Tammy Peterson graduated from high school in 1979 and moved to central Canada, where she worked, studied and married her husband Jordan in 1989. She raised 2 children and now has 4 grandchildren whom she adores.

In the 80s and 90s, Tammy attended university, studying kinesiology and visual art. She owned and operated a massage therapist business for 30 years. She has taught Hatha Yoga and continued to practice Hatha and Kundalini yoga on her own. More recently, Tammy spent 3 years working as a logistics consultant for her husband, Jordan, organizing his daily itinerary on his sold out worldwide book tour. They traveled the world giving talks in 140 cities.

In 2019, Tammy suffered and recovered from a near-fatal illness. This experience changed and deepened her understanding of how life ought to be lived. In 2022, she toured the USA, Australia, and Europe, visiting over 250 cities with her husband. During this tour, she often opened the lectures with her personal reflections on the chapters of Jordan's book "Beyond Order: An Antidote to Chaos."

Now, in 2024, she is on yet another tour with her husband throughout the USA, stopping in 50 cities to give lectures on his new book "We Who Wrestle with God," set to be released in November 2024.

Tammy began hosting her own podcast called "Tammy Peterson Podcast" at the beginning of 2023. On her podcast, she invites guests to discuss issues of the day that are of concern, namely religion, health, education, and the family, with a specific focus on children, men, and women.

Diane, at the age of 78 and a half, hails from Jersey City, New Jersey, where she grew up as an only child. She lived most of her adult life in Jersey before moving to Northeast Pennsylvania. In this serene setting, she leads a fulfilling life on a semi-homestead, cultivating her garden and caring for her chickens. Her companions include her Great Dane, Lola, and a variety of other pets.

In her personal life, Diane celebrates a remarkable 50-year marriage with her husband Richard, and together they raised five children. She is a cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren and a great-grandmother to two. Professionally, Diane devoted her career to nursing, serving in diverse roles including wound care, renal/dialysis, and geriatric care. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a nurse practitioner, providing psychiatric care to male inmates at the Pennsylvania State Department of Corrections.

Diane's life has been marked by a struggle with what is now known as Binge Eating Disorder, a condition she describes as "food addiction." This disorder led to significant weight fluctuations, with her weight varying by 50 to 100 pounds over several years. She found partial success in weight management through her involvement in 12-step programs addressing food addiction, though she continued to experience bouts of uncontrolled food binges.

Despite these challenges, Diane's health was largely uneventful until her later years. In 2017, she was diagnosed and treated for colon cancer, undergoing surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. It was during this period that she adopted a keto diet, eventually transitioning to a carnivore diet in January 2020. This dietary shift resulted in an 80-pound weight loss and enabled her to maintain a consistent weight for almost three years, a new achievement in her life.

Diane also faced additional health issues, including a second battle with cancer in her lung in 2022 and a significant cardiac procedure to replace an aortic valve. She has successfully recovered from these health challenges and now relishes her retirement, energetically managing her homestead.

Diane has a history of depression and anxiety dating back to early adolescence. She was previously treated with various SSRIs and medications but has since ceased using psychiatric drugs. Currently, she enjoys a more stable mood than in the past.

Jeffrey was 16/17 when he first began experiencing symptoms of pain. In his junior year of high school, he found himself lagging behind his peers physically. What began as mere soreness soon escalated, making it difficult for him to attend classes. At times, he found himself stranded on the stairs. He consulted a wide range of specialists, including chiropractors, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists, among others. They offered various diagnoses: some attributed it to his weight, others to his stretching habits, lack of strength, or even his diet. Jeffrey underwent numerous treatments; he was adjusted, pulled at, poked, sampled, and by some, he felt disregarded. From bed rest and ibuprofen to cortisol injections in his spine, he tried it all, but nothing alleviated his pain. His condition led to weight gain, increased stiffness, and constant discomfort. Eventually, he was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. After hearing Dr. Shawn Baker on JRE, and with guidance from his rheumatologist and naturopath, Jeffrey decided to try the carnivore diet. Now in his 30s, he feels more physically able than he did in his early 20s and no longer relies on medication for pain management.

