241 - Cherries Have NEVER Left Goodison Park Happy, BUT...

vendredi 30 août 2024Durée 28:19

There are reasons to be optimistic this Saturday, as Cherries visit Goodison Park for the last time ever. Yes, it's not a place where we have much joy, but the way we are playing suggests we have MORE than a chance against Sean Dyche's spluttering side. Tom and Sam are the The Queens Park for the BIG match preview! 240 - Lets All Laugh At Bournemouth (Newcastle VAR Review)

lundi 26 août 2024Durée 53:45

Saturday evening saw VAR thrust into the limelight again as Bournemouth's winner against Newcastle United at Dean Court was deemed to be handball. The media didn't see it, the Bournemouth players didn't see it, the Newcastle players didn't see it, but 100 miles away in Stockley Park, the "t***ts in suits* DID. In this brutal review, Sam, Tom and Neil tackle yet another match weekend where PGMOL, VAR and IFAB lead the top stories. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. mardi 9 juillet 2024Durée 01:00:30

142 - Rovers Return... With Three Points

mardi 14 décembre 2021Durée 01:06:41

A resurgent Blackburn Rovers came to Dean Court full of confidence after their incredible run of games, and they continued that form thanks to a goal either side of half time. Indeed, a dispirited AFC Bournemouth failed to make inroads against a well drilled and well-organised Tony Mowbray team - and this left the Cherries just three points clear of third - ouch! Sam, Jeff, Tigz, Tom, and Neil get together to work out the hows, what’s and why’s - as, despite the 2-0 home defeat, it was the manner of the performance that was more concerning, with a lack of intensity and flair which has served us so well for large parts of the season. Just what went so wrong? Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. 141 - Five Seconds In Fulham

mardi 7 décembre 2021Durée 01:03:52

Fulham was always going to be a tough game wasn’t it? Form, momentum, injuries - everything seemed to dictate a home win, but despite the confidence from the home side, it was Cherries that stole a march on their rivals with a superb set-piece routine from the second half restart, but frustratingly, Tosin's late header ensured the top two shared a point. In this pod, Sam and Tigz return to dissect Friday's draw with the Cottagers in the capital - as we look through some highs and lows from that performance, as well as a look forward to the fixtures ahead... how many points do we want before Christmas? Plus, a word on Scott Parker - were the Cottagers motivated that little bit more because of his swift exit? And were they right to warn us about "Parkerball" given the fact we sat on our lead so soon after scoring? We've never seen so many fans hate on their previous manager so much, so much so we can currently hear the angry keystrokes from Putney all the way from Poole more than we could their fans on the night when we was there in person - there’s really a lot of bitterness there isn’t there? Sam and Tigz explore his tactics and the effect he has had on supporters of his former club. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. 140 - Two from Nine? Eek!

lundi 29 novembre 2021Durée 49:43

Cherries form recently hasn't been the best. With a loss at Derby, followed by a couple of frustrating draws where we've let the lead slip on both occasions, Boscombe are showing a vulnerability to their game which other teams are exploiting. Do a couple of injuries really upset the applecart that much? Apparently so! On this pod we take in some raw reaction from recent matches. Firstly, Sam Davis managed to grab some Cherries fans willing to react at full time, after watching their side capitulate in the second half against a determined Derby County side who overturned a half-time deficit to consign AFC Bournemouth to their first away defeat of the season. Later in the week, Bournemouth earned a draw at The Den on Wednesday night in a game of few chances against a Millwall side that was arguably looking the stronger as the game progressed. Despite Dom Solanke's first half opener, ex-Cherry Benik Afobe capitalised on defensive hesitancy to secure a point against the high-flyers. Tom and Sam spoke on the train on the way back... Plus, Tigz gauged the raw reaction at full time after Coventry City scored two late goals to deny ten-man AFC Bournemouth the chance to overtake Fulham at the top of the Championship... 139 - Bounce-back-ability? Check!

lundi 8 novembre 2021Durée 56:58

After Cherries suffered their first defeat of the season on Wednesday night against a stubborn and clinical Preston North End, all eyes were on the visit of Swansea on Saturday - with a reaction needed against a team that often provide us with a stiff test both home and away. In the weekend, the Lilywhites won 2-1, thanks to goals from Ben Whiteman and Ali McCann, which sandwiched a Philip Billing equaliser. The loss also brought Scott Parker's side's five-match winning run to an end and cut their lead at the top of the table to two points as his former club Fulham recorded an impressive 7-0 win at Blackburn. On Saturday though, Boscombe weathered an early spell of possession from the visitors to break them down with a Dom Solanke opener. But with Dom netting another, and Jaidon Anthony also popping up with a brace in the second half - Bournemouth increased the gap on third placed West Brom, who could only manage a score draw with Middlesbrough. On this pod, Sam Davis chats to Mr Tigz and Neil Dawson to discuss the game. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. 138 - Insert Biscuitmen Crumbling Pun Here...

mardi 2 novembre 2021Durée 01:10:51

Cherries carried on their unbeaten run at the weekend with Reading being the latest victim after a 2-0 win at the Madejski Stadium, one which had punmasters across the South scrabbling for Royals and Biscuit related jokes to jazz up their otherwise formulaic articles - Bournemouth start slow, Bournemouth get a foothold in the game, Bournemouth win the game... Join Sam Davis, Tom Jordan, Neil Dawson and Mr Tigz, as they take you through the weekend's action. Cherries were both resilient and then dominant at the Madejski Stadium with Dom Solanke and Jamal Lowe popping up with goals either side of half time, but at what cost does the victory come? With players hobbling off the pitch and plenty of early substitutions, how will this leave the side ahead of a tricky home test in the week against Preston? The show also includes a chat with League of 72's Simeon Ghloam and Cherries boss Scott Parker. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. 137 - Terrible Terriers Dom-inated at Dean Court

mardi 26 octobre 2021Durée 01:12:07

This weekend, Boscombe comprehensively took apart Huddersfield 3-0 at Dean Court, and as a result, Cherries sit atop the Championship, with a five point gap over Fulham. Bournemouth put in a shift, and Scott Parker’s class of 2021 have now equalled a long-standing club record as Dominic Solanke’s first-half double provided the springboard for a 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town. Victory, cemented by Lloyd Kelly’s first goal of the season, extended to 14 games the Cherries’ unbeaten start to the season, a feat achieved in 1961 when the club were in the third tier. Sam Davis, Tom Jordan, Neil Dawson and Mr Tigz take you through the weekend's action. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. 136 - A Cold & Rainy Tuesday Night In Stoke

mercredi 20 octobre 2021Durée 55:47

Sam Davis and Jeff Hayward spend just under an hour looking at two very different performances over the last few days as AFC Bournemouth gained maximum points from our trips to Bristol City and Stoke City. This includes a certain hat-tip to a reporter of the latter club, whose report on the game - it's fair to say - won't win any literary awards! Don’t let the result fool you, AFC Bournemouth absolutely annihilated Bristol City today in a performance which exuded control and class - as the Robins were beaten 2-0 at Ashton Gate, and with Dom Solanke being clinical at the Bet365 - it was six points from six on the road! There is stats, praise, and wonderment and ponderment - as Boscombe go clear at the top of the Championship - you love to see it! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms.
