12 Jul 2023 | Fucked Up in 20 Different Ways (w/ Jack Skelley) | 01:27:01
Jack Skelley is a writer and a poet that has been publishing books since the 1980s. His career began in the early '80s in LA when he worked at the Venice-based literary and arts center Beyond Baroque. Beyond Baroque was put on the map by Dennis Cooper who created a scene around it that included late poet and performance artist Bob Flanagan, the late conceptual artist Mike Kelley, the hilarious late poet Ed Smith, Guggenheim Fellowship winning poet Amy Gerstler, painter and novelist Benjamin Weissman, and Jack himself.
24 Jun 2024 | LARP LIFE (w/ Ben Werther) | 01:46:18
Ben Werther is a conceptual artist, born in Nashville and living in New York, whose new exhibition at No Gallery, “WHEN YOU CAN NO LONGER SPEAK, SING ME A SONG.” , presents a fascinating sequence of photographs that initially look like on the ground photojournalistic documents of armed combat. Upon further inquiry, however, you learn that these images were captured during Werther's attendance at a number of MilSim LARP rituals, in which Americans don military fatigues and arm themselves with airsoft rifles and pantomime military conflict. The exhibition also offers the work in book form, along with the cryptic writing of the artist complicating the images' meaning.

10 Jan 2024 | Poor Greek (W/Zane) | 01:34:35
Yorgos Lanthimos has not been a preferred filmmaker of the Safety Propaganda universe. Too self-consciously "weird". Too Letterboxd. His new film Poor Things, starring Emma Stone in a virtuosic performance as a young woman with the brain of an infant, is a comic masterpiece. Based on a story by surrealist Scottish author Alsadair Gray, 'Poor Things' is an absolute delight to watch. Riotously funny. A must-see.
13 Nov 2023 | Worshipping at the Alter of the Boul God (W/ Boul God Records) | 01:10:32
Boul God records is a Philadelphia-based bizarre music label that traffics in all manner of surreal and mind-bending contemporary styles of music. From the cavernous, early Death in June influenced post-punk/neofolk of Gorseddd FM, to the disorienting blend of head fucked techno and garbled BM vocals of Grail Wizard, to the brutal and frightening electronics of Incluse, to the dadaist, Kiwi-influenced fucked guitar pop of Flying Mausoleum , Boul God is less concerned with genre than it is the cultivation of an AESTHETIC and an atmosphere. You see, underground labels function best when they are approached as conceptual art projects. The best underground labels — Siltbreeze, Harbinger, Bunker Records, Darker than Black, Hospital Productions — understand this, and when we think of them we think of a certain aesthetic. Boul God is establishing itself upon that list.
06 Jan 2023 | Emperor Bezos (W/ Lev Parker) | 01:54:00
Old friend, colleague within the Counter-Agency of the Avant-Garde, and editor of Morbid Books Lev Parker stops by SOS by SP once more to discuss collaborating with Adam on the Morbid Books-published Safety Propaganda Manifesto for Conceptual Warfare. There is also much discussion about the absolute collapse of competence in the modern world, and the possibility that a Bezos emperorship might be the only thing that can make things work again. Finally, Lev talks about his collaborative musical and multimedia project with Saul from the Fat White Family: The Patheticist Manifesto.

