A Doctor Was Assaulted By Her Boss. She Knows She's Not The Only One
mercredi 7 octobre 2026 • Durée 01:09:56
In November 2013, Dr Dominique Lee arrived at the Sydney apartment of her mentor, Professor John Kearsley, for dinner. He was head of radiation oncology at St George Hospital, and he had been guiding her as she prepared to become a specialist consultant. By the end of the night, her life and career would be derailed for the next decade.
Dominique's case was the first in Australian history in which a doctor was sent to jail for sexually assaulting another doctor. In 2026, she remains the only junior doctor to win a criminal case against a senior doctor for sexual assault.
In this episode, she tells Gemma about the night that changed everything and the long fight for justice that followed. She also talks about what her case reveals about the culture inside Australian medicine.

The Lindsay Clancy Mini Series: An Unexpected Update
samedi 3 octobre 2026 • Durée 09:30
Lindsay Clancy's trial for the 2023 killings of her three children ended in a mistrial, but the case has been far from quiet since.
In this episode of our mini series, Gemma unpacks everything that has happened since the hung jury. Jurors have spoken out about the one holdout who stopped them reaching a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity. Reports have since emerged about that juror's past, and he has now given his own side of the story.
Patrick Clancy has also spoken publicly. He and his new wife sat down with 60 Minutes, where he addressed the online conspiracy theories about him and shared what Lindsay told him about the day his children died.
Back in court this week, Lindsay's defence made a dramatic shift. At trial, her lawyer argued she wasn't criminally responsible because of mental illness. Now he says prosecutors never proved she killed her children at all.

Josephine Greensill Was Wrongly Convicted Of Assaulting Her Students
mercredi 30 septembre 2026 • Durée 01:05:23
In March 2008, 57-year-old semi-retired schoolteacher Josephine Greensill opened her front door in suburban Melbourne to find three detectives waiting to arrest her. Two men had accused her of sexually abusing them at a backyard sleepover almost 30 years earlier, when they were eight-year-old boys in her class.
No medical experts were ever called, and the jury believed them. Jo spent two and a half years in prison as a convicted child sex offender before her conviction was quashed. The court found the men had colluded and had a financial motive, and that what they described was physically impossible.
Award-winning crime reporter Neil Mercer investigated her case, along with eight others, for his book Falsely Convicted. In this episode he tells Gemma about the common sense failures that sent an innocent woman to jail and what her life looked like once she was released. Neil also looks at the cases of Eric Honeysett framed by NSW police in 1983, and Gene Gibson's case.
For 10 Years Paul Has Been Hunting His Daughter's Killer
mercredi 23 septembre 2026 • Durée 01:04:48
Melbourne woman Elly Warren was a seasoned traveller, despite only being 20 years old.
In 2016, she travelled to Mozambique, Africa, on a month long trip volunteering in marine conservation. Just days before she was due to return to Australia, Elly's body was found at Tofo beach.
The circumstances around her death have never made sense, but after getting limited help from both Australian and Mozambique authorities, Elly's dad Paul has taken it upon himself to investigate and hunt for a killer.
Over the past ten years he has spent countless hours discovering new evidence, inconsistencies in official reports and forensic findings.
In this episode of True Crime Conversations, Paul talks Gemma Bath through Elly's final moments, the evidence that points to homicide, and his heartbreak as he still, all these years later, fights for justice for his little girl.
UPDATE: One Of The Snowtown Murderers Is A Free Man
lundi 21 septembre 2026 • Durée 53:42
In May 1999, two detectives followed a trail of suspicious missing persons cases to an old, red-brick bank in Snowtown, South Australia.
As they head inside, they head straight for the bank’s vault where they find six large plastic barrels containing human remains. They also find handcuffs, knives, a saw, boxes of disposable gloves and bottles of hydrochloric acid.
They’d come to realise they'd found the dumping grounds of Australia’s worst serial killings, crimes that would see four men sent to prison with lengthy sentences.
But now in 2026, James Vlassaki is set to walk free.

Ivan Milat’s Missing Victims & The Six Australians Who Vanished
mercredi 16 septembre 2026 • Durée 01:06:17
Every year in Australia, nearly 50,000 people are reported missing. While the vast majority are located within days, thousands of families are left navigating the harrowing journey of ambiguous loss, fighting every day to keep their loved one's name alive.
In this episode of True Crime Conversations, Gemma Bath speaks with Nicole Morris, founder and director of the Australian Missing Persons Register and author of the new book Lost. For over 20 years, Nicole has voluntarily advocated for missing individuals and provided a vital lifeline to grieving families who often feel unheard by system-level responses.
Together, they delve into the complex realities behind missing persons statistics, the controversial disparity of police rewards across states, and six cases Nicole discusses in her book —including 1970s cold cases with potential links to Ivan Milat.

As ‘Below Deck’ Airs Something Sinister Was Happening Behind The Scenes
mercredi 9 septembre 2026 • Durée 38:04
Gael and Nathan fell in love onscreen during season 9 of Bravo's hit reality TV show Below Deck Med, airing in 2024; but, as Season 11 airs right now, a lot has happened off screen.
Two days after Christmas in 2025, a terrifying assault took place inside an apartment in Sydney’s north-west. New parents Nathan Gallagher and Gael Cameron were arguing when Nathan escalated the fight covering Gael's mouth, suffocating her, and squeezing her neck. Gael eventually broke free and went straight to the police.
But just months later, the couple's relationship and their journey into parenthood with their six-month-old son was broadcast to millions of viewers on Bravo's hit reality TV franchise, Below Deck Mediterranean as they returned for season 11. Fans watched their relationship play out on screen, completely unaware of the horrific domestic violence that had already taken place off-camera. Now, 28-year-old Nathan Gallagher is a convicted criminal on the run. With an active warrant for his arrest, NSW Police have warned the public not to approach him as the manhunt continues.

After more than three weeks of emotional and harrowing testimony, the jury in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial was handed the difficult task of deciding her fate. With five possible outcomes on the table ranging from first-degree murder to not guilty by reason of insanity, the nine women and three men entered deliberations.
What followed was a tense seven days. In this final episode of our mini-series (for now), we walk you through the dramatic conclusion of the trial. Despite repeated encouragement from Judge William F. Sullivan, the jury remained hopelessly deadlocked, with reports of a single holdout juror refusing to follow guidance on reasonable doubt. Following heated exchanges between defence attorney Kevin Reddington, prosecutors, and the judge, a mistrial was officially declared.

Zoe’s Husband Drugged Her Evening Tea. For Years He Assaulted Her While She Slept
mercredi 2 septembre 2026 • Durée 01:08:36
In 2018 Zoe Watts' family believed her 16-year marriage was ending due to an affair. Struggling with debilitating panic attacks, sleeplessness, and nervous breakdowns, she finally confided in her sister, revealing a far more horrifying reality. Her husband hadn't just splintered their family with infidelity; he confessed to secretly drugging her with their son's sleeping medication and sexually abusing her while she was unconscious.
Years before the world learned the name Gisèle Pelicot, Zoe was forced to navigate the shadowed, rarely discussed reality of spousal drug-facilitated rape. After seeing her husband sentenced to 11 years in prison, Zoe waived her legal anonymity to share her story as part of a global CNN investigation exposing online "rape academies"—hidden communities where thousands of men swap tips for drugging their partners. In this episode of True Crime Conversations, Gemma Bath speaks with Zoe Watts about surviving unimaginable betrayal, standing up against secret online networks, and her crusade to reform the laws that allow this crime to fester in the dark.
