Data centers are only a small part of the total buildings in the world. Yet, 3 to 4% of all carbon from energy use, comes from these 11.000 data centers. Add water consumption for cooling and electrical waste to the equation, and your looking at an overlooked, but quite large, sustainability challenge in a very small industry. And now, with the rise of AI - data centers will only require more energy!

So what can we do about this upcoming challenge in construction? That is the topic of todays podcast.
