Liam Rosenior's first proper game in charge of Chelsea ends in narrow defeat. As a Blues team decimated by illness, injuries and suspension, falls just short of Arsenal in a 2-3 loss at Stamford Bridge in the first leg of our Carabao Cup semi final.

Bozo Sanchez turned up again, being at fault for both of the first two goals conceded, but at least Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench to score a brace to keep our hopes alive and give us a fighting chance for the 2nd leg at the Emirates in a few weeks time.

Rosenior now MUST beat Brentford in our next game!

First game, first win, for new Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior!

A comfortable 5-1 away win against Charlton Athletic in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, thanks to goals from Jorrel Hato (playing left No 10), Tosin, Marc Guiu plus off the bench Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez.

First verdict on Rosenior, both from interviews and what we saw on the pitch. Which players will benefit and who will "suffer" most under the new manager? Looking ahead to Arsenal on Wednesday and our other fixtures in January.

Enzo Maresca has left Chelsea, Liam Rosenior, from Strasbourg, on the verge of taking over but in the mean time, U21s Coach Callum McFarlane took charge of the team away at Man City, and thanks to a huge mental and physical effort with a last minute equaliser by Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea somehow come away from the Etihad without losing a point in our pocket!

Chelsea never do things the easy way!

A hard fought, impressive second half comeback, from 2-0 down to 2-2, away at Newcastle as well as an initially difficult Carabao Cup tie against Cardiff, but in the end winning 3-1 thanks to Garnacho and Neto off the bench and qualifying us for the semi finals against either Arsenal or Crystal Palace.

Reece James was unbelievable at St. James' Park, with worldie of a free kick goal, insane last ditch defending and leading his team all over the pitch.

As Maresca's power struggle with the Chelsea hierarchy continues in the background, we wonder what outcomes the whole situation could have! Leave us your thoughts!

Not quite the perfect week, but a team and performance to be proud of.

As Chelsea get a 1-1 draw against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, taking the lead through Trevoh Chalobah despite being down to 10 men following the first half red card for Moises Caicedo.

Mikel Merino gets an equaliser for Arsenal, but if 11 man Chelsea battered Arsenal, even 10 blues were arguably the better team for large parts. Largely, thanks to Reece James. What a game from our skipper!

We move on to Leeds on Wednesday, can Maresca's Chelsea get back to winning and keep their good form going, or will we drop the 'typical' points against teams we should be beating?

Still on cloud 9, with UCL top 8 looking a lot more likely, looking ahead to another gigantic game on Sunday, against current league leaders, Arsenal.
