Last episode (Ep. 11: Skandal mit Rose w/Sandro), we originally included a bit we called the “rapid fire round”, where the five of us ploughed our way through +30 releases that came out these last couple of months.

However, in the deep dark dungeons wherein dwells our high priest of audio sorcery, it was prophesied that perhaps another 25min of content would be testing our listeners' patience a little too much. As a result, we decided to release this bit as extra material between our typically unpredictable recording schedule. Think of it as a little snack between meals.

In this first episode of EARBVDS, we talk about many things metal. After an extensive round of introductions, in which we cover virtually everything ranging from Robbie Williams to Fit for an Autopsy, we review a selection of (fairly) recent releases, including Half Me – Soma (00:44:56), Periphery – Periphery V: Djent is not a Genre (00:54:36), Invent Animate – Heavener (01:09:21), and Downfall of Gaia – Silhouettes of Disgust (01:17:30).

We also ramble on about older stuff that we care about. But only tangentially, because we run out of time. Alas, it is our first show after all.

In our ninth episode (which roughly marks our 1yr anniversary), we talk many things metal, as usual.
