We welcome Lee Tomlinson, the author of Compassion Heals: From Self-care to Healthcare. He’s also affectionately known as Patient Lee from his TED Talk, where he wowed his audience with more than showing up in a patient gown.
He’d be the first to tell you he led a charmed life until his world crashed around him when his doctors discovered Stage 3+ throat cancer.
Lee will share with us:

• What inspired him to create “The C.A.R.E. Effect Movement

• How does trauma is the result when treatment is lacking in compassion

• What is compassion, and why is it a powerful change agent

• The life-saving benefits of giving others compassionate care

Plus more…

More About Lee: After a lifetime of extraordinary experiences as a highly successful entrepreneur and long-term customer service expert, Lee Tomlinson faced a battle with Stage 3+ throat cancer. His journey through cancer and encounters with compassion-less care led him to severe depression and thoughts of suicide. It opened his eyes to the life-saving benefits of compassionate care.

Fortunately, a deeply kind and caring physician renewed Lee’s will to live and inspired him to create “The C.A.R.E. When Everyone Else Gave Up Is The Moment It All Changed12 Feb 202200:54:12
When everyone else gave up, this week’s guest Noah Hammond Tyrrell went to “work.” Noah, a spiritual life & business coach, got a call that no one ever wants… his father had been diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. Noah heard the resignation in everyone’s voices—doctors, family, even his dad. But that’s when Noah went to work…

He went home and dug into the trainings he’d taken in the prior years with a natural healer "who’d cured thousands using ancient wisdom." Noah reviewed other wellness approaches he’d studied, including the benefits of juicing, the use of cannabis—particularly hemp oils, and other ‘natural’ modalities. Before long, Noah was gently coercing his reluctant father to drink massive amounts of beet and carrot juice, along with taking hemp oil capsules. Noah says, “then the miracle happened; not only did dad learn to love the protocol, but the tumor began to shrink, and soon it was gone!” The doctors are mystified—but not Noah and his family.

The following month, Noah and his wife launched a company named in honor of the fact that dad was now “feeling good….” Today, the Feel Good Hemp company (FeelGoodHemp.org) focuses on educating people about hemp oil and selling (Hemp) CBD oil products to support wellness and a peaceful state of mind.* They also launched the Feel Good Library, a free platform full of empowering courses, because, as Noah says, “After an experience like this one, the career life coach in me couldn’t help but give back. We offer all these courses and techniques for self-help and self-healing because YOUR power to heal is immense and not to be underestimated!” (FeelGoodLibrary.com).

In our time together, Noah shares learnings from his library, including the “7 Levels of Change,” a framework to access your inner power and live life to the fullest! And,
• The remarkable impact of one person’s actions in the face of everyone’s resignation to a medical diagnosis
• The possible benefits of CBD hemp oils and how to find the best products for your needs
• The power of HOPE and the natural healing abilities of the body when supported in a natural way and a resource with simple free courses to support your wellness and well-being.

How to Make Meaning and Create a Legacy with Legacy Expert Susie Briscoe23 Jan 202200:52:53
Have you ever thought about your legacy? I know some people think that can be a bit grim, but since my diagnosis, I’ve been thinking a lot about creating my legacy before time runs out... And, I see a strong association between legacy and patient advocacy. Maybe like you, I must make meaning of what life has thrown my way.

Now, I’m passionate about others not having to experience autoimmune and wanting others to optimize their health 'before it's too late.' So when my friend Susie Briscoe released her latest book, “Ascension to Legacy: How to Live Your Legacy in Your Lifetime,” I asked her to share with us what she’s learned about legacy. Susie first defines it for us "...legacy is something you create during your lifetime with the sole idea of benefiting generations who will follow you, whether in your immediate family or whether you broaden your horizons with the intention to benefit humanity.”

In this episode, she reflects on her experiences of:
• The multiple ways to reassess your life,
• How to uncover the kind of legacy you want to be remembered for?
• How to be your best self by looking at the light and shadows,
• Her own and others developing their passion(s) into legacy,
plus so much more...

