Your 20s weren't supposed to feel this disorienting, but half the beliefs driving your decisions aren't even yours.
The Twenties Detox is a podcast and blog for women in their 20s ready to stop absorbing and start questioning. We unpack the mindsets and myths keeping you stuck and replace them with a life built around your own rhythms, not someone else's timeline.
Growth isn't constant. Some seasons are for building, some for rest, some for starting over. If you're between who you were told to be and who you're becoming, you're in the right place.

If you're feeling like you're not enough right now, this is for you.
Saison 5 · Épisode 36
mercredi 30 septembre 2026 • Durée 24:57
As the days get shorter and the shadows outside become a little more visible, autumn invites us to look inward, too.
There’s something about this season that naturally brings our own shadows to the surface: the parts of ourselves we might avoid, the mistakes we still carry, and the feeling that we should be further along than we are.
In this episode, we’re talking about the feeling of not being enough, learning to forgive ourselves for the things we wish we had done differently, and accepting ourselves for where we are right now, even when it isn’t where we ultimately want to be.
Because when we’re constantly living in the past or reaching toward the future, we miss the only place where we can actually create change: the present moment.
Think of this as your autumn reminder to slow down, meet yourself where you are, and make a little more peace with the person you’re becoming. 🩵

Harvest Season 🍂 Q4 planning, the autumn arc & preparing for the holidays
Saison 5 · Épisode 35
mardi 22 septembre 2026 • Durée 25:12
Q4 is right around the corner. And in the corporate and business world, this tends to be one of the busiest times of the year.
End-of-year budgets, holiday sales and marketing campaigns, hitting annual targets, wrapping up projects, planning for the new year... there’s a lot happening.
But here’s the thing: we have a say in how we live, too.
That busy, “finish everything before the year ends” energy isn’t necessarily nature’s energy. It’s business energy. And if we’re not careful, we can start carrying that energy into our own lives, even when the season around us is asking us to do something completely different.
When we resist the slower energy of autumn, it can start to show up in ways like:
Feeling disconnected from your self-worth or self-love
Becoming insecure about how much (or how little) you’ve grown
Getting sick more often
Feeling exhausted, but still feeling like you can’t slow down
Constantly feeling like you need to be doing more before the year is over
As we lean into this new season, I’ll be guiding us through what autumn can actually teach us, what it means to embrace slower months, and how to honour that slower energy without sacrificing our success or ambitions.
But for now, let’s just take a moment.
Look at your vision board. What has come true? What still needs nurturing? What can you let go of?
And, perhaps most importantly, what should you avoid?(Hint: trying to force yourself into “lock in” mode when the season is asking you to slow down.)
How to Feel Like a Kid Again This Autumn Season 🍂
Saison 5 · Épisode 34
mardi 15 septembre 2026 • Durée 18:21
I've always been a very nostalgic person. I love decorating for the fall. Planning the traditions that I would do while the leaves start turning into beautiful golden colours. Making fall candles candy apples are an annual Thanksgiving pumpkin toss (whoever’s rolls the furthest, wins!).
I'd also love to watch movies that would get me in the mood for the season all the 90s and early 2000s Disney Halloween movies, and I even have a fall playlist that I put on the second. It turns October 1st.
It seems I'm not the only one that's constantly craving to feel like a kid again and each of those seasons. It can feel discouraging when no matter what it never reaches what it was like as a kid. But that doesn't mean we can't do things now to maximize every season that comes in a way that feels like you did as a kid and also with the flow of time meaning having the courage to try new things as well.
p.s. I was feeling a little under the weather while recording this one so it's why it's a bit slower and softer. I hope you enjoy it. <3

The Friendship Analogy I Wish I Knew in My Early 20s
Saison 5 · Épisode 33
mercredi 9 septembre 2026 • Durée 20:45
Friendships in your twenties can feel complicated.
People grow, paths change, and it can be hard to know which connections to nurture, redefine, or release.
In this episode, I share the friendship analogy that helped me stop expecting every friendship to hold the same depth: the onion layers.
We talk about the value of curiosity, giving people room to change, investing in your core community, and becoming your own best friend along the way.
Your friendships do not all need to look the same to be meaningful. 🩵
p.s. thanks for being patient with this episode! I couldn’t get it up yesterday because of some technical issues.
Sipping the Last Drop of Summer | Sensommer Lessons
Saison 5 · Épisode 32
mardi 1 septembre 2026 • Durée 22:45
Sensommer is the Scandinavian word for late summer. That golden, lingering stretch before fall arrives. This episode is an invitation to slow down, stay present, and celebrate the season instead of rushing past it.
Before we chase pumpkin spice, let's sip the last drop of summer and honour everything it gave us: the wins, the growth, and the moments we almost skipped past.
Stay a little longer in the sun. 🍑

