Ep 12: Liking People is Optional…Loving Them Isn’t!
Épisode 12
mercredi 17 juin 2020 • Durée 17:12
It is not a feeling, it is a choice. A choice to love even when we don’t like! That person you can’t stand, that you are so adamantly against, Christ died for them too!
I can’t help but think that when Christ shows His love to me He likely over looks my faults. He knows I’m not perfect, but He doesn’t let that affect the way He loves me. He loves me not because of how I act or because of how I treat Him, but in spite of it! You know what…there is some serious grace involved in His brand of love.
We are called to show this same love to others…not just those we like, and not only when they are acting like we think they should. People should not have to earn our love. They should receive it whether we think they “deserve” it or not. This is how we love like Jesus!

Ep. 10: For the Christian Mom Who is Losing Her Mind: You Are Not Alone!
Épisode 10
mercredi 20 mai 2020 • Durée 19:48
Perhaps you’ve heard the Maya Angelou quote, “Know better. Do Better.” But what happens when you know better, but you keep not doing the thing you know to do!
No offense to Maya Angelou! I respect her work and know that she had a different message in mind with these words.
But here is where I find myself:
Once again, my big mouth and my emotional overdrive have gotten the better of me.
Once again, I let my feelings trample all over my hard-earned wisdom.
You see, it is often not that we don’t know what to do, but most often that we fail to step back and weigh our situation in light of the progress we have already made.
I don’t think I’m alone in this craziness. And neither are you, sister! I hope this episode allows you to give yourself some grace. Helps to silence the condemning voice in your head that tells you you are the only one with this struggle. And encourages you to move forward, staying in His Word and trusting that with His help we are making progress.

Ep. 9 - His Issues/Her Issues: Are You Seeing Clearly in Your Marriage
Épisode 9
mercredi 6 mai 2020 • Durée 26:03
I am such a speck inspector! And unfortunately, (especially for Tim) my marriage is often not exempt from my expertise.
You know what I’m talking about, right? The passage in Luke about the beam and the speck?
I seem to have an uncanny ability to see around or even straight through the beam in my eye to help Tim identify the speck in his. Praise God, I’m not a bad as I used to be, but no doubt, I still have plenty of work to do!

Ep 8: #FightCOVID19: This Is My Story
Épisode 8
vendredi 24 avril 2020 • Durée 40:53
Isolation is dangerous ground when you are going through hard times. Sometimes we need others to help us shine the Light of His Truth in our dark places. Decide to reach out! I’m so thankful my friends were there to help me lift my hands to heaven when I didn’t have the strength to do it for myself.
And know this… I truly believe there is purpose in pain! If we will give our broken pieces to the Lord He will use them and us to impact the world for His kingdom. But we must decide to be used!
WARNING: The first part of this episode is most definitely not my most upbeat, fiery of messages. But this is real time. This is me in the midst of recovering from my battle. I sound terrible! But there are lessons learned and messages from my mess that I want you to hear right now. Right where I am.
Power Point: If you’d like to skip the personal details and jump right to the most to-the-point, power portion of this episode feel free to pick it up at time stamp (27:33).

Ep 7: COVID and Kids: An Unrehearsed Interview w/ My Kiddos
Épisode 7
mardi 7 avril 2020 • Durée 28:28
We're all processing a lot right now. But are we checking in to see how our kids are feeling in this season? I decided to take a few minutes to ask my own kids how they are feeling in the midst of the COVID crisis...with a microphone of course!
While there's plenty of goofiness here, there were also things that came out of their mouths that blew my mind! Grab your own kids, and listen to this one together. I hope this will serve as a great jumping off point for your own family's conversation and offer some fresh perspective in this time of uncertainty.
So #StayHome and learn along #WithMe how to talk with kids about COVID.
