Dr. Rizakos is a licensed psychologist who specializes in treating children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of emotional and medical conditions, including epilepsy and functional neurological disorders. She is currently the Associate Director at Nova Psychological Services.

Mia sits on our young adult advisory committee and has epilepsy.

Dr. Dan Friedman is a Professor in th Department of Neurology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine & is the director of the division of epilespy.

In this episode we talk about SUDEP, what we know and what we don't know. We know this episode can be triggering for a lot of people with epilepsy. We do our best to share tips and give support for those who are rightfully so, afraid.
