Seven years after William Tyrrell disappeared, detectives told his foster mother they knew where he was. But they hadn’t found him. They were accusing her of concealing his body, an allegation she denied.
In the final installment of this series, we follow the investigation’s renewed focus on William’s foster mother, the secret recordings, the searches, and the legal battles that brought the police theory under scrutiny. We return to the morning William disappeared to examine what the evidence supports and the questions that remain unanswered.
We also return to the people whose lives have been shaped by William’s absence, including his sister, who told the inquest she wanted to become a detective so she could find her brother.
William Tyrrell was three years old when he disappeared on September 12, 2014, from his foster grandmother’s home on Benaroon Drive in Kendall, New South Wales, Australia. He would be 15 years old as of this episode’s release. William is white, with straight brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a large, dark freckle on the top of his head, approximately two inches behind his hairline. He was wearing a Spider-Man suit when he disappeared.
Anyone with information about William’s disappearance or whereabouts is urged to contact NSW Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 within Australia, or submit information through the NSW Crime Stoppers online reporting service.

Ariana Ptarcinski
Saison 2 · Épisode 292
mercredi 30 septembre 2026 • Durée 56:55
On Christmas Day in 2021, 18-year-old Ariana Ptarcinski suffered a fatal stab wound at her family’s home in Spring Hill, Florida. She died the following day. Her death was ruled a homicide, but in August 2023, prosecutors declined to file criminal charges, citing what they described as insufficient evidence of criminal intent.
For this bonus episode of Voices for Justice, I’m joined by Aaron from the Generation Why podcast. Aaron has been speaking with Ariana’s father, Ed, and takes the lead as we discuss the circumstances surrounding her death, the questions her family has raised about the investigation, and their efforts to get justice.
Ariana was a talented artist, a recent high school graduate, and a young woman making plans for her future. Her story deserves to be heard, and her family shouldn’t have to fight for answers alone.
Please share this episode to help raise awareness. You can learn more about Ariana, follow updates about her case, and find ways to support the call for justice through the links below.
If you have any information about Ariana Ptarcinski’s death, please contact the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office at 352-754-6830, or submit an anonymous tip through Hernando County Crime Stoppers at 1-866-990-8477.

William Tyrrell Part 3
Saison 2 · Épisode 291
vendredi 25 septembre 2026 • Durée 01:11:45
The search for William Tyrrell was becoming one of the largest missing child investigations in Australian history. But as the years passed without answers, the investigation itself began to change.
In Part 3, we examine a major turning point in William’s case: the coronial inquest, the investigation led by Detective Chief Inspector Gary Jubelin, and the controversy that ultimately removed him from the case.
We look at the covert recordings that led to criminal charges against Jubelin, his eventual conviction, and what was happening in the search for William as the investigation moved forward without him.
With competing theories, intense scrutiny, and years of investigative work behind the case, one question remained unchanged: What happened to William Tyrrell?
William was three years old when he disappeared from Kendall, New South Wales, on September 12, 2014. He was wearing a Spider-Man suit at the time of his disappearance.
Anyone with information about William’s disappearance is urged to contact Crime Stoppers Australia.

William Tyrrell Part 2
Saison 2 · Épisode 290
jeudi 17 septembre 2026 • Durée 01:02:15
A tip about a washing machine repairman gave investigators a name to pursue in William Tyrrell’s disappearance. But as scrutiny of Bill Spedding intensified, the evidence supporting his alibi raised questions about the direction of the investigation.
In part two, I examine why police focused on Spedding, what happened when they investigated him, and how their attention shifted toward William’s foster grandmother’s neighbor, Paul Savage. We follow Detective Gary Jubelin’s efforts to test his theories, including an operation involving a decoy Spider Man suit left along a bush trail. As investigators returned to the surrounding bushland for another extensive search, one question remained central: Had William wandered away, or was someone else responsible for his disappearance?
William Tyrrell was last seen on September 12, 2014, at his foster grandmother’s home on Benaroon Drive in Kendall, New South Wales, Australia. He was three years old when he disappeared and would be 15 years old as of September 2026.
William is white, with straight brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a large, dark freckle on the top left side of his head, approximately five centimeters, or two inches, behind his hairline. He was wearing a Spider Man costume when he disappeared.
Anyone with information about William’s disappearance or whereabouts should contact NSW Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 within Australia. Information can also be submitted through the NSW Crime Stoppers website, and you can remain anonymous. A reward of AU$1 million is offered for information that leads police to William.

