Episode #46: Madame Pamita on Tarot, Divination, and Magic for Joy and Success
Saison 3 · Épisode 17
mercredi 30 octobre 2024 • Durée 01:21:34
In this episode of Coffee and Divination, I had the pleasure of sitting down with author, tarot reader, and witch Madame Pamita to explore the magic of tarot and how it can transform our lives. We discuss her wonderful book, Magical Tarot, which guides readers to use tarot as a tool for personal empowerment and magical growth. (I've already recommended the book to a number of friends and family interested in Tarot.) She shares her insights on developing divination skills, both personally and professionally, and provides thoughtful advice on how to use tarot and magic to create a more joyful, abundant life.
This was a wonderful conversation, and although the release has been delayed due to technical issues, I'm very glad to be able to share it now! I hope you enjoy listening.
Also, a quick announcement: My co-High Priestess of the North Wyldewood Coven, Denise Cruci, and I will be presenting at the Sacred Space Conference in March 2025. In the notes below, you can find full details and sign up to attend via their website.
As always, if you enjoy the show, please share with your friends and leave a 5-star review wherever you listen to this podcast! To get in touch with me, find the show on Instagram at @coffeeanddivination

Episode #45: Coby Michael on The Poison Path, Baneful Herbs, and Magical Changes of Consciousness
Saison 3 · Épisode 16
samedi 20 juillet 2024 • Durée 01:07:38
Our guest for this episode is author and herbalist Coby Michael. Coby is the author of "The Poison Path: Baneful Herbs, Medicinal Nightshades, and Ritual Entheogens." During the episode we discuss the possibilities of magic and healing with plant allies in the Nightshade family, the links between fears of poison and the power of magical practices, and I greatly appreciated our conversation about these important, challenging topics.
Please note that in this episode, we discuss many dangerous, potentially toxic, even deadly plants. No one should interact with these plants or substances made from them without consulting a doctor or licensed physician, and nothing contained in this show constitutes medical advice or should be taken in the place of that advice. Please research these matters very carefully, and do not ingest or put things on your skin or in your lungs unless you have professional guidance and care. With that in mind, enjoy the episode!

This week, our episode is a conversation with the wonderful heathen author and seer Patricia Lafayllve. Within the excellent heathen organization, The Troth, she is an Elder, as well as High Steward. She has performed rituals throughout the US, and is a natural Seer and trained seidr-worker, and in our conversation together, we discussed the essential skills needed to practice trance-based divination, the importance of respect and grounded research in our personal worship, and her two excellent books: A Practical Heathen's Guide to Asatru and Freyja, Lady, Vanadis: An Introduction to the Goddess.

Episode 35: Solo Show on Developing Divination Relationships, and An Exciting Announcement
Saison 3 · Épisode 6
jeudi 23 mars 2023 • Durée 20:27
The very first "solo show" of Coffee and Divination! I wanted to speak a little about a topic that's come up with a number with my guests recently: how we relate to our divinatory tools, and also how we might deepen our connections to them. As a Witch who practices a nature-based, pantheist, and animist Tradition, the act of relating to forms of divination, and the Spirits who speak through them, is something I think a great deal about both as a teacher and a practitioner. In today's episode, I share five things that I feel are key to developing healthy relationships in divination. There is obviously a great deal to say on the topic, so this is only a beginning...
I am also excited to officially announce the podcast's new Patreon page! To show my thanks to our listeners, I'll be hosting a special Patreon-only Zoom "Coffee and Divination" chat hangout each month, (beginning with a Launch Party on April 1st,) where we can chat, discuss magic planning, and where myself and my rotating guest co-hosts will throw cards or otherwise answer listener questions during the hour... For our Patreon members, I'll also be releasing additional content including monthly templates and spreadsheets for divination, advance notice of guests, extra episodes, and more. Check out the Patreon page to learn more and to sign up!
Enjoy this week's episode, and I hope I'll see you all at our Zoom Patreon Launch Party on Saturday, April 1st, 2023.

Episode 34: Peter Mark Adams on Sacred Art, Architecture, and Hellenistic Mysteries
Saison 3 · Épisode 5
vendredi 10 mars 2023 • Durée 01:18:10
The latest episode is another lovely discussion with author, poet, and scholar Peter Mark Adams. His latest work, "Hagia Sophia / Sanctum of Kronos: Spiritual Dissent in an Age of Tyranny," is a fascinating exploration of the pagan Mystery cults and their diverse survivals in later philosophical traditions, as well as a discussion of the ways in which the construction of the Hagia Sophia cathedral in Constantinople (present-day Istanbul) encapsulates the metaphysics of spiritual union taught within the Eleusinian tradition – all in the face of intense persecution and oppression. Diving into the nature of sacred art, symbolism, and religious 'survivals,' I really enjoyed the conversation and I hope you do as well!

Episode #29: Brian Wilkins on "The Oracle of Decans" and Healing Magic
Saison 2 · Épisode 15
jeudi 4 août 2022 • Durée 01:25:18
A fantastic conversation with author, teacher, and diviner Brian Wilkins, centering on his new book and oracle deck, "The Oracle of Decans." We delved into a discussion of the 36 Decan spirits, as well as the nature and interplay of magic, divination, and healing. This is a book and deck I've been looking forward to for a while, and the conversation around it is one I hope you enjoy. Important work in this world, and these times.
