Our podcast seems to coalesce into an analysis, a hobby: to examine culture over the long arc of time, and explore how our own drops in the ocean might return but an ounce of satisfaction.
We are, of course, not exactly the first men ever to do this. The contemplation of depth, of the artist’s response, probably date back to the cave.
There is something in human mastery that intrinsically compels us. We are astounded by the few wild creatures who not only dazzle us with their words, but delight us in their telling. When content and form fuse together, we feel it. A work of art, one’s self-expression, is embodied.

Episode 38 — Dating and the Grasp of Technology ____________________________________________________
This discussion continues on from Episode 36.
You've heard the advice: "Dress to impress!" Match your belt to your shoes, iron your collar, buy a nice watch… the usual suspects of masculine style advice.
And you know how hollow it feels. You look ‘put together’, but who you really are is completely trapped inside… you’re dissonant, and getting discouraged.
Zan and Jordan far prefer the idea of dressing to express.
Just look at the way they appear on camera. Two distinct styles, yet what they share is deeper: dress, for both men, is an act of self-love.
What you wear doesn't just communicate who you are—it changes the way you show up in the world. Take the most uninspiringly dressed man and add nothing but one of Zan's scarves to his outfit, and you'll notice a sudden shift in his posture, his voice, his aliveness. He becomes ever so slightly more playful, more at ease.
But what if women’s scarves and pinky rings just aren’t your thing?
In today’s episode, Zan and Jordan share simple exercises that will guide you towards an outward expression that communicates a higher form of you, even if you don’t know what it is yet.

Episode 38 — Dating and the Grasp of Technology ____________________________________________________
You’ve probably seen the stats on online dating. In 2019, a Stanford University survey suggested that 39% of new couples, across the US, met online, surpassing any other form of introduction.
And you’ve probably experienced, first-hand, that most popular dating sites are—when it comes to number of matches—incredibly rigged against men.
Maybe it’s old-fashioned, but Zan and Jordan far prefer the romantic idea of meeting someone in embodied life. Far away from the nearest screen and, if possible, she’ll write down her phone number in lipstick, on the torn-out flap of a pack of cigarettes.
Sex and intimacy are contact sports. Those who practice _in the flesh_ build a different sort of resilience. Everyone stuck in the online bubble aches to burst out of it. Women get matches every day but haven’t met one decent man in months. *Zan is constantly saying: people will soon crave the old-time art of starting conversations with anyone, anywhere.*

“People who wear white sneakers don’t f***.”
I heard someone say that once, and it stuck with me. Not because it’s necessarily true, but because of what it captures about the all-white sneaker craze. The spotless, generic shoe has become the ultimate ‘I follow what’s trending’ accessory. Too often, it signals not style but an absence of curiosity: a shrug at one’s own tastes…at one’s search for identity.
Zan drives the point home further: “A woman instantly judges you on your extremities—hair, nails, and shoes,” he says. “It’s not about how new or expensive [your shoes] are. It’s about how much they express your personality.”
Now, if you’re feeling down, letting your beard grow unkempt, skipping showers, and walking around with dirty fingernails might technically feel ‘authentic’, but good luck finding a woman eager to sleep with you in that condition.

For all that relationship with a woman can do for you–and there is wisdom that only relationship with a woman can reveal to you–the fulfillment that you’re really searching for must ultimately come from a source deep within yourself.
It’s cliché, but it’s true.
Now, if you’re serious about finding lasting fulfillment and moving through the world with a sense of ease, your next question will be, “How do I access that source of power within myself?”
There’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Your age, stage of life, background and the work you’ve already put into this pursuit will all dictate exactly what you must do for your inner fire to shine just as bright as you need it to.
However, there is one practice that any man on this journey can undertake to illuminate at least part of the path. When faced with a decision, ask yourself: “Does this take me closer to the life I’d like to have?”

Imagine that you’re out and you encounter a woman you find absolutely irresistible. Your heart races a little, your cheeks flush…and then you realize that she is completely indifferent about you.

Many men (and women) have read and re-read this line, understanding it conceptually, yet fail to *know the experience of being symmetrically in love*.

Many men who experience feelings of limerence or ‘asymmetrical love’, do so because something clouds their judgement. Seeking to fill an inherent feeling of lack with external stimuli, they pursue partners to cover up deep wounds like a band-aid, failing to experience mutual fulfillment on a heart level.
It’s often prescribed that lasting satisfaction comes when you fill your own voids, inwardly.

Today’s episode is a response to the following question from a viewer: “How can I celebrate women, and enjoy my encounters with them, when I’m in my warrior energy, and not lose it?”

If you’re in relationship with a woman, you can expect that–at some point or another–she will serve you up a juicy personal dilemma of hers.
Its origin may have nothing to do with you, however, your own sense of well-being, and ultimately the state of your relationship will depend entirely on what you do in the face of her storm.
Lots of guys will get caught in the vortex. They’ll get frustrated, they’ll react unconsciously and they’ll end up making things worse.
Others, having astutely examined and learned a thing or two from women in the past, will immediately assume the role of ‘coach’ without her ever having asked, harbouring even more irritation. (Pro tip: do not do this!)

Every mindful man eventually faces this question: how do we navigate our relationship with sexuality in a world saturated with pornographic imagery?
If you want to feel masterful with your sexual impulses and desires, porn is a universe, a likely addiction, with which you must grapple.
There's no getting away from it. It's archetypal:

If you’re reading in the northern hemisphere, tonight is the longest night of the year. The ‘sun’, so to speak, has gone down, way down, and he will not rise again for three days.
In my younger days, this was one of the best times. Our pagan roots would pour through—parties, drinking, hook-ups that in any other season wouldn’t dare happen. At the coldest time of year, people became unseasonably warm.
These days, I tend to down tools in early December, travel somewhere a few days, watch the year’s best movies, and plot out what’s to come. By the time Jan rolls around, I’ve actioned my new year’s intention, and find myself in a whole new place. _Mentally, geographically, all the rest of it._
I didn’t plan this end-of-year rhythm: it’s just arisen as a natural cycle. Many things have to shift when you grow beyond party culture.
The older I get, the more I see how _shaped_ we are by seasons and rituals. I sense it’s wise to move with them.

Hearing so many horror stories, and with hateful attitudes in the air around them, many men are in retreat, predicting that if they put their best foot forward in dating, it won’t be long until they’re knocked down.
The angst of our age has become a forcefield, holding many of us and our desires back.
While we all know that a positive mindset helps create positive outcomes, it is still difficult for so many of us to let go of our grievances; our sense that so much in the world is unfair, or is skewed against us.

“How do I stop being so serious and become genuinely more playful?”
I find it fascinating that it took 14 episodes of Abundance in the Land Of Women for this question to come up–but I’m not surprised. You see, while the man who asks himself what he’d like his life to look like and strives to create it is already a rare breed, it’s even rarer for a man to go about his lifetime adventure with a sense of gratitude, humour and ease through the highs and lows.
No matter how much, or little playfulness you think you embody right now, the truth is that we all like fun. Women are no different. The realization of ‘the power of now’ and truly ‘being in the present moment’ are incredibly useful tools that a man can use to get much more out of life, and access an entirely hidden realm of the Land of Women.

Episode 12 – Your Mental State: Hidden Communication with Women ____________________________________________________
The way in which your ‘state’ is affected by a woman you’re attracted to is the tell-tale sign, signifying your chances of having her be attracted back to you or not.
Men who have abundance simply don’t get anxious, nervous or feel ashamed when they come across a girl they’re attracted to. In fact, a woman’s presence is likely to put them onto an even more easeful, accepting and gracious wavelength.
