We had to start in the way all of the Beatlesphere is this week, with a reflection on the release of Beatles Anthology 2025.  Once we express our feelings on that, we transition into our episode proper and cover rock bands with two lives, our Beatles themed tombstones, some Paul love, some Jeff Tweedy love, mixed feeling on James McCartney, and the Beatles Beverly Hills phase.  From there we are joined by our favorite neighbor from the North, Ethan Alexanian, to discuss a little more about James McCartney and the Brill Building cover, Chains.

It's time to get scholarly at Blotto HQ.  Put on your robe, light your pipe, pour a snifter of brandy, and retire to your study as we welcome Kenneth Womack (The Wo!) for this extrasode.  Ken is the author of the newly released JOHN LENNON 1980: THE LAST DAYS IN THE LIFE, and SOLID STATE: THE STORY OF ABBEY ROAD AND THE END OF THE BEATLES, among others.  He joined Team Blotto to discuss the burning questions only a Beatles scholar can answer, what he's been up to in the pandemic, the enormous loss we all still from from the passing of John Lennon, and the Yoko song, "Walking on Thin Ice," which features John Lennon's last guitar work.
