Since launching this Podcast in April of 2021, I've had an incredible opportunity to talk to many expats from around the world and learn about their experiences.  They've shared their personal journeys about moving to a different country for a job.  How they juggle family while settling into a new home. 
I have gotten lots of feedback from my listeners and all have been positive. But, people have asked me time and again what my story is.  So, for the next four episodes, I will be discussing my move abroad and all the challenges and excitement that brought me.

Ken Sandulak’s childhood had a rocky start that led to drug abuse, quitting high school, issues with family and ultimately being homeless on the streets of Vancouver.  After being arrested, doing time and struggling he eventually got the help he needed at a treatment center called the “Last Door.”  In this program, Ken learned how to control his compulsions and support other recovering addicts. Eventually, Ken became a councillor in a drug and alcohol treatment facility in Vancouver and later in beautiful Chiang Mai, Thailand where he lives today. 

Ken, along with the rest of the world is now waiting out the end of the Covid pandemic, so he can get back to helping people sort out their lives and recover from addiction.  Please note that some of the subject matter may be hard to listen to for someone living with an addiction. If you need help please reach out to your family, friends or a doctor. 

Addiction comes in many forms and there is help out there, you are not alone. 

Kimberley Kleczka is an artist to the core, she creates; children’s books, designer scarves, is the host of a popular radio show in HK and recently has founded an online magazine named — I’m more than a cover. Today she talks about her beginnings and being a traveling gypsy seeing  the world all before she was 19 years old .

Lisa Steven began as an actor dancer and choreographer delighting audiences from Vancouver to the West End of London…  Today she continues that work while doing something completely different and much needed in the film world.  As an intimacy consultant on film sets, she ensures that when things get steamy, actors know what’s coming,- - - and are safe and treated respectfully.  It’s safe to say, we’ll have lots to discuss.

 Kevin Bailey had no idea that getting into retail at an early age would lead to what he’s doing today. He is the Executive Vice President of VF, which is a company that  owns Vans and other retail brands.  Kevin oversees  Asia Pacific & Emerging brands and we are very lucky to be chatting with him about his exciting life as an expat.

Martin Dockery has delighted audiences all over the world with his stories of his life and travels. He holds the audience in the palm of his hand until the very end of the show and people keep coming back to see him perform!
