Welp...we're back.

Look, we're not happy about this big delay either. We're so dang close and then our host has some real annoying issues.

Final Fantasy 7!!!

You know it? Yea, you know it. You love it? Maybe you do. It's here and we played it (a month ago and not anymore since then). Still though...here's the dang episode.

It's a good game by all metrics of a good game, and we can't begin to deny that. Some people love this game so much it's insane. It is good though so who are we to judge.

When you leave Columbus, OH on I-71 south heading to to Cincinnati there's a big sign. It proclaims in large font "HELL IS REAL"...the H is in red.

Some would say that sign is a warning. Other might say it's a reminder.

For The Unchained Predator, The Beast, Hellwalker, DOOM Marine, The Slayer....or as we all know him Doomguy...it's a happy reminder.

To keep in line with the frantic confusing nature of this game we also made one of our least comprehensive and most confusing episodes ever.

I mean what even are we talking about? Did we remember what game to play? It's really bad.

It's Goldeneye 007 for the N64.

This is a cultural icon, a benchmark in gaming, and a ton of nostalgic fun all rolled into a cool sexy spy action filled adventure.

It's one of THE greatest 2D side scrolling platformers ever made. 

Books have been written about this thing probably...not going to Google it.

Wazzzzzzup ya dinguses, 

We're back and we're worse than ever! 

You're in for a special treat this week listener. We have 3 games in 1 episode. This was definitely a special cool idea we came up with...not a weak attempt to make up for missing multiple weeks of hot podding...definitely not that. 

First up you get Sonic the Hedgehog 2. 

Opinions are mixed as we play this game. Is it too fast, are our feeble old brains unable to keep up with it, do hedgehogs have British accents? None of these questions are answered. Enjoy that. 

Next up on the list is Street Fighter 2! 

Whoa boy, it's like a switch flips in the vibes across the pod. From the dregs of Sonicmania to the absolute highs of punching and kicking and stuff. This game rocks. We gush all over the place and have a great time discussing the whole thing. What a game. Play it if you haven't. 

Then last but not least. Probably an absolute second place if we had to just rank the three games themselves. 

It's Super Mario Kart. 

Not a lot going on here...It's a very bare bones experience. But man oh man, are the bones awesome. You see how creative and fun Nintendo is able to make their games. 33 years later and the base idea is still awesome. 

Alright, we will return to our regular episodes next time around. Steve's fun facts, Super Bowl Winners, Metacritic scores *if available*, and all the other hits you've come to know and love.

This is definitely better than last weeks, but still not as good as the Brent episode. That was probably the peak of the podcast honestly.

Alright, so like... this is a game, and we played it. Is it a good game? We don't know. Is it a fun game? We don't know. Does deserve this spot on this list? You guessed it! We don't know.

You can't rush greatness is a famous saying. Well, you also can't rush a low tier podcast. We labored away for hour of time bringing you the most disjointed and confusing possible takes for this weeks episode.

Let me tell you h'what lisner' this game's so good you'd be better off just buying it and playing it yourself instead of listening to us discuss it.

I don't know what happened. Perhaps in the face of such an impossible achievement of a game we wilted and faded. That's actually what happened 100%.

Or maybe we're in the early stages of Cordyceps brain infection, and you're hearing a realtime descent into incomprehensible madness. Now that I'm thinking....that's 110% what happened, so it's not our fault.

In this episode we recap all the games we played and wax poetic about Christmas. It's a rip roaring heck of a season finale.

The Tsar Bomba (Russian: Царь-бомба, romanized: Tsar'-bomba, IPA: [t͡sarʲ ˈbombə], lit. 'Tsar bomb'; code name: Ivan[5] or Vanya), also known by the alphanumerical designation "AN602", was a thermonuclear aerial bomb, and the most powerful nuclear weapon ever created and tested.

You should look at a picture of the final fire ball and mushroom cloud of that thing. It's terrifying. We're talking third degree burns within 62 miles of the blast. The pilots had a 50% chance of not even escaping after dropping it.

Thankfully though listener...that didn't happen in any populous areas...for us. Not for the miserable inhabitants of todays game FALLOUT 3. They got completely BLASTED.

This game's so good that we did a terrible episode for some reason. Maybe just too excited about the whole thing to really break it all down.

I hope you still enjoy it though. It's one of the greatest games of all time.

First we float on up in Bubble Bobble and eat some food or something. I don't know... this game's odd. Kinda fun though. It has nothing to do with the pirate themed greeting you just received.

Then you're in for it listener! We sail right into the classic water of Monkey Island 2: LeChucks revenge. It's fun, it's pirating, it's puzzle filled, and maybe we get a plank and make ye walk it or something...I don't know.

Here come the Podboys, flipping right into your ear canals in their tightest short shorts, pistols blasting (not really, no weapons were blasted in the making of this podcast).

What's that? You have a "problem" with our shorts being so short? You think that's not appropriate to be wearing at Target on a Tuesday at 1:30p. Well we're doing adventures and we need these shorts for stunts and flips and sometimes things fall out of the bottom of the shorts. That's the price you pay for adventure... KAREN!

It's-a us. We're back and we're BLASTING off once again into space.

You may not know this, but space is fully of tiny tiny planets, and if you can stick your flag on one of em' you've got a whole little planet to live on for free. Seriously, this is a real thing, you just have to get out into space and you can live for free. Food and shelter and oxygen might be an issue, but if it's not that important for Mario then it shouldn't matter to you.

This game has it all! Drama, romance, romantic drama, Krogan, Geth, romance, smooching, smooching drama. It's a real attack on the senses,  but in a good and cool space way. 

Look listener, we do some spoiling...and...yea, this game's old, but just in case you haven't played it go ahead and avoid this episode. Then you can come back when you're done and REALLY hate our bad takes!

This ain't CIV 4 though listener. This is CIV 1. The first civilization. That's right. We have definitive proof of the first ever complex society...number 1...the first...  Göbekli Tepe? Ancient floods? Atlantis? No idea about those. This is an entirely different thing altogether. I won't elaborate. 

Not our best because once again we don't know what we're doing and struggled to wrap our tiny brains around this big brained game.

What's happening you stuck-up half-witted scruffy-looking nerf herders. 
You ever think about the Jedi's being the least effective leaders possible? They literally keep getting full on beaten into hiding by the Sith/Republic. Is the light side of the force just inherently incapable of any form of long standing peaceful government? Does it only have effectiveness as a rebelious foil to the true power of the galaxy?
