Beware of Dog (May 26, 1996)
Episode 43
mardi 1 juin 2021 • Duration 02:25:03
Today we crack open the 20x20 RWD Time Capsule dated May 26, 1996 - the day that WWF presented In Your House: Beware of Dog. We were driving to the Florence Civic Center from the airport on that stormy Memorial Day weekend, recording the whole time, knowing that in 25+ years, we would be listening to these tapes and recalling the fond memories of the weekend. Don't worry - Peter and Chris don't only talk about the wrestling event of the evening; we dive into sports, music, movies and general pop culture of May 1996. Specific topics include: Michigan football, Jordan vs the Magic in the NBA Playoffs, FOX's Glowing Puck, singing bad tunes in the car, diet chips, the worst UFC fight in history, Stranglemania, mad cow disease, and Susan's last episode on Seinfeld. No special guests this month. The 20x20 Rewind is sponsored by Wrestling Travel. In the best of times, WT helps you travel across the globe to your favorite wrestling event without a worry or hassle. In these times, they provide us with the key to travel backwards in time to relive the memories of your favorite events of the past. Music by Steve O, one-half of the Inverted Rolling Thunder Driver.

"Fly on the Wall" Pre-HOF2020 (BONUS)
Episode 33
mardi 19 mai 2020 • Duration 56:44
We are back with a very special episode this week. How is it special? There's no topic! Not that we stick to topics anyways. If you recall from our last episode, we mentioned that before the record button got pressed, we had been talking for about an hour. Well, the record button was on and when we listened back, it wasn't half bad. So we give you that raw conversation here as a little bonus; a little glimpse into Chris, Peter and Aaron just hanging out and talking about whatever. So enjoy being a fly on the wall for this largely-unedited episode. No filters, no fluff, just talk. Maybe some edits to protect the innocent.
If we had a topic, we would veer off of it. This week we talk about things like: new and old WWF Superstar ice cream bars; navigating The Network for the perfect Coliseum Video to watch; the backstory of Jim Cornette vs Santino Marella and Rex's part in their history; preparing for our HOF episode; barbed wire matches; ebay alerts; Dark Side of the Ring, and much more.

(Our version of) The 2020 Hall of Fame Class
Episode 32
mardi 12 mai 2020 • Duration 02:00:26
Still under quarantine, still safe and still living by the #stayhomewatchwrestling motto. This week, Peter, Chris and Cousin Aaron bring back the old favorite - our 2020 Hall of Fame class. The rules are simple - don't pick anyone who is already in the WWE HOF and don't pick someone you have picked in previous years. Sounds good? Let's go!
Don't worry, we veer off-topic just like always. Other things we touch on include: watching live music during the pandemic; weird scenes from Boardwalk Empire; 1998 Nitro recaps; a round of "Whats Your Era" featuring the Steiner Brothers; the Motor City Casino Soundboard; Lemmy; ECW; debating Daniel Bryan's place in history; still arguing about the Theme Song Tournament, shop talk about future releases and much more.
Go to 20x20Apparel right now and get the #StayHomeWatchWrestling shirt. All profits will go right to No Kid Hungry. Stay home, be sports entertained, enjoy a cool new shirt and help a great charity. Also check out the newest pin in the Pinfall series, available NOW for your purchase. It's cool, it's cocky, it's... bbbbbad.

Future Endeavored Fantasy Draft 2020
Episode 31
mardi 28 avril 2020 • Duration 01:23:40
We are staying home, staying safe and living by the #StayHomeWatchWrestling mantra. This week, Peter and Chris are joined by Jacob and Corktown's Illest, Cousin Aaron. Unfortunately, many WWE superstars and talents were laid off last week, so we fantasy book where we'd like to see all these men and women go. Will we send the Good Brothers to Impact? Will Hawkins and Ryder scratch that itch in New Japan? Will No Way Jose dance his way to HorrorSlam? We book the towns from here to there and everywhere.
You know we veer off-topic if that topic doesn't satisfy you. Other things we touch on include: Aaron's WM36 thoughts; what we can binge-watch next (Wresting Society X or 205 Live perhaps); non-political issues of the day; Nitros and War Games from 1998; HOF talk, learning Polish and much more.
You will also hear us brainstorming ideas for new shirts, one of which is already on pre-order. Go to 20x20Apparel right now and get the #StayHomeWatchWrestling shirt. All profit will go right to No Kid Hungry. Stay home, be sports entertained, enjoy a cool new shirt and help a great charity. Gregory Iron Interview
Episode 30
mardi 21 avril 2020 • Duration 01:25:49
We are still under quarantine, but the 20x20 continues to push forward. This week, Peter chats with our first two time (two time) guest, Gregory Iron. Greg is a lifelong wrestling fan, an independent wrestler and host of the Iron On Wrestling podcast, so you know that he has a million stories and ton of opinions that he is never shy to share with the world.
We try to take bits from his show and our show and make a cohesive conversation. Topics include: Bobby Shields; #icp4hof; Joey Janela; Dino Bravo's contribution to our childhoods; fixing yourself during the pandemic; wrestling twitter showing their chubs at night; FMK on Greg's favorite restaurants, the unfortunate releases by WWE this past week; Dennis Rodman in WCW; name-dropping all of Greg's friends like Johhny Gargano and Steve Austin, and much, much more.
Greg is all over social media. You can find him specifically on Twitter and Instagram. His podcast, Iron On Wrestling (which is on Apple, Spotify and all podcast platforms) can also be found on Twitter and IG. There is also a Patreon and a PWTees store, if you want to support the best of brothers.

