Self-Care for Herbalists | The Plant Healer's Path Ep. 17
mardi 18 novembre 2025 • Durée 13:07
Welcome back to The Plant Healer's Path. In this episode, Jesse Wolf Hardin offers a deeply heartfelt teaching on the essential — yet often overlooked — practice of tending to ourselves as healers, caregivers, herbalists, and helpers of all kinds.
Through story, reflection, and grounded wisdom, Wolf explores the emotional, physical, and spiritual costs of caring for others, and why our own vitality, rest, creativity, nourishment, and joy must remain at the center of our work.
If you've ever felt depleted, overstretched, compassion-fatigued, or burdened by the weight of wanting to "fix the whole damn world," this one is a powerful reminder to come home to yourself.
This audio was extracted from the beautiful video version available on the HerbRally YouTube channel.

The Struggle of Marketing as an Herbalist | Alex Williams
lundi 17 novembre 2025 • Durée 06:16
In this clip from The Herbalist Hour, Alex Williams of First Curve Apothecary joins me for an honest, grounded conversation about what it really feels like to promote your work in the herbal world. We dive into the tension between authenticity and business, why marketing often feels gross or performative, the pressure to "sell yourself," and how herbalists can share their offerings without feeding the hype, fear, or scarcity that so often drives conventional marketing.
Alex speaks candidly about learning to trust that people are "enough" as they are, navigating capitalism as a village herbalist, and finding ways to sustain a business while staying true to your values. If you've ever struggled with selling herbal products, pricing your work, or promoting yourself without feeling like you're selling your soul… this one is for you.

The ESHM Free Herbal Clinic Fundraiser with Thomas Easley
dimanche 28 juillet 2024 • Durée 02:44
The Eclectic School of Herbal Medicine (ESHM) is excited to announce a fundraiser for their student-led Free Herbal Clinic!
After 10 years of operation, client needs have expanded beyond their budget, and they need your help to keep the free clinic thriving!
With the the support of the herbal community, they will continue to offer comprehensive herbal care for all.
THE GOAL
Their fundraiser goal is to raise $10,000, which will cover the costs of the first round of herbal formulas for our free clinic clients for one year and help provide a living wage for their dedicated apothecary worker, who makes medicines and fills formulas onsite in Lowgap, NC. The free clinic supports countless people each year, but it's costly to run. Despite the income from Eclectica Botanica sales, their current funding source for the free clinic, they're not coming close to breaking even. This fundraiser is crucial for them to sustain and expand their services.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Your support can make a significant difference! They have an array of items generously donated by fellow herbalists available for purchase. All proceeds go directly to the free clinic. You can also sponsor a clinic client's herbal needs or make a donation of any amount. Every contribution, even as little as $5, helps them continue offering essential services.
Thank you for supporting their clinic and helping continue to provide valuable services to those in need!
