This mystical Yoga Nidra journey invites you to surrender into the rhythm of your inner tides—drifting through oceanic body scans, soft breath awareness, and a descent into the deepest layers of being.
Held in the embrace of sacred waters, you’ll be guided through the subtle energy body and into the quiet ocean of your inner self—where there is nothing to fix, nothing to force. Only to feel, to soften, to be.
✨ This session was recorded live at The Sanctuary Thailand, where I am a resident yoga teacher. At the beginning of the class, no one had ever practiced Yoga Nidra before, so I offer a gentle introduction to this ancient practice, first documented in the Upanishads. You’ll learn how Yoga Nidra offers a journey through the koshas—the five layers of being—toward deep rest and inner union.

This podcast has been quietly evolving, and today, I am stepping fully into that transformation. 🌿
What began as Guided Meditations with Nola Bloom in 2021 has grown into something much deeper—a space not just for meditation but for reflection, storytelling, and expansion.
After years of guiding students, refining my voice, and sharing moments of stillness, it became clear that this offering was ready to evolve.
So, I welcome you to The Blooming Spirit Podcast—a space where meditations remain at the heart, but where we now breathe deeper into dharma talks, yoga philosophy, and the art of embodied living. This is a place for seekers, for wanderers, for those who long to root into something deeper while reaching for the light.
In this episode, I share the story behind this transition, why this name has been in my heart for so long, and what you can expect moving forward.

The Year of the Snake beckons us to embrace quiet transformation, wisdom, and grace. Like the Snake shedding its skin, this meditation invites you to release what no longer serves you and step into a cycle of renewal and deep intuition.
The Snake moves with purpose and clarity, reminding us that transformation doesn’t always need to be loud or fiery—it can be soft, subtle, and profoundly powerful.
As someone born in the Year of the Dragon, this transition holds a deeply personal significance for me. The Dragon year was one of bold transformations, challenges, and reigniting creative fire. It pushed me to embrace my courage and step into new opportunities. Now, as I bid farewell to the Dragon—knowing it won’t return for another 12 years—I feel a mix of bittersweet gratitude and excitement. The Snake’s energy calls us to slow down, listen inward, and embrace a more intuitive path.
In this meditation, we honor the wisdom of the Snake as we release the fire of the Dragon. Through a mystical body scan and a vivid visualization journey, you’ll reflect on what you’re ready to let go of and invite the Snake’s quiet strength to guide you into this new chapter of your life.
