Explore the intersection of embryology and Qigong with Dr. Neel and guest Bob Lehnberg, a body-mind-centering expert. This episode delves into how embryological processes inform somatic healing and mindfulness, offering insights into our earliest development stages' spiritual and transformative aspects.
Bob's journey in qigong, rooted in a somatic philosophy, began in 1986 with taiji and expanded to the Five Animal Frolics qigong in 1992. His exploration deepened in 1998 under Bruce Frantzis in California, leading to a profound understanding of qi.
Over two decades, Bob has studied with numerous Energy Arts teachers, developing a practice that emphasizes healing, growth, and transformation. Influenced significantly by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and the Body-Mind Centering® approach, Bob's work integrates experiential anatomy and developmental movement. Certified in various disciplines, including Body-Mind Centering®, BMC™ Yoga, and Supreme Science of Qigong®, Bob has taught in massage therapy schools and somatic programs globally since 1990. From 2007 to 2018, he was a core faculty member at the Kinesthetic Learning Center in Durham, NC.
Currently, he serves as core faculty and Course Coordinator for the Esprit en Mouvement BMC SME program in Montreal, Canada, and co-directs the SME program in Taiwan, sharing his expertise in somatic practices with a worldwide audience.
