Ep. 124 – The Hidden Toxin No One's Talking About: Emotional Root of Cancer With Dr. Tony Jimenez
mardi 2 juin 2026 • Durée 55:50
What if one of the biggest missing pieces in cancer healing isn't physical at all?
In this incredibly powerful episode, I'm joined again by Dr. Tony Jimenez, founder and chief medical officer of Hope4Cancer Treatment Centers, to talk about something that every family walking through cancer needs to hear: the connection between emotions, trauma, stress, and healing.
Dr. Tony shares why emotional healing is not optional during a cancer journey — it's foundational. We talk about how unresolved trauma can quietly impact the body at the cellular level, why hope truly matters in healing, and how emotional wounds can affect not only us, but future generations as well.
We also discuss practical ways to begin emotional healing, how parents can release guilt after a child's diagnosis, and why creating safety, peace, and connection within the body matters so deeply during treatment and recovery.
This conversation is compassionate, eye-opening, deeply hopeful, and filled with practical wisdom you can begin applying today.
Because healing is about more than surviving.
It's about learning how to truly thrive through and beyond cancer.

Ep. 123 – Smiley's Journey: Surviving Childhood Cancer and Spreading Hope
mardi 26 mai 2026 • Durée 46:57
There are some conversations that stay with you long after the recording ends, and this was one of them.
When I first came across Brady Lucas and heard pieces of his story, I immediately knew I wanted him on the podcast. As a cancer mom myself, hearing from survivors who are now thriving years later brings so much hope — not just for me, but for every family walking through this journey right now.
Brady was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at just 8 years old. After enduring years of chemotherapy, he relapsed as a teenager and underwent a life-saving bone marrow transplant donated by his younger brother. In this conversation, he shares what it was like to face cancer as a child, the emotional weight survivors carry long after treatment ends, and how his perspective on health completely transformed because of it.
We also talk about something I'm incredibly passionate about: what happens after treatment. Because surviving cancer is not the finish line. It's the beginning of rebuilding the body, supporting long-term healing, and creating an environment where health can truly thrive. Brady shares how nutrition, movement, sleep, emotional healing, and community support became foundational parts of his healing journey — and why he now feels called to educate and empower other families.
This episode is honest, emotional, encouraging, and deeply hopeful. If you are in the middle of treatment, supporting someone you love through cancer, or navigating survivorship yourself, I hope Brady's story reminds you that there is life, purpose, healing, and hope on the other side of this.

Ep. 114 - Is Eating Chicken & Eggs Ruining Your Health?
mardi 5 novembre 2024 • Durée 47:10
In this episode, we dive into the importance of meat quality and why not all meat is created equal. I am joined by Rob McDaniel, co-founder of Primal Pastures, to discuss the difference between conventional, organic, and truly pasture-raised meat. Rob shares the story behind Primal Pastures, which started as a family project to raise chickens the right way. We talk about the harsh realities of the chicken industry, how pasture-raised animals are healthier, and why buying directly from farms makes a significant impact. Rob also gives tips on how to prepare pasture-raised meats for the best flavor and nutrition and we discuss how to help you save money when purchasing truly organic, pasture raised meat.

Ep. 24 - A Personal Journey in Navigating Grief
mardi 7 février 2023 • Durée 49:25
I feel really honored to introduce you to my friend, Courtney! She's one of my favorite people and we're actually going to talk about a really hard topic…grief.
Grief can be a really difficult conversation for many people, especially because learning how to navigate grief and tragedy is such an emotional process. And while Courtney hasn't navigated a cancer diagnosis, her oldest child passed away unexpectedly, and I know you'll find so much value and appreciation for her honesty and transparency. Plus, even though everyone's grieving process is so personal and unique, she gives some really practical suggestions and ideas to help you or your loved one navigate something so overwhelming and life-alternating.
I pray that this conversation is as life-giving to you as it was to me!

Ep. 23 - The Vagus Nerve and Why It Matters
mardi 31 janvier 2023 • Durée 39:05
I'm so, so excited about today's episode about the Vagus Nerve. I've recently received an increased number of questions about this type of therapy, and I think you're going to love learning all about the role it plays in a cancer diagnosis and in the prevention of disease.
The Vagus Nerve is actually a very powerful part of the body, but most people either have never heard about it or don't know what it is…even I didn't fully understand it until about 2 years ago. So, I'm going to share what it is, how you can easily support it, and some signs and symptoms that you may be experiencing that are signals that your vagus nerve needs support.
This episode is fully packed with information, but I'm excited to equip you with more knowledge on how you support your body's ability to heal and remove inflammation!

Ep. 22 - Why You Need More Stomach Acid!
mardi 24 janvier 2023 • Durée 34:32
Let me ask…have you ever experienced any of the following?
- Heartburn
- Acid reflux
- Bloating
- Belching
- Anemia
- Nausea
- Fatigue
- Headaches
- Easily sunburned
If so, you need to look at your body's ability to digest food and at its need for hydrochloric acid…and this is exactly what I talk about in today's podcast episode!
When I started as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I focused on digestion. Your digestive system is not only responsible for absorbing nutrients, but it can also inhibit the absorption and trigger disease and illness.
So, I'm going to break all of this down by explaining why you need hydrochloric acid, explain the pH scale, what happens to undigested foods, how this break down impacts your immune system, give you a detailed explanation of how the digestive process looks like if things are going well vs. the reality of what most people experience, and equip you with 10 practical and simple steps to help solve the problem.

mardi 10 janvier 2023 • Durée 29:20
"What kind of water should I drink?"...I can't tell you how many versions of this question I receive, especially recently.
Second to oxygen, water is the most essential thing to your health, and sadly, most water is contaminated with toxic chemicals and residues that can hinder a healthy vitality. So, let's jump into the deep end of this topic, and I'm going to share some research, proven facts, and answer some of the most common questions I receive about water.
