How We Can Raise Resilient Children
dimanche 1 septembre 2024 • Durée 36:12
Something they don’t tell you when you become a parent, is that you need a lot of resilience. And that you also need to learn how to teach your toddlers resilience too.
Hugh Van Cuylenburg began his career as a primary school teacher, and is now changing lives when it comes to teaching kids and adults about resilience, through The Resilience Project, a program that promotes mental health and resilience in schools and communities. Hugh is also one of the hosts of the hit podcast The Imperfects, a dad of three and a very wise guy. Which is why we asked him on Wiggle Talk, because today we really want to get into how we can help make our toddlers more resilient, and how we as parents can learn to be more resilient when we’re dealing with it all.

Does Music Help My Toddler Learn?
dimanche 25 août 2024 • Durée 40:55
In this episode of Wiggle Talk, Simon and Lachy are unpacking whether or not music can help your toddlers learn. And? It’s good news, because singing to your kids, playing songs to them and even rapping with them helps their brains develop. We’re joined by music educator and the founder of Musically Minded, Jocelyn Manzanarez who has some insights about how we can use music to make your parenting life a little easier. We’ll also be lifting the lid on how some of your favourite Wiggles songs (think Fruit Salad) were written.

dimanche 29 septembre 2024 • Durée 29:41
On this episode of Wiggle Talk, Simon, Lachy and Anthony take you behind the scenes of touring with The Wiggles, and what it ACTUALLY looks like when kids are involved. Back in the early years of The Wiggles, Anthony used to be away for months at a time, which was extremely hard on his wife and three children.
Today, Anthony gets candid with Lachy and Simon about some of his biggest regrets during those years. Plus, Lachy and Simon share how they deal with being away from their little ones (and why sometimes they choose to take them with them).
