We're back from a short summer break with a new episode featuring a discussion with Lane Skelton. This week I'm happy to welcome the CEO of Parmigiani Fleurier, Guido Terreni. Parmigiani is a brand that has released some of the most interesting watches in recent memory across their modern sport-chic Tonda collection, and most recently with the introduction of a new Toric (you can see my initial reaction to the Toric from Geneva right here). In this discussion, Guido shares insights to what it means to create a formal watch, and how Parmigiani thinks a bit differently about the genre as a whole. It's difficult to argue with the results, but his thinking certainly adds a level of depth to the overall approach taken.

Benoit inherits a Zenith that is at the top of their game thanks to the efforts of prior CEO, Julien Tornare, who is now serving in that role for TAG Heuer. Zenith has had a mega year already with the release of watches like the new Defy Diver line at Watches & Wonders, and the new triple calendar Chronomaster Original prior to that.
