Connelly is widely credited as the architect of this Denver Nuggets team and is responsible for drafting Nikola Jokic, Gary Harris, and the rest of the core of this team. In this episode, I share my detailed notes on Game 5 between the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers. The Blazers made a key matchup adjustment and it had the opposite effect as they were hoping. I talk about how switching Enes Kanter onto Paul Millsap backfired despite Kanter "knowing all of Millsap's moves." The Denver bench also may have found a new plan of attack. Damian Lillard played like a superstar but it didn't even move the needle. And Juancho Hernangomez even got his moment in the spotlight.
