Barrett and Myles continue their rewatch journey as they discuss episode 3, "The Big Crappy Birthday Episode." In this episode of Half & Half Mona and Dee Dee attempt to throw a joint party, as Dee Dee thinks it'll bring them closer together but it actually just brings up bad memories of the past and reminds us why Mona is so distant. In this episode, Spencer and Mona get a visit from an old college friend (played by the amazing Tatyana Ali) who ends up sleeping with Spencer and having a pregnancy scare. Barrett and Myles have finally reached a good ol' sitcom staple... The holiday episode! In this episode, they recap episode 10, where all the women come together for Thanksgiving dinner and are joined by the sisters' paternal grandmother, who is played by none other than the legendary Diahann Carroll. Throughout the evening the sisters' grandmother clearly has favorites (Mona and Phyllis) and it drives the Dee Dees crazy as they try everything they can to win her over. The family is also joined by Spencer who accidentally spills some tea about Mona, which causes a rift between them.

Myles and Barrett recape episode 9, "The Big In with the Crowd Episode." In this episode, Mona is invited to a girls' night with Mona's friends (one of which is played by Nicole Scherzinger), but she quickly feels like she doesn't belong as they discuss the fancy parts of life she can't afford. Later, when Dee Dee gifts Mona the same expensive purse all of her other friends have it complicates her feelings even more, as she's eager to sell it for the money she so desperately needs. Meanwhile, Spencer starts to date one of Dee Dee's fancy friends and he's living it up as she spoils him with gifts and she's appreciative to have a handsome man willing to do whatever she requests.

Barrett and Myles recap episode 8, "The Big Ex-pectations Episode." In this episode, guest starring the amazing Keith Robinson, Dee Dee falls for a new guy, or at least a guy that's new to her. It turns out he's Mona's high school boyfriend...and not just any boyfriend but the one who took her virginity. Mona gives Dee Dee her blessing to date him at first, but soon old feelings creep back in, and she wants him back. Will they choose each other, or will they let him get in between their growing bond?

In this episode, Mona goes to the club with Spencer and hits it off with a guy named Miles (not to be confused with the co-host of this podcast).
