What was school like in the 80s and 90s? On this all new episode, Rob and Dave will revisit what it was like getting ready for the school year to start in the decades past. We’ll look back at the fashions, technology and cultural trends that dominated the 80s and 90s. Acid wash jeans, scrunchies, Keds and huge Texas Instrument calculators were necessary items to begin any school year. In this episode, Rob and Dave look back at the excitement, nervousness and dread of going back to school each fall, and really who cares about the learning part of this whole thing. Soundtracks from movies in the 80s had some of the best music of the decade. Epic scores, hot singles and insane collaborations. Some of the biggest movies of the decade like Top Gun, Footloose and Dirty Dancing would spawn some of the most memorable soundtracks of all time. The soundtracks of the 80s seemed to perfectly complement the theme of each film and sometimes even tell you the story of the movie that you were watching.