Favorite Current Announcers (and more)
Episode 29
mercredi 1 avril 2020 • Duration 01:28:26
This week, Chris, Peter and Jacob are under quarantine! So this is the first remote-version of the podcast. Please excuse our dust as we make our way through this.
This week, we have a few topics. We cover the Madness Brackets over on the 20x20Apparel twitter, cataloging the best theme songs of all time. We also get into some WrestleMania predictions! And of course, we have a #fivecount, talking all about our favorite current announcers. Did we miss someone? Do you have a top five list? Find us on social media and use #fivecount, or drop us an email with your list or voice memo.
Don't worry, we don't just talk announcers and COVID-19. Other topics that interrupt our train of thought include: delayed ideas for the 20x20 web store, 1998 War Games, Tiger King and Joe Exotic, paranormal activity and much much more.

Bracketology 2020 - Best Theme Songs
Episode 28
mardi 10 mars 2020 • Duration 02:12:50
This week, Chris and Peter are joined by longtime friend Andrew, and we are discussing the Theme Song Madness Bracket [[Click here to see the PDF Version of the Brackets]]. If you follow 20x20 Apparel on Twitter, you will see our tournament of best wrestling theme songs, and this is your chance to vote for your favorites!
Andrew joins us to dissect the brackets, region by region, song by song, matchup by matchup... and by "dissect," we mean "hammer Chris for his picks. From Cobo Hall to the Sportatorium, we cover them all. It's Andrew's first time in the studio, so we spend a little time getting to know him, his background as a trained wrestler and as a fan, and we even dust off "Whats Your Era?".
Don't worry, we don't just talk Madness Brackets. Other topics that interrupt our train of thought include: how an entrance has an effect on a theme song's feeling, if classical songs make for better themes, the importance of Jim Johnston, the difference between a region and a quadrant, Nailz's place in WWE history, the road to Survivor Series 1992, an impromptu game of Name That Tune and much much more.
We will be appearing at Game Changer Wrestling on March 21, and Olde Wrestling (March 28) where 20x20 will be sponsoring the world title match of Matthew Cross vs Danhausen. Please see the websites and follow our socials for more details.

Astronomicon 3 Recap
Episode 27
mardi 25 février 2020 • Duration 01:40:01
This week, Chris, Peter and Jacob are back in the studio discussing the weekend at Astronomicon 3, Detroit's newest pop-culture convention that is out of this world! This was our third year there and of course we have stories. From no hot water in the hotel to drinking in the lobby with Brutus Beefcake; from the newest items for sale at the 20x20Apparel table to the items that we bought as we walked around the Con; from Alexa Bliss to the Plunger King and everyone in between - we've got you covered.
We also hosted both Juggalo and Wrestling trivia sessions, so we deep dive into those. You can play along at home, so you have an idea of our mindset when we make these questions. Next year, it could be you holding that gold, silver or bronze trophy. Or it can be you in the crowd getting yelled at by us.
We will be appearing at Game Changer Wrestling on March 21, and Olde Wrestling (March 28) where 20x20 will be sponsoring the main event of Matthew Cross vs Danhausen. Please see the websites and follow our socials for more details.
Scream Prints (art by Steve Jencks) was talked about on this episode and we didn't have the name handy. They can be found at www.screamprints.com. They are also on all social medias, so go follow them for your spooky art needs.

Royal Rumble Analytics
Episode 26
mercredi 22 janvier 2020 • Duration 02:41:50
Welcome to a special edition of the Pod. Peter is flying solo this week, but he has Randy Sobel on the horn to discuss.... a little bit of everything. Randy has created a spreadsheet [[Click here to see the PDF Version of the Rumble Analytics]] about the value of every wrestler who has ever been in a Royal Rumble. We like lists. We like Rumble Season! Seems like a perfect fit for the Pod.
Randy is the host of the Live of 4 Legs Podcast, which dives into all things Pearl Jam. And this week, they have an interview with WWE HOFer and Pearl Jam superfan, Edge! Go check them out wherever you find your podcasts... after you catch up on ours!
Don't worry, we don't just talk Rumble Analytics and Pearl Jam... although we do for a lot of this episode. Other topics that interrupt our train of thought include: corporate names of stadiums that we can't remember; New York sports; Jeopardy categories; Jonathan Coachman; rebooking past Rumbles; booking the 2020 Rumble; Crown Jewel; Juggalo culture, and much much more.
We will be appearing at Astronomicon 3 (February 7-9) with special guests Allysin Kay and Marti Belle, and Olde Wrestling (March 28). Please see the websites and follow our socials for more details.
Live On 4 Legs can be found on Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud... everywhere. Don't forget to find their Fan Profile Episode featuring Edge, aka Adam Copeland.
