solo traveler, she wanted to document her adventures to share with her followers and inspire others to get outside. Her ability to create content that was authentic, current, and unique landed her a large social audience, with almost 140,000 followers on Instagram as well as articles with National Geographic Adventure, Outside Magazine, Conde Naste Traveler, Iron and Air, and more. Michael Irby is an American actor and producer. He is most known for his portrayal of Charles Grey on The Unit (2006-2009). Other credits include HBO's Barry (2108), Seal Team (2017) True Detective (2015), Almost Human (2014), Law Abiding Citizen (2009), Flightplan (2005), and Fast Five (2011). He will next be seen in the SOA spin-off, MayansMC.
We’re looking forward to hearing about his life and how his time spent on motorcycles for his role in Mayans M.C. shaped his perspective on the culture.

At a recent even, we crossed paths with Jaime Puerta and heard his heart-wrenching story of losing his son Daniel Puerta-Johnson to fentanyl and how it has led him to create the 501(c)(3) non-profit Victims of Illicit Drugs (VOID).
ABOUT VOID VOID was formed to bring to the public’s attention, through education, awareness and legislative advocacy, the immediate danger of sudden death associated with the use of illicit drugs, in particular FENTANYL, and other emerging synthetic analogs. This will be accomplished through the creation of a network of private, state and national governmental organizations, working together, to provide knowledge, preventive tools, and proposed legislation necessary to reduce the number of deaths occurring through this ever-increasing scourge confronting our society. We will speak on behalf of our loved ones, who can no longer speak for themselves.
Another story from a fellow rider that we thought would help many, and if it saves even just one person from experiencing what his family has, then mission accomplished.

He is also the Chairman & Founder of the LOVE RIDE® FOUNDATION which has raised over 25 million during its 32 years of the Love Ride® Annual Events for some great causes and charities alike.

Specializing primarily in the motorcycle industry - Becky is a full-time journalist, content producer, event producer, brand ambassador, on-screen motorcyclist, entrepreneur, emcee, bike builder, and beyond.
Beckys experience has lead her to be featured on the cover of 5 magazines & published in over 30 publications including Marie Claire, VICE, EasyRiders, and HOG Magazine, appear in numerous television shows including CW's Riverdale and AMC's RIDE with Norman Reedus, appear in numerous music videos, and has taken her around the world to shoot brand campaigns in Europe, Mexico, Japan and more.
Becky is the first woman to complete a motorcycle as an Invited Builder for Born Free Show. Her bikes are available to be rented for shoots. Becky has 6 bikes available including a 1948 Harley Davidson Panhead Show Bike and the Harley Davidson Sportster used for Beyonce's Feature in British Vogue June 2022.

After this week's drop, sharing the story of El Dog and the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club, we figured it would be great to have some guests on the show from the riding club to share their stories and experiences from their years in the area.
Tune in to hear Darrin Ferrell and Lee Cannady talk about how the club has changed their lives and many others' for the better.
Darrin is the Vice President of FSURC and the son of the founder, Ellis "Eldog" Ferrell. Darrin has no recollection of when his dad first put him on a horse, but he remembers riding independently at the age of 5 years old. Darrin tends to all the daily needs of the horses, youth, and the maintenance of the stables. He's a skilled carpenter by trade in South Philly and hand-built all the stalls and the tack room at the stables with donated wood. He's affectionately known as "Unc" or Uncle D to the kids. Darrin and his dad are the two constant male figures to the youth at FSURC. Darrin's love for horses and kids creates a happy and nurturing environment at FSURC, where his passion and dedication truly shines. Darrin hopes to take over his dad's reigns and preserve his legacy.

In this episode, we have the one and Only Karen Davidson in the house to share some incredible history and insight from her years of work and family involvement with the Motor Company.
Karen is the great-granddaughter of HD co-founder, William A. Davidson and the daughter of Willie G. Davidson.
She began a free-lance leather design business in 1985 and joined HD in 1989. The company created a new, branded line of apparel and accessories for its customers at that time – MotorClothes. She was involved in most everything from creative direction of the leather collections to design of diamond rings.

This week, we've got the one and only Jame Camil in studio to talk bikes and life and to hear some stories about his acting career and the relationships built along the way.
We recently crossed paths with Jaime when he came to the shop to get his new Low Rider ST set up the right way and thought he would be an amazing guest to have on the show, given all of his travels and his passion for motorcycle culture! Jaime's been riding for years and has spent time on all kinds of bikes!
Jaime is a Mexican actor, singer and television personality and is best known for his roles as Fernando Mendiola in La Fea Más Bella and Rogelio de la Vega in Jane the Virgin, the latter of which brought him two nominations for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
He has starred i many television and movie roles over the years and is well known for his career in Telenovelas. He even sang the national anthem for the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix NASCAR race!

"As the owner of Screamin Eagles Operations, Thompson and his staff of 12 clean up illegal dumping and abandoned encampment sites around Compton. In business since 2014, the firm also performs building and parking lot maintenance, graffiti removal, freight hauling and demolition work.
His volunteer activities include partnering with a local Harley-Davidson dealer to present free workshops for youth to learn about motorcycle riding, care and upkeep. He also holds sessions to train young people about heavy-duty truck operations. Every class highlights the potential careers within each field."

Best known for playing the lead role of Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes in the television series Mayans M.C. and a young Jack Toretto in Fast 9, JD has lived some incredible experiences over the years and we’re looking forward to hearing all about them.
"Jorge Daniel Pardo is an American actor. He is best known for playing Jack Toretto in F9 (2021), as well as the lead role of Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes in the television series Mayans M.C. (2018). Pardo was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California, his father is from Argentina and his mother from El Salvador JD also played "Nate"/Jason in the NBC sci-fi series Revolution, co-starring Billy Burke.
Previously he was best known for his role as Edward Araujo Jr./Gwen Amber Rose Araujo in the Lifetime Network movie called A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story. Pardo also had roles on FOX's Drive and The CW's Hidden Palms. Both series were canceled after their respective first seasons. Pardo played Young Santiago in the film The Burning Plain (2008) starring opposite Jennifer Lawrence with Charlize Theron and Kim Basinger. JD played the half-vampire Nahuel in the second half of Breaking Dawn, and a member of a drug cartel in Snitch. This week, we have Lorna, Tarah, and Lisa who are co-founders and board members of the Medicine Wheel Ride which offers grants to fund culturally based individuals, groups, programs, and organizations working to provide resources and support to Indigenous women and their families.
The Medicine Wheel Ride also offers grants to provide funds to Indigenous individuals, groups and organizations working on MMIW issues in the areas of search, recovery, prevention, and protection.

Jace branched off into podcasts (January 2018) and mainly paints helmets these days and a select few bikes. He covers some serious miles on his bike every year to help generate experiences and content for his podcast and sponsors and has become a great friend along the way. Since 2018 he has hosted a hand full of events from The Fast Life Campout to The Fast Life Hood Ride and has some big plans for the future of his brand.
