In this week's episode I chat openly and honestly to Tom about his career, his fantastic long list of credits, his training experiences, as well as what his career means to him and how it has helped him personally. Tom also shares his invaluable advice and top tips for creatives!

It was an absolute pleasure to interview Tom today and I would like to thank him personally for his honesty and openness on this episode - it really was a heartfelt one. I'm so thankful for him opening up to me and trusting me with his story.

In this week's episode I chat to my good friend Chris Week about life on the road playing the iconic Buddy Holly, all about his drama school audition experiences, his training at Oxford School of Drama, what it's like to be an Actor Muso, his Buddy and Cilla audition experiences (including an 1.5 hour solo audition!) and how watching his Dad in the Am Drama and Muso world from a young age inspired him to pursue a career in The Arts.

When I tell you I am SO happy to be back! I hope you're all enjoying 2021 so far! I have a feeling that you are going to love this season...

I'm back with my FINAL episode of the season - can you believe it?! And Episode 8 is with none other than my super lovely and beautiful friend, actress of stage and screen, singer, dancer and teacher... Sophie Kandola!

I have to thank Soph for re-recording this episode with me (!) as I somehow could not for the life of me locate her files when I went to edit! But, it was just a great excuse to pour a glass of bubbly and catch up with this soon-to-be-wifey!

During this episode we chat, (as per!) all things auditions; from finding success at an open audition, to sitting on the panel for drama school auditions, to tips on how to be re-employed multiple times by a production company. It was so lovely to chat with Soph and share a variety of stories and experiences; from horror knee injuries to South Asian representation within the industry to positive and encouraging group auditions! I'm back with Episode 7 and this next episode is with my agent, head of the Musical Theatre division at TTA Mel Cursons!

In this week's episode we focus on Mel's previous career as a performer, her agent audition DOs & DONTS, exactly what the panel are looking for, why you shouldn't always choose a ballad AND we also chat about the hilarious circumstances that we became agent & client 5 years ago!

Before Mel became an agent, she trained at Hertfordshire Theatre School for 3 years and gained a diploma in Acting/Musical Theatre, going onto perform in showcases in the West End at the Fortune Theatre and Her Majesty’s Theatre. Mel also previously travelled around Europe singing in a variety of different shows including performing as a lead vocalist with a Jazz Band and appearing in her own cabaret. Her TV credits include: ‘Asda’ (a story you won't want to miss!) ‘Vauxhall’ and ‘Classic FM’.

I'm back with Episode 6 and this next episode is with my friend, actor, singer, dancer, singing teacher and Urdang alumnus - Aizaac Sidhu!

In this episode we chat all about how music and the arts played a huge part in Aizaac's early years, how his career in performing organically blossomed from; being a child performing solo pop concerts in the playground, to burning negative and unfair criticism (literally!) as a teen, to training at Urdang and successfully working for Disney as a professional performer! We also play a number of quick fire rounds and games and have a good old chat and a giggle!
