Look who is coming for dinner! is a podcast hosted by Bob Trigg from his studio on the Central coast of NSW, Australia.
Guests are invited to choose 5 (five) musicians who they would like to invite over for dinner at their house. The 5 musicians can be from ANY period of time (eg from Mozart - a member of Metallica), or even from a movie or cartoon (eg Elwood Blues or Bleedin' Gums Murphy…)
Basically, the guest can choose the 5 musos who they would love to have a dinner with, and along the way they get to tell why they chose each guest, what they plan to serve the guests, who will be sitting next to who etc…sounds FABULOUS!!!

This is not really an episode but just a quick chat to explain what happened in June and what is going to happen over the next few months! Exciting news for me is that I have been asked to go on tour with Pub Choir and if you live in a capital city in either Australia or New Zealand, come to a show and say hi! I'll be standing behind the sound desk wondering what all the coloured buttons do 😅
Ep. 52 of the LWICFD! podcast features wildlife veterinarian, analog film photographer, podcaster and author Dr. César Puechmarin 💥📷 🦅
I first heard about César during my interview with Luke Henery (ep. 43 - check it out!) where Luke told me about César's awesome "Death by Birding" Podcast (check it out too! It's rad, as is his other podcast "Every Animal Ever" )
You'll have to excuse my fan-boying but we have one of my all time favourite chats (🚨with a smidge of ranting thrown in🚨) about many varied subjects ranging from potential right-wing Koalas who may have Chlamydia 🐨, to AI robots that can compose a song from just a simple hum (f@ck you Suno 🖕🏼).
You'll laugh (hopefully🤞🏼) & cry (I did) & thanks to César for such a rad yarn - I reckon you will dig it as we explore all things floræ, faunæ & funga (?) 🍄 plus his 5 totally eclectic guests! 🥳
Another massive thanks to @shizafrigginhotsauce for the Friggin' hot sauce & sponsoring my show. It's hotter than César's schedule (man is busy! 🤯) so check them out & put it on all of your foods. 🥵🔥🌶️
Finally, thanks to my patreons for their $upport & further 🔗 to all the other fun things from this episode including César's Spotify playlist featuring his fantasy guests are in the show notes ⬇️
On this episode of the LWICFD! Podcast we have Tour Manager to pretty much every band that ever existed, Benn Newby 🥳
For nearly 20 years, Benn has tour managed many amazing Australian & International bands & artists. I won't name them all here because it would take 10,000 years 😅 but the list includes bands such as Karnivool, Birds of Tokyo, John Butler, Genesis Owusu, Paramore & Death Cab for Cutie to name just a tiny fraction of acts that Benn has toured with in venues from tiny clubs to massive stadiums & everything in between, travelling all around our beautiful country & the globe (including some crazy times to Russia & India, which we hear about during the chat.)
Benn has also been the Artist Relations manager @ Warner Music for a few years, but his most important job out of all of this cool stuff is that of a loving husband and father - I don't know how he does it all but mad respect to Benn & his family & we have a great catch up about how he got into it & some of his adventures along the way. 💥🙌🏼
Massive thanks to @shizafrigginhotsauce for the Friggin' hot sauce & sponsoring my show. It's hotter than one of the gigs that went down in India that Benn was on and so go check them out and put it on all of the foods. 🤯🔥🌶️

EP. 43 - LUKE HENERY (PHOTOGRAPHER + BASS PLAYER @ VIOLENT SOHO / DZ DEATHRAYS / TOTAL PACE)
Saison 2 · Épisode 43
mercredi 28 mai 2025 • Durée 01:42:21
On the latest episode of the LWICFD! Podcast we have one of the nicest guys that I have met in the rock and/or roll game…Luke Henery!
You may have seen Mr. Henery slappin da bass in bands such as Violent Soho, DZ Deathrays & Total Pace but he is also an incredible photographer who develops his own photos (check out his insta page - 🔗 below) and we have a great chat about photos, bands and birds 🦉🐦⬛🦜 as well as his maxed out dinner party - I really enjoyed this chat & I hope you enjoy listening to it.
Massive thanks to @shizafrigginhotsauce for the Friggin' hot sauce & sponsoring my show. It's hotter than an invite to Luke's fantasy dinner party (we had quite a few gate crashers I had to bounce out 😂) and so go check them out and put it on all of the foods. 🤯🔥🌶️

