Luke Burgis - The cult of experts
Épisode 233
mardi 28 septembre 2021 • Durée 01:10:53
My goal with this podcast is to try and find legitimately interesting people who can hold a conversation. Luke is one such human. After recently writing his excellent book, Wanting, we spend over an hour talking about nearly everything else other than the book. Especially my favourite topic: the cult of experts.
About LukeLuke has co-created and led four companies in wellness, consumer products, and technology. He’s currently Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Director of Programs at the Ciocca Center for Principled Entrepreneurship where he also teaches business at The Catholic University of America.

Nick Winkelman is my perfect kind of guest. Well-read, intelligent and knows things beyond his own realm of expertise—we had a lot of fun with this conversation. After having the pleasure of chatting with him on Clubhouse a while back I knew I needed to chat to him in more detail in the long-form arena.
About NickNick Winkelman is the head of athletic performance & science for the Irish Rugby Football Union. His primary role is to oversee the delivery and development of strength & conditioning and sports science across all national (Men and Women) and provincial teams (Leinster, Munster, Connacht, and Ulster).
