Les and Leslie walk us through how to uproot "Bad Thoughts" and how to renew your mind biblically & psychologically.

Here are the "Big 5" Bad Thoughts as presented in Bad Thoughts:

    1.    False Guilt – Feeling unforgivable or unworthy.

→ Remember: You're forgiven and free by God's grace.

    2.    People-Pleasing – Living for others' approval.

→ Truth: God's acceptance is enough.

    3.    Self-Doubt – "I'm not good enough."

→ Truth: You're equipped and empowered by the Spirit.

    4.    Pride / Entitlement – "I deserve this."

→ Fix: Choose humility and dependence on God.

since we started GGB, we have been excited for our Christmas episode. we love our Lord Jesus sooooo much and today's episode is basically an hour of us singing His praises😭

we break down the birth of Jesus in its entirety. it's so important that you stay present during the whole reading today. we need to soak in the miraculous and wondrous truth of the fact that GOD HIMSELF stepped into HUMAN HISTORY to save the world and reconcile us back to Him.
we then talk about the holidays in general, Santa, gifts, etc.

we had the actual time of our lives recording this one you guys. we love Christmas so much. we truly have so much joy in our hearts this season, not because of anything material or earthly-- but because we have a hyper awareness of the truth of Jesus, who He is & what He did. we are so focused on Him and it's brought the child-like wonder and awe back into Christmas for us. we pray, in the Name of Jesus, that you too focus on our Savior to experience this same joy.

hi guys. we're single. and today we talk about it and let you in on our personal lives in a way we haven't before.
we know this episode is a long one... we debated splitting it into two parts but decided it was best to keep it together as we didn't want the second half without the lead up & scripture in the first.

the first hour of this episode is all things singleness-- from a biblical standpoint. we talk about why it is a gift (we knowwwww it feels like a curse, we know), what to do when your single, and how to look at it as a blessing with scripture to back it up.

the second hour (at almost exactly the 60:00 mark) we just let loose. we had been getting so many messages of GGB gang wanting us to let our goofy sides shine for at least one episode-- and we definitely did just that! we had you guys ask us questions and we answered them. the most personal questions might i add (ex's, break ups, who we're currently dating, our ideal types, our worst first dates, our icks & red flags). we spend the second hour doing what we do best, laughing til it hurts.

FRIDAY AKA GGB DAY ♡
hi our loves!!! we missed you.
this week we talk about THE WAITING SEASON.
God gave you a promise... but he's making you wait for it to come to pass. we know it's hard. but you're not alone in the waiting. it's common. it's necessary. and God's timing is absolutely perfect. we PROMISE!

we read about Abraham and Sarah's journey with having their son, Isaac, in Genesis 15-21.
we discuss how crucial it is not just to wait on God, but to wait well. to wait patiently and expectant of God's faithfulness to fulfill His promise. we talk about how going outside of God's will (kinda like the way Sarah did when she didn't believe God would give her a son of her own so she offered her maidservant to her husband to have a baby by...) will always result in a major lack of peace and often times a massive mess. but hallelujahhhh we serve a God who proves His promise in Romans 8:28 to be true every time. He will not only clean up our mess.. but even bless our mistakes (like He blessed the life of Hagar's son, Ishmael)