The latest instalment of the LWICFD! Podcast features my good mate Rowan Robinson! 🎣
Apart from being a super keen fly fisherman, Robbo also manages some awesome Australian acts which includes Seth Sentry & Ceres, as well as doing the odd spot of tour management. I've known Robbo for nearly 20 years now & it was awesome to catch up to talk growing up in the Wild West 🏜️(ie East Perth), touring & fishing, plus meet his dinner guests - some of them may surprise you!
Massive thanks to @shizafrigginhotsauce for the Friggin' hot sauce & sponsoring my show. It's hotter than the friction caused by the fishing line straining under the weight of a massive bull trout fish (Salvelinus confluentus - google it 🤓 😅 🐟) and so go check them out and put it on all of the foods. 🤯🔥🌶️

On this epidode of the LWICFD! Podcast it gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Michael "Petrol" Petritsch who is a guitar tech by trade (altho he makes rad coffee on the side).
Petrol has tech'd for HEAPS of bands (we talk about a few of them on the ep.) and is about to go on the road with Northlane for a huge tour of Europe & then back here in Australia (dates etc. in the show notes). Petrol & I have a cool chat about guitar teching & what's involved, some of the bands he has worked for & tattoos (amongst other things) plus we get to hear about who he would want to sit down to dinner with when he's not on the road…
Massive thanks to @shizafrigginhotsauce for the Friggin' hot sauce & sponsoring my show again this year. It's hotter than Petrols frequent flyer card for the next 6+ months (and previous few years) 😅 and so go check them out and put it on all of the foods. 🤯🔥🌶️

EP. 40 - JACK EGGLESTONE (DRUMMER @ MCLUSKY / FUTURE OF THE LEFT)
Saison 2 · Épisode 40
mardi 1 avril 2025 • Durée 01:15:23
KNOCK KNOCK!!
Thats right - it's time for a brand new episode of the Look Who is Coming For Dinner! Podcast - the first one for 2025 to be exact, and also it's episode#40!! 🔥 🥳
For this episode we have the man with the coolest name in rock, Jack Egglestone 💥 Jack plays drums in mclusky & Future of the Left who are 2 bands from the UK who I was lucky enough to be the sound engineer & tour manager for a few times back in the day when they toured down under 🦘
mclusky have a new record coming out on 9th May called "The World is still here and so are we" and they are also coming back to Australia in January 2026 (tour dates are in the show notes) so be sure to get a ticket - one of the best & entertaining live bands I have ever seen…🤘🏼🤘🏼
Massive thanks to @shizafrigginhotsauce for the Friggin' hot sauce & sponsoring my show again this year. It's hotter than the heat I've been getting from various listeners about the lack of a new podcast 😅 and so go check them out and put it on all of the foods. 🤯🔥🌶️

On this final episode of the LWICFD! Podcast for 2024 we have Dave from The Banger Rebellion! ✊🏼💥🤘🏼
The Banger Rebellion is a beautiful chrome Airstream caravan that serves up these AMAZING gourmet sausages + also a variety of toasted sandwiches (my top 2 favourite food groups 😋) & is located at 44 The Esplanade, Ettalong Beach, NSW, Australia & I cannot recommend the food there highly enough 🤤. Being an ex-sausage slinger myself I know how tough it is out there on the tongs and so I have nothing but respect & admiration for this operation & I look forward to championing the rebellion and seeing where this revolution will go.
Massive thanks to @shizafrigginhotsauce for the Friggin' hot sauce & sponsoring my show again this year. It's hotter than combining a "Spicy Motherclucker" x "Chilli Uprising" (2 of the mind-blowing meals available at The Banger Rebellion) and so go check them out and put it on all of the foods. 🤯🔥🌶️

Be good, be happy, be safe & and I will catch you all in 2025!
On this episode of the LWICFD! Podcast we have my very dear friend Caroline Tully!
Caro was the first person to give me a go in the music industry, when she very kindly offered me some internship work at the legendary concert promoter Michael Chugg Entertainment (waaaay back in 2000), when she was the General Manager there. Since then Caro has done so many things to do with touring, promoting & managing bands etc. it was really hard to condense it all into one episode, especially as it had been several years since we had properly caught up. I owe Caro a HUGE thank you for giving me a chance all those years ago and it was very special for me to have her on my podcast 🙏🏼.
Massive thanks to @shizafrigginhotsauce for the Friggin' hot sauce & sponsoring my show. It's hotter than the sting of a Scorpions tail (#iykyk) and so go check them out and put it on all of the foods. 🦂♏️🔥🌶️
Further 🔗 to all the other fun things from this episode including Caro's Spotify playlist featuring her fantasy guests are in the show notes below & the poddy is available on all good platforms…
