In this episode of Beyond Reality: Beyond The Traitors, TV producer Hayley Ferguson sits down with former Made In Bondi star and model Lawson Mahoney following his banishment on The Traitors Australia.
Having previously worked as a post-producer on Made in Bondi, Hayley dives straight into Lawson's transformation on screen - from dealing with the heavy emotional tax of structured reality to stepping into a high-stakes psychological game with a point to prove.
In this episode, we discuss:
The Reality TV Renaissance: How Lawson shifted public perception from his Made in Bondi edit to becoming one of the most endearing personalities in the manor.
The Star-Studded Manor Shock: What went through his head when he realised he was entering a celebrity edition alongside massive TV personalities.
The Strategic Blindspot: Lawson reveals his approach to finding absolute Faithfuls versus Traitor hunting, and why connecting socially kept him safe.
The Scroll Mission Disaster: The split-second decision to block the murder - and why not communicating with the group drew an immediate target on his back.
The Ultimate Blindside: Lawson’s genuine shock when his closest ally, Josh, spearheaded his banishment.
The Chess Secret: How a fellow contestant somehow deduced a private detail that added to his strategic threat level.
Life After Made in Bondi: What really happened between Lawson and Bella, plus his pitch for future reality TV appearances.
Plus Quick-Fire Questions: Who he’d murder first, his dream reality TV shows, and who left him most starstruck on Day 1.