Todd is 40 years old and he has been on the carnivore diet for just over 9 months.  He weighed approximately 715 to 760 lbs when he started the carnivore diet. At 14 years old, he weighed 600 lbs, and he currently weighs 470 lbs. He was confined to a chair for over 2 years. He needed oxygen 24 hours a day. Be Careful What Doctors You Listen To | Dr. Shawn Baker & Dr. Sean Murphy19 Oct 202300:50:08

Since he was a child, Sean struggled with anemia of chronic inflammation and mixed connective tissue disease. His symptoms became worse when he was in college, and after visiting a rheumatologist, he was put on hydroxychloroquine for immunosuppression. In 2019, he was working on a gut microbiome research project at the University of Arizona. During that time, an undergraduate student mentioned to him how an all-beef diet may be of benefit to autoimmune disease. 

Having been thoroughly indoctrinated into medical culture, he was firmly in the grasp of a pescatarian lifestyle. He would eat fruit, corn chips, vegetables, and hummus daily, with an occasional can of sardines. His hemoglobin was steadily dropping along with his exercise tolerance, he was experiencing worsening joint pain, and began having simple partial seizures. A rheumatologist then recommended starting stronger immunosuppressive therapy such as azathioprine. 

That's when he remembered what the student had told him and he found the work of Dr. Shawn Baker and Paul Saladino. In 2020, very shortly after he started the strict carnivorous diet, strictly red meat and butter, he experienced nothing short of a miraculous resolution of his symptoms. Joint pain abated, normocytic anemia resolved within several months for the first time in his life, and seizure activity resolved. As he became more interested in the work of Paul Saladino, he began touting the dangers of long-term ketosis and the benefits of fruit and honey. Regrettably, he followed this advice over the course of the next 2 years. 

Although his autoimmune disease did not return, his seizures became more frequent and eventually more severe, requiring him to start taking Keppra, an antiepileptic medication. He didn't think that the cause could be his copious consumption of sugary fruits and massive amounts of honey. He then began to read criticisms of this strategy and, honestly, his respect for Dr. Saladino deteriorated with his incessant promotion of dubious organ pills. Since this past winter, he's been consistently in ketosis, eating zero carbohydrates, with commensurate steady improvement in the temporal lobe epilepsy. 

Recent publications such as 'Brain Energy' by Dr. Chris Palmer have highlighted to him how important brain metabolism is for neurological conditions. He hopes that no one else makes the same mistake and reaps all the incredible benefits of long-term ketosis through a carnivorous diet.

Unfortunately, he developed a lung problem due to volcanic gases, which forced him to move to the mainland. His activity levels decreased, his dietary habits worsened, and he could no longer pursue hunting or fishing. He gained weight and stopped monitoring his weight when he reached 275 lbs, frustrated by his deteriorating condition. This led to a period of depression. He tried various diets, including green juicing, but none seemed to work. While the Keto diet improved how he felt, it didn't help him lose weight. He often found himself consuming too many "substitute" foods which didn't help him break old eating habits. Then, he discovered the Carnivore diet, and it transformed his life.

In the first year of his carnivore journey, he returned to his former weight of 178 lbs, reminiscent of his 20s and 30s. For the subsequent 2.5 years, he has effortlessly maintained this weight: always satiated, never falling ill, and exercising with impressive recovery rates. All the benefits he'd heard about the Carnivore diet proved true for him.

In addition to the weight loss, the severe allergies he had even in his younger years have now completely disappeared, which he finds nothing short of miraculous. His persistent sinusitis has also vanished, and he no longer experiences joint pain. Today, he leads a highly active life, and his sleep quality has drastically improved. He wakes up naturally with the sunrise, something he couldn't do before. He often remarks that he started the Carnivore diet for weight loss but continues because of the rejuvenating benefits it offers.

His next venture is to focus on building strength and muscle at 60 years of age. He plans to work out with "intention", and embark on a biweekly, year-long fun YouTube challenge named "carnivore strong" alongside two other Carnivore YouTube acquaintances.