More about our guest: Susie Briscoe, Chair of Acer Coaching Associates
International Business & Legacy Mentor and author of the International Best Seller “Colour Your Legacy” and “Ascension to Legacy: How to Live Your Legacy in Your Lifetime.”

Susie has identified ‘Leading Legacy’ work as a significant part of her passion. She works with people who still have an empty feeling inside themselves for whatever reason and finds a way to give back to the world while recognizing the importance of not wasting time the clock continues to tick.

Susie shares, “My main buzz is helping women entrepreneurs understand their life purpose in such a way as to Live their Legacy as they walk through their life… moving them from a life of success to one of significance.”

Dr. Minette is a creative catalyst and mentor for artists and creatives who fondly call her the “Unicorn Squirrel Wrangler.” Her clients appreciate her unique ability to help them manage their bright shiny idea syndrome, reduce stress, create well-being, and increase their productivity without getting bored or burnt out.

As the creator of the Emerge Method™, she shares from her breakthrough transformational process that helps you heal your relationship with your Inner Artist so you can emerge as your most authentic and creative self. Just some of what Dr. Minette shares with us is ways to:

Discovering Our Inner Wisdom: Beliefs, Inner-knowing and Our Well-being24 Apr 202100:54:17
One of my favorite quotes from this week’s guest, Dr. Sondra Barrett, is, “I find myself asking questions — where does knowledge come from, how can we make it useful for healing. That is what a scientist does — asks questions and looks for answers.”

Dr. Barrett refers to herself as a ‘recovering scientist.’ With a Ph.D. in biochemistry, post-doctoral fellowship in immunology,  and former faculty at the University of California Medical School, she veered off from mainstream medical research to people caring and mind-body healing education.

In this wide-ranging exploration of inner wisdom, we chat about healing beyond the physical to create more profound wellness and well-being. Her newest work goes back 40 years when she discovered, through the microscope, elemental sacred geometry in minerals associated with the Zodiac.

Dr. Barrett shares with us her research on elemental wisdom and symbolism plus
• What is inner-knowing, and how does it manifest in our well-being
• Can we talk to our higher-self and is it useful
• How breathing aids stress reduction and wellness
• And the beauty of curiosity aligned with our inner “I wonder...”  plus more...

More about our guest: Dr. Sondra Barrett has led support groups for people with cancer, immune illnesses, and heart disease, bringing together science, art, and the sacred. She now teaches various online classes, including ‘Lessening Stress,’ ‘Secrets of Your Cells' book club, and ‘The Elemental Cell,’ the latter merges cell biology, nature, and elemental symbolic wisdom. Her Awakening Cellular Intelligence workshops have taken her around the globe, including China, Scotland, and Malta.

She is the author of several books, including the perennial favorite ‘Secrets of Your Cells: Discovering Your Body’s Inner Intelligence’ and the coauthor of ‘Ultimate Immunity’ with Elson Haas, MD. Can Things Really Change In As Little As Two-Minutes? Encore02 Apr 202100:53:56
Here we are more than a year into the pandemic and many of our abilities to power through ‘all-this’ are stretched thin. What if you could calm down, refocus, and quell anxiety in as little as two minutes? Think about everything that would change if you could:
• Sleep better and focus more
• Not let anxiety rule your decisions
• Have more time for what’s important
• Let go of stress and angst effortlessly
• Vanquish fear and come from love and more….

In this awesome encore, we welcome back to the show Tamara Green and David Dachinger of LovingMeditations.com. In 2013, David Dachinger and Tamara Green heard the six words that changed everything… “David, you have stage IV cancer!” Choosing to focus on the gifts rather than the difficulties, they stayed calm, grateful, and even optimistic, with David avoiding severe health complications from his treatment.

David’s results sparked his oncologist to ask what they were doing to remain so upbeat. “Whatever it is,” he said, “I want that for all of my patients and families!” It was a ‘light-bulb moment,’ and Loving Meditations was born.

Tamara Green, David's wife is known as “The Soul-centered Love and Relationship Expert” by 'Elle Magazine' and she is regularly featured as a behavioral health expert on Today.com, Bravo.com, YourTango.com, and DatingAdvice.com. She wrote a monthly Dear Abby-type column for Authentic Life Magazine for 3 years.
