Have you been busy ruminating over the past or worrying about the future? There is no better time than the present to reset yourself! You are invited, now, to calm your mind.

Today, many of us suffer from stress or anxiety which most often deprives us of the rest we innately need. When we hurry through life we lose the essence of harmony which is, of course, a balancing act between our 'doing' and our 'being'. By carving out time to practice stillness, we create a new way of being that allows us to become more intentional with our doing. When practicing Yoga Nidra, you can begin to relax the whole body, allowing for deep rest to take place. This rest then gives us the reset we all deeply need and replaces our regular programming with one that is better suited for our expansion and overall wellbeing.

This Yoga Nidra begins by replacing your limiting belief(s) with a sankalpa, a heart felt desire, intention, wish, or prayer. This sankalpa takes form as an ' I AM ' statement which is visited at the beginning and end of practice. Between those moments, you will release your senses and connect internally with your whole body, your breath, your emotional states, your creativity which then brings you to a space of awareness which connects you to your universal self. This is where patterns and habits can be released allowing for new and improved pathways to be created. The more you practice, the more you strengthen these pathways with your sankalpa. Greet each Nidra with curiosity and a knowing that every experience will be uniquely yours. It is truly and honour to share this practice.

~ Introduction to Yoga Nidra & Beyond ~

We are not immune from getting into uncomfortable or difficult situations and when we do, what happens? Do we re-act, diving back into repeated patterns? or do we respond from a place of grounded self awareness? Well, unfortunately, due to external factors, we can be programmed to live out a life that does not align with our deepest desires. Yoga Nidra, yogic sleep, allows us to slow down and strengthen our ability to observe our awareness. From there, we can begin to rewrite our programming in a way that is beneficial to our health, wellbeing and sense of self, offering an array of benefits which are transformative to our inner and outer world.

My passion for Yoga Nidra stems from the radical shift I have personally experienced from the practice. It is my heart felt desire to create a welcoming and accessible space for all to experience their own healing power. Yoga Nidra & Beyond will also include teachings that dive into the depths of our human conditioning and my wish is by sharing these insights, they serve as a reminder that you most certainly do have access to your limitless potential.

May you experience deep rest. May you experience radical self acceptance, and may you grow an unwavering appreciation for how far you have come. Thank you for being here.

I am sharing some important updates about our journey together on this channel.

As many of you know, my passion for Yoga Nidra extends beyond our practice sessions. It encompasses a deep commitment to exploring how these practices can profoundly affect our well-being, especially concerning the nervous system and how we process stress, anxiety and unresolved trauma. To honour this commitment and ensure the program is both impactful and informed, I have decided to take a short break from uploading new Yoga Nidra sessions.

This pause will allow me to focus on comprehensive research into the effects of the nervous system, serve our community better, and consider my own needs simultaneously. My aim is to return with insights that will further enrich our practices and enhance your journey toward peace and equanimity.

Rest assured, this is only a pause. I will return. During this period, I encourage you to revisit our existing sessions and continue your practice. Each session is designed to be revisited and can offer new insights and comforts each time.

Remember, Yoga Nidra is a journey of personal exploration and relaxation. Allow yourself to be guided by my voice as you release what no longer serves you and step into a space of serenity and freedom. This particular practice is dear to my heart. I hope that by connecting with the waves you can bring yourself to a place of ease where there are no expectations and only deeply restorative vibes. This particular nidra was inspired in Sayulita, Mexico. I am sending blessings to the land and to the people who have created such a loving space for me there.

Going to Mexico this month was the first true vacation I have had since surviving cancer. It was such a heart-opening experience. It reminded me so much of how to let go and let be. I still feel myself at the beach and although I know the present moment is all we have... there are times when the nostalgia of the ocean's salty breath and the sand between my toes feels more inspiring than the snow-capped mountains and the crisp late autumn air.

Anyway, I am not sure who even reads these descriptions but if you are reading this, thank you, and I hope that you discovered Complete Rest through this nidra practice as it brings me a sense of deep rest to have created it. These practices are always made with so much love and deep care. Your support is always appreciated as without it... I would not be able to make these practices.
