What's up Dream Warriors! It's our last episode of 2024, and Marc had to jump on the Christmas Horror train with his pick of The Mean One from 2022. This is a parody horror of The Grinch, if you didn't already know, and it definitely had some decent moments but overall we were not a fan of this one. If you've seen it, give us your thoughts! 

We want to take this time to thank you all again from the bottom of our cold, Canadian hearts for 5 flippin years of support and we're so stoked to finish yet another year with you all!

Ho ho ho Dream Warriors! It's December and as always, that means Christmas Horror! This week we were joined by a first time guest, Brian from Reviewing History Podcast, to discuss the 2006 remake of Black Christmas! We can all agree this isn't a great movie but it IS great fun and we had an awesome time talking about it!

Whats up Dream Warriors! Join us this week as we discuss the absolute batshit crazy movie from 1989, Society! This was Brooke's pick and a first time watch for both of us, although it won't be a last watch for either of us. This movie was so off the rails in the last 30 minutes that it definitely deserves many rewatches.

Whats up Dream Warriors! It's March, which means we'll both be celebrating birthdays this month, so we wanted to have a fun month filled with something a little bit different. So without further adieu, we present you with our first episode of March Musicals, Corpse Bride! 

Put on your dancing shoes and join us while we discuss Tim Burton theories, beauty in death and a couple of added segments just for this month! 

What's up Dream Warriors! February is coming to an end and that can only mean one thing, it's time to wrap up our theme for the month of "crazy/scorned lovers". What better way to wrap up the month of love than with the best Valentine's Day horror movie out there...and it's remake! Thats right, this episode isn't only on one movie, but rather a comparison of the 2 movies and how they stack up to each other. Which movie won our hearts and which one did we maul with a pickaxe? You'll have to come join us in the Hannigar Mines to find out!

Whats up Dream Warriors! In our third week of crazy/scorned lovers we sit down with Jess from Horror Movie Crew to discuss her pick, The Crush. This was a first time watch for APOES and Jess definitely brought crazy to the table! This movie was filled with underage cringe that definitely wouldn't fly in this day and age but it all just helped us have a great discussion on a movie that helped skyrocket Alicia Silverstone to fame! More importantly though, we learned that we've been pronouncing Cary Elwes' name wrong for our entire lives.

We have one episode left to drop this month and it's going to be a doozy so make sure you tune in next week to hear us discuss My Bloody Valentine (1981) and it's 2009 remake! 

Whats up Dream Warriors! We asked for crazy lovers and ho-leeee cow did we ever get what we asked for with this one! Week 2 of our February theme of scorned/crazy lovers has us traveling along Route 666 with Mickey and Mallory Knox while they go in and out of jail, shoot up diners, get bitten by rattlesnakes and ultimately show us why they're "Natural Born Killers".

This movie had us confused 80% of the time and on the edge of our seats for the other 20%. One of us liked it, the other is still on the fence. But one thing we can both agree on, is that this movie is batshit crazy and honestly not what either of us expected!

What's up Dream Warriors! Love is in the air and blood is on the ground this month as we talk about scorned/crazy lovers all month long! Kicking off the month of love, we sit down and "dive" into 2002's teen thriller, Swimfan!

This movie did not hold up for us but we're curious to see if you, our listeners, agree that this was more of a belly flop?

What's up Dream Warriors! We're finally wrapping up our 7th Villain Faceoff (Annie Wilkes vs Asami Yamakazi) and we're joined by Felicia Conner from Two Chicks and A Horror Flick to decide who would come out victorious!

Who do you think would win? Annie's brute strength, or Asami's cunning charm and thirst for revenge? 

We all came into this episode with our own thoughts on Audition but as the conversation went on a few very interesting theories formed, which is one of the great things about this movie; it doesn't hold your hand with anything and it leaves so much room for individual interpretations. 

What's up Dream Warriors! This week we're coming at you with a violent, head banging, hardcore punk scene and fighting our way through the night with Green Room! This movie was released in 2015 and quickly became an adored movie in the horror community and one of our favourites of recent years.

It features blood, punk music, Nazis and heroine just like all of the best concerts we've ever been to! All joking aside, this movie is a wild ride from start to finish and we had a great time talking about it. So lace up the combat boots, make sure your guitars are out of tune and join us as we talk about this new age classic!

Remember, it's a movement. Not a party.
