Why You Keep Repeating the Same Relationship Patterns (Even When You Know Better) with Sabrina Zohar
jeudi 15 octobre 2026 • Durée 56:43
-
Why do we keep repeating relationship patterns we know aren’t good for us?
In this episode, I sit down with Sabrina Zohar to talk about what’s actually happening underneath the people we chase, the relationships we struggle to let go of, and the dynamics we swear we’ll never repeat again.
We get into how childhood experiences create what Sabrina calls our “bullshit blueprint” — the subconscious programming that shapes what feels familiar, safe, and even attractive to us as adults.
We also discuss why understanding your patterns intellectually isn’t enough to change them, what it actually means to embody self-worth, and how to move from chasing and needing to be chosen to becoming the person who chooses.
In this episode, we cover:
- How childhood wounds shape the relationships you choose as an adult
- Sabrina’s “bullshit blueprint” and the subconscious programming running your love life
- Why your brain will always choose familiar over healthy until you rewire it
- The difference between knowing your worth and actually embodying it
- How to tell when you’re responding to the person in front of you versus something from your past
- Navigating anger, forgiveness, and holding compassion for yourself without excusing past behavior
- Why real healing requires repetition, not just intellectual understanding
- How to shift from chasing and being chosen to actively choosing your partner
- What healthy, regulated love actually feels like
- Why “I want you, but I don’t need you” is the ultimate power shift
If you’ve done a ton of work on yourself, understand your patterns, and still find yourself getting pulled back into the same dynamics, this conversation is for you.

Loving Potential vs. Loving Reality: How to Know When to Let Go
jeudi 8 octobre 2026 • Durée 26:51
In this episode, I’m diving into one of the hardest questions in relationships: when do you accept a relationship for what it is, and when is it time to let go?
It’s so easy to stay hooked on the memory of how things felt in the beginning or to keep waiting for someone to become the person you believe they could be. But at some point, you have to stop making decisions based on the past or the potential and look at what’s actually in front of you.
I share personal insights and some of the questions I use to help you see your relationship more clearly. We talk about why you need to stop diagnosing someone’s behavior, why potential can keep you stuck for years, and the one question that can change everything: If nothing changed, would I still choose this person?
Whether you’re trying to recover from a devastating breakup or sitting on the fence about your current relationship, this episode is about getting brutally honest with yourself, seeing the relationship for what it actually is, and deciding what you want to do from there.
🔑 Key Takeaways & Topics Covered
The Trap of Early Idealization: Why the beginning of a relationship isn’t always representative of the relationship you actually have.
Potential vs. Reality: How focusing on who someone could be keeps you attached to a fantasy instead of seeing who they are today.
The Question That Changes Everything: How asking “What if nothing changed?” can give you clarity when you don’t know whether to stay or let go.
Childhood Wounds & Attachment: How old patterns can distort what we perceive as love, acceptance, and safety.
Choosing Yourself: Stop putting all your energy into analyzing or fixing someone else and start paying attention to what you actually need.

The Real Reason You Fear Rejection (And How to End It)
jeudi 17 septembre 2026 • Durée 24:33
Is the fear of rejection secretly running your life? In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on rejection and exposing it for what it really is: a childhood "boogeyman" that only holds power because of the story we attach to it. Whether you're holding back in your career, walking on eggshells in relationships, or constantly doubting your self-worth, I want to give you a powerful shift in perspective to help you take your power back.
I share my own personal stories of overcoming rejection, the exact mental models I use to separate hard facts from emotional fiction, and actionable steps to build real resilience. We’ll break down why a simple "no" feels like a direct attack on your identity, how old wounds amplify modern fears, and how practicing true detachment allows you to take big risks without the fear of falling. It’s time to stop letting a fictional boogeyman cost you years of growth, happiness, and connection.
What We Cover:
- Why rejection is just a story you tell yourself—not a final verdict on your worth
- How old wounds trigger deep rejection sensitivity in your adult life
- The hidden cost of self-rejection in love, career, and personal growth
- Practical ways to practice detachment and separate facts from feelings
- How to stop fearing the "no" so you can finally move forward with trust

Grieving the Life You Thought You’d Have: How to Make Peace & Move Forward
jeudi 27 août 2026 • Durée 35:36
If your life doesn’t look the way you thought it would by now, how do you make peace with where you are without giving up on the life you still want?
In this episode, I’m talking about grieving the life you thought you’d have, feeling behind in life, and learning how to move forward when your life hasn’t gone according to plan. Maybe you thought you’d be married by now, have children, be further along in your career, have more financial security, or simply feel happier and more settled than you do.
This kind of grief is real. And often, the pain isn’t only about your current circumstances—it’s about the collapse of the future you imagined for yourself.
I talk about how to grieve that imagined life without getting stuck in it, let go of the timeline you thought you were supposed to follow, and separate what you can control from what you can’t. I also share practical tools for self-compassion, acceptance, detachment, and changing the way you speak to yourself when you feel like you’ve fallen behind.
Most importantly, I explain why accepting where you are doesn’t mean giving up. You can make peace with your life as it is today while still wanting more for your future.
Your current circumstances are not a verdict on your worth or a prediction of where your life will end up. You can hold your vision like a compass, not a deadline.
If you’ve been thinking, This isn’t where I thought I’d be by now, this episode is for you.

Two Things Can Be True at Once
jeudi 6 août 2026 • Durée 28:11
We want relationships to make sense: He either loved me or he didn’t. The chemistry was real or it was a lie. But the truth is rarely black and white.
In this episode, we’re diving into what it means to hold two truths at the same time—and why tolerating emotional complexity is the key to healing and moving on.
In this episode, we cover:
Why someone can genuinely like you and still not want a relationship.
High chemistry vs. real compatibility.
How a person can love you and still treat you poorly.
Why ghosting says more about their emotional capacity than your worth.
How to accept reality in its entirety so you can stop personalizing everything and make clearer decisions.
Sometimes the relationship mattered—and it still needed to end. Both can be true.

How to Emotionally Detach (Without Becoming Cold or Distant)
jeudi 16 juillet 2026 • Durée 23:12
What if detachment has nothing to do with becoming cold, distant, or pretending you don't care?
In this episode, I break down one of the most misunderstood concepts in relationships and personal growth: healthy detachment. So many people think detachment means shutting down your emotions or acting like someone doesn't matter. In reality, true detachment is about letting go of control, releasing the need to force outcomes, and learning to stay grounded even when your emotions are intense.
I'll show you why detachment actually allows you to love more deeply — not less — and how it helps you become calmer, more confident, and more emotionally resilient in every area of your life.
Whether you're struggling to move on after a breakup, feeling anxious in a relationship, or simply want more peace of mind, this episode will give you practical tools you can start using today.
In this episode, you'll learn:
- Why detachment is not coldness, avoidance, or emotional suppression
- The difference between caring deeply and becoming emotionally dependent
- How to feel your emotions without acting impulsively
- What healthy detachment looks like during conflict
- How to stop identifying with every emotion you experience
- Practical exercises to build emotional regulation and inner peace
If you've ever wondered how to let go without giving up, this episode is for you.
