072 Chef Lance Roll: Bone Broth

Saison 4 · Épisode 72

dimanche 2 juillet 2017Durée 45:21

www.AlternativeHealthTools.com

Chef Lance Roll says "Love is the ultimate spice."

Simple Bone Broth to AMAZING Bone Broth:

I get asked all the time, "how do I use this broth?" First, I want to state that we create all of our broths to medicinal quality using the traditional brewing method to ensure the highest nutrient density and the most delicious flavor. We like to call it what it is, a traditional sipping broth. That said, over the next few weeks I'll share my top favorite ways to use our very own bone broth. Each of the recipes to follow builds off the next and know that there are many variations according to your likes and dislikes.

Before we begin, a lot of you also wonder, "what time of day and how much should I consume?" Again, this is very subjective but it has been suggested that drinking broth in the morning is a great way to charge up your day. I like to have at least one cup of broth a day. The science also supports using the broth at night as the broth then gives the intestinal lining a nice coating of gelatin that can be effective in healing all sorts of gut issues. As the body rests and rejuvenates during sleep, the immune system within the gut is getting much needed nutrients and the collagen/gelatin is helping to heal the actual surface of the digestive system allowing for greater absorption of nutrients and overall healing!

Now let's ease into things with my first "recipe," The Basic Cup. To make The Basic Cup, simply use 8 - 10 ounces of your favorite flavor of The Flavor Chef Bone Broth, add a pinch of Real Salt, heat and enjoy! That was easy!

Of course, everyone has a preference for the type of salt they like. We like and use Real Salt. We just ask that you utilize a quality sea salt that contains a high concentration of naturally occurring minerals. This ensures the highest nutrient density and keeps in line with our real traditional and healing food mentality.

071 Dr. David: Discovering Your Magnificent Mind

Saison 4 · Épisode 71

samedi 24 juin 2017Durée 52:06

www.AlternativeHealthTools.com

Dr. David is an in-demand public speaker and can be found on stages and speaking at conferences, retreats and workshops across the United States and in Canada.

David draws from his nearly forty years of public service in three fields (law enforcement, priesthood and therapist) to inspire audiences large and small and show people how to realize the life of their dreams.

Dr. James has spoken to audiences as large as 10,000 people and conducts intimate retreats with as few as 15, but no matter the size, attendees report having a personal connection that stays with them long after the event concludes.

While a police officer he spoke to community and service groups, but his passion was addressing teens in packed-out auditoriums and encouraging them to reach their highest potential as member of society. From topics as diverse as drug-abuse awareness to enlisting them to build a more just and engaged community, David never failed to inspire young people to be their best.

As an Episcopal priest, David preached weekly in faith communities large and small to help people integrate their faith into their daily life. Preaching in small country churches and metropolitan cathedrals David used a combination of inspiration, humor and real-life stories to connect his audience with their own connection to Divinity.

From the early 90’s, David conducted interfaith retreats for men who were on the journey of becoming their most authentic self. Having published two books on the spiritual life of men, he spoke to the yearning of men who wanted to break free of the limiting culture landscape of contemporary masculinity.

For the past five years, David has been speaking about the power of our Magnificent Mind and has been a featured presenter at professional gatherings of physicians, therapists and social workers. His ability to communicate profound insights in a simple and engaging manner makes him a sought-after speaker on both the professional and inspirational circuit.

This Healthy smoothie should boost anyone's immune system and provide focus and energy throughout the day. 068 Stephanie Kato: Metaphysical Colon Hydrotherapy

Saison 4 · Épisode 68

lundi 22 mai 2017Durée 43:18

www.AlternativeHealthTools.com

Metaphysical colon hydrotherapy is a colonic style that I have created and named Iyasu, which means, “to heal” in Japanese. It takes traditional colon hydrotherapy a few steps further. Most colon therapists offer colonics with a focus on healing from a predominantly physical point of view – utilizing nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle changes to promote healing. Years ago, I began to realize when clients shared personal, emotional experiences with me during their sessions, their bodies opened up and released more physically. Consequently, I created a new way of offering colonics that incorporate the different aspects that make up the human experience of healing. I have been a Colon Hydrotherapist since 1996. Since that time, I came to believe that:

Our bodies are wise and will go to dysfunction. in order to set us up for our individual healing. To truly heal, we must feel.

By trusting the wisdom of our body and letting it guide us on our path, we can all heal. There may be many reasons, and at many levels, why we suffer. I believe that the origin of physical dysfunction can be traced to any combination of the following – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. If we perceive life from an unhealthy or unresolved perspective, we might end up with physical issues. Iyasu can offer perspectives to shift belief systems that might be keeping us ill. When we choose to see ourself, others, and situations in a different way, our body can shift into health. ~ Stephanie Kato