jeudi 10 septembre 2026 • Durée 01:11:24
On September 12, 2014, three-year-old William Tyrrell disappeared while playing at his foster grandmother’s home on Benaroon Drive in Kendall, New South Wales, Australia.
Within hours, an enormous search was underway. Police, emergency services, and members of the community combed the surrounding bushland, creeks, roads, and properties looking for the little boy. But William was nowhere to be found.
In Part One of this series, we go back to the beginning. We examine William’s life before his disappearance, the events of that morning, the frantic search that followed, and the earliest stages of an investigation that would become one of Australia’s most well-known missing child cases.
Anyone with information about William’s disappearance, no matter how insignificant it may seem, is urged to contact NSW Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000. Information can be provided anonymously.

Shari Lynn Roth
Saison 2 · Épisode 288
jeudi 3 septembre 2026 • Durée 35:45
In August of 1977, 22 year old Shari Lynn Roth left her apartment in North Conway, New Hampshire, for a short afternoon hike. She was supposed to arrive at the teen program where she worked by seven o’clock that evening, but she never showed up. Three days later, Shari was found murdered in the White Mountains.
Nearly 50 years later, Shari’s case remains unsolved. Investigators are hoping brand new pictures, old hiking logs, memories from the trail, and information about a red Volkswagen Beetle could finally lead them to the person responsible. This episode examines the search for Shari, an investigation that appears to have exhausted its leads within its first year, and the questions that remain about whether she encountered a stranger, someone she knew, or someone familiar with the work she was doing in North Conway.
Shari’s family is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Visit Shari’s family website to learn more, read archived articles about her case, or submit information through the family’s private contact form.
If you have information about Shari’s murder, contact the New Hampshire Cold Case Unit at (603) 271 2663 or email coldcaseunit@dos.nh.gov. You can also submit information through the official Cold Case Unit tip form.

The Next Chapter: Kara Robinson Chamberlain
Saison 2 · Épisode 287
lundi 31 août 2026 • Durée 41:12
In this episode of The Next Chapter, I welcome survivor advocate and former law enforcement officer Kara Robinson Chamberlain back to Voices for Justice.
Since Kara’s first appearance in 2022, she has co-created and hosted Survivor’s Guide to True Crime, helped shape a scripted film about her life, worked on a documentary exploring ethics in true crime, and stepped into a new role as the host and investigator of Somebody Knows Something.
Kara shares how motherhood pushed her beyond coping and toward healing, and how her lived experience influences the way she approaches families, witnesses, law enforcement, and the online true crime community. We discuss the responsibility of telling real people’s stories, the complicated balance between public participation and speculation, and why ethical storytelling requires care, nuance, and a clear call to action.
I also ask Kara about the families and moments that stayed with her while filming, and why this next chapter is about using her platform to help other people find answers.
Somebody Knows Something airs Mondays on Freeform and streams the following day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for eligible United States bundle subscribers. If you have information about any case featured in the series, please contact the appropriate law enforcement agency directly.

Still Seeking Justice: Danielle Bell
Saison 2 · Épisode 284
jeudi 13 août 2026 • Durée 35:39
Still Seeking Justice is a new Voices for Justice series created to reconnect with families previously featured on the show, learn what has changed, and determine how we can help now.
In this first installment, Sarah speaks with Bonnie Bell, whose sister Danielle disappeared from Cantonment, Florida, at just fourteen years old in September 2001.
Bonnie shares major developments since Danielle’s original episode, including new private investigators, dozens of leads generated through media coverage, a recently completed search, and two additional locations she hopes will soon be searched.
Bonnie also discusses her effort to establish Danielle’s Law. The proposed initiative calls for urgent and consistent responses when children disappear, the elimination of the runaway label, trauma informed training for law enforcement, standardized investigative questions, and accountability when a guardian delays reporting a missing child.
