My guest on the podcast today is Cathy Bissell, founder of The Bissell Pet Foundation. The foundation’s goal is to help reduce the number of animals in shelters and in other rescue organizations. BPF has awarded millions of dollars to their growing partner network of animal welfare organizations and has impacted the lives of an incalculable number of pets by funding pet adoption, spay/neuter, microchipping and medical emergencies. With growing support and lots of boots on the ground they are saving lives in all 50 states and Canada.

My guest is Juliana Castañeda Turner founder of Juliana's Animals Sanctuary located in Colombia, South America. This organization is a U.S. registered and licensed 501c3 in both countries. Their mission is to protect all sentient beings and educate people on the proper treatment of all animals with the goal of learning to share the planet with them without consuming those that are considered food.

Nathan’s mission is to improve the relationship between people and their dogs by teaching us humans how to have clear lines of communication with our canines. He helps by being an interpreter and then handing you the tools you need to succeed in your communication with your canines.

My guest on this podcast episode is Meg Sahdala president and founder of Miami Animal Rescue. As a trained musician and an experienced real estate agent Meg found herself visiting foreclosed homes to sell and finding abandoned animals in them. The scenario became all too common. Her love for animals created a calling she could not ignore. Meg founded MAR to save and advocate for homeless dogs and other animals in Miami Dade County.
