It is important for speech language pathologists to empower parents and involve them in the therapy process, as they play a crucial role in their child's progress. Additionally, there is a need for more training and awareness about the impact of tongue ties and orofacial myofunctional disorders on speech development. The traditional model of speech therapy may need to be reevaluated and adapted to better serve the needs of homeschooling families.
