Here’s the short of the long: a jewelry maker announced on Instagram that she was closing her business because the “Instagram-algorithm” was not showing her posts to her followers.

The video went viral and started a movement of frustrated makers “begging” Instagram to change their algorithm back to how it was 5 years ago.

There’s a lot that goes into growing your jewelry sales – online.One thing is for sure,  Live Selling is a great way to create “community” around your brand, get more website traffic, and scale your growth.

 

I am passionate about helping jewelry business owners grow their businesses and create multiple streams of revenue. In my experience, I see a lot of jewelry makers who thrive selling in person or to stores but they can’t seem to translate that in person experience or success into e-commerce sales.

One of the best moves I ever made as a jewelry designer was scaling down my jewelry business to focus only on fine, custom jewelry for private clients. 

The reason WHY I love it so much is because you can make so much more money per piece when you’re delivering an experience for someone.

I'm interviewing a designer named Candice Eve Padro of Abstracted Reverie.

And she joined our Laying The Foundation program about 10 months ago or so. And I just love hearing her story because she is talking about what it actually has taken her to navigate. Building her business on the side while working a full-time job while launching her first website right before COVID hit and all the things and how she's really navigated that as a creative, I think you'll find this really inspiring if you're someone who gets frazzled by your business a lot if you're someone who is working a full-time job and you just think that there's no way that you could get your business off the ground or whatever it might be. Or even if you're just busy in general.