Let Me De-Influence You: Why I Stopped Trusting Wellness Gurus
Saison 5 · Épisode 31
mardi 25 août 2026 • Durée 21:47
Health is one of the most profitable industries in the world, and that comes with a cost.
Most people are aware of the villainization of western medicine and its ties to Big Pharma. But smart entrepreneurs noticed that shift before the rest of us did, and eastern medicine is now facing the same disproportionate focus on profit over people.
At the end of the day, no guru, doctor, or wellness specialist knows you better than you know yourself. Now more than ever, we need to become better advocates for our own autonomy when it comes to our health.
Disclaimer: this isn't anti-doctor or anti-wellness. It's a reminder that no single product, protocol, or person has the entire answer, because your body, your mind, and your life are too unique for a one-size-fits-all fix.
Buckle up, grab a beverage, and let's chat some de-influencing on my couch!!

5 Things I Do After Work That Don’t Involve My Phone (Summer Edition)
Saison 5 · Épisode 29
mardi 11 août 2026 • Durée 28:13
Maybe you don't hate your job. Your day is just missing your values.
For the longest time I thought I couldn't get excited about my
days because I didn't enjoy my work enough. What I actually
realized was I wasn't building anything into my week that was
connected to my top values.
So in this episode, I'm sharing the top 5 things I
do after a work day that don't involve my phone (or a TV).
Fair warning… please don't copy my routines! The point of a
routine is regulation, familiarity, and listening to your body.
What's perfect for me might look completely different for you.
Use this as a starting point to figure out what YOU actually
value.
We're halfway through summer. This is your gentle reminder to
maximize the season you're in.

How to *Finally* Stop Caring What Other People Think of You
Saison 5 · Épisode 28
mardi 4 août 2026 • Durée 25:28
You are not one person. You are your parents' version, your best friend's version, your coworker's version, and none of them fully capture who you are. So why are you spending your entire twenties trying to control something that was never actually controllable?
In this episode, I am getting into why we take things so personally, from evolutionary wiring to childhood conditioning to the stories different cultures teach us about our own worth. We are talking about the difference between defending your identity and defending your ego, the blue hair theory, and the LET THEM mindset that changed how I move through the world. This is the detox of finally letting people misunderstand you.
This one is for you if you replay conversations for days, if you have ever assumed someone disliked you over one look, or if you are ready to stop managing everyone else's perception of you.
What I’d Beg Every Person in Their 20s to Know About Social Media
Saison 5 · Épisode 27
mardi 21 juillet 2026 • Durée 27:58
For my 100th episode I think it's time that I share the ultimate detox message for our generation.
Although it might be painful to admit… maybe our parents were right? Maybe it is our phones. Specifically, social media.
If you’ve been listening for a while, you know my complicated relationship with social media. I’ve always felt like a bit of a hypocrite: promoting the podcast and making a living as a social media manager on the very apps that drains me. While there are amazing creators out there, these apps were ultimately built using psychological manipulation. They are no longer just tools for connection; they are engines built to influence and sell to us.
In this episode I share my honest thoughts about social media, the psychology of how it’s perpetuating common pain points of feeling “lost” or “behind” in our twenties. I also share some strategies to find a balance with this app (if you’re not convinced to write it off, lol)
Lastly, I encourage you to lean into what your gut is telling you while listening to this video. Only *you* will know what your form of balance is.
Okay, let's get into it.
in this video…
00:00 introduction
02:45 the evolution of instagram
05:35 social media is modern marketing
09:50 the delicacy of our twenties
10:47 yes, it affects our attention span

And then there’s the bonus topic that somehow creeps up every year and has a way of pulling us out of enjoying the season altogether: preparing mentally and financially for the holidays.
Because yes, autumn is about slowing down. But that doesn’t mean we have to be caught off guard when December rolls around.
I hope you enjoyed this one.
Much love,
Bianca

ANSWER TO QUIZ: C
Because your after-work routine should work for you, not against you. You are way more unique than any routine on the internet. The best routine aligns with what you value, supports your current lifestyle (and what it might be missing), and helps your nervous system relax so you can feel more abundant afterwards.