21 Jul 2021 | An "UnWoke Racist Fantasia" (w/ Glen Rockney) | 01:48:13
Friend of the show and co-host of the Rare Candy podcast Glen Rockney joins the boys to discuss the career of who we think is the best American filmmaker to emerge in the 2010s, S. Craig Zahler. Discussing all three of his films — Bone Tomahawk, Brawl in Cell Block 99, and Dragged Across Concrete — the trio pinpoints the artistically interesting formal qualities that have separated Zahler from his contemporaries as one of the emerging film artists to celebrate: extreme length, genre subversion, hyperviolence, dialog, and more. They also try and parse Zahler's unique ideological viewpoint that seems to cross a Marxian critique of political economy with dissident right and conservative analysis of the lost values in American life. The career of Mel Gibson is also given the once-over.
We also briefly discuss the low energy cancellation of Dom Fernow. 25 May 2023 | Communication Medium (W/ Max Julian Eastman) | 01:22:25
Max Julian Eastman is a noise musician known for recording music under his own name and with projects like Greathumour and Tantric Death as well as the proprietor of what we consider to be one of the best American noise labels currently in existence. In contra to countless other labels that endlessly put out everything that comes out of "the scene", Max approaches Tribe Tapes with an aesthetic and conceptual theory. There is a general sense of discovery here, with reissues of artists that you certainly have never heard of, and a strong, unmistakable visual aesthetic. A welcome addition to the Counter-Agency of the Avant-Garde, indeed. Max discusses the label, his label's reissuing of classics from the late Marco Corbelli's Slaughter Productions label, the avant-garde and post-punk beginning of industrial and noise music, Smell and Quim, Atrax Morgue, the Haters, and much much more.

In our last main episode of 2021, we are joined by two great men, brothers, and creators of The Perfume Nationalist Jack and Ortant. What the fuck did we talk about? I don't know. Last year, Jack came on the show to discuss our favorite movies of 2020, but we didn't have that many great movies to talk about this year. So, compensating for the lack of good flicks, we talked about other shit. The three season arch of The Perfume Nationalist and the show's bravura third season finale with Zack and Amanda Milius. The long-coming schism in the Twitter sphere. Being a cult leader. Media soap opera narratives. Apoliticism collapsing beneath the weight of leftism. And more. Enjoy. 22 Nov 2021 | Collectin' Scalps with Stock Pt. 2: Cash Money Thousandaires (w/ Ben Morgan-Cleveland) | 01:13:51
In Alex Bienstock's second edition of his SOS side project, Collectin' Scalps with Stock, Alex and Adam converse with artist, curator, and former Real Fine Arts co-director Ben Morgan-Cleveland. For 10 years, Ben was the co-proprieter (alongside artist Tyler Dobson) of Real Fine Arts. Arguably the most interesting gallery in New York during the 2010s, Real Fine Arts helped launch the careers of friends of the show and great artists including Mathieu Malouf and Heji Shin, not to mention Sex Magazine editor Asher Penn, Sam Pulitzer, Nicolas Ceccaldi, Maggie Lee and many more. In his own work, Ben works in a vast array of media and consistently deconstructs the limits of the gallery space, whether it's making a "gallery of words" or exhibiting a massive, hand-built couch, this guy is always doing his damn thing! In this chat, the bros discuss the legacy of Real Fine Arts, Ben's work, and Adam and Ben's shared history of growing up art phag in suburban Massachusetts. Adam and Will are joined by friend Filthy Armenian in the wake of the release of his podcast Filthy Armenian Adventures's recent episode in which Armenian followed Adam around a tour of the New York art world recording the entire ordeal over five hours. It is a truly epic work of audio art, and Armenian's podcast to us represents an exciting new development in the form where a heaping of cinema verité style reportage bleeds into the restrictions of the audio format, creating a surrealist effect that makes for delightfully delirious listening. Due to the podcast discussions, this conversation steers towards the coterie of Twitter accounts that seem to orbit podcasts while claiming to never listen to them, and finally.... They talk about comedy. Armenian's work in stand-up, but moreover the death of humor. 29 Jul 2021 | They're All Gonna Fail (w/ Marc Horowitz) | 01:36:29
In this exclusive interview, Adam talks to California-based artist Marc Horowitz (husband to previous guest Petra Cortright, a kind of full circle) to talk about his career and his life. Marc grew up "poor as fuck" in Middle America before moving to California to get a degree in business. One thing leading to the next, Marc eventually transitioned to being an artist after taking a painting class during his senior year. The first half of his career saw Marc staging elaborate conceptual projects that forced the art world to confront its own financial and cultural contradictions. But at some point, painting called him back. Since then, Marc has developed his own singular aesthetic in painting that blends modernist history with pop cultural tropes. He's also a rad dude and a good gossip, so enjoy! Marc has a book coming out in the Fall, which will include a text written by your faithful host Adam Lehrer. When Miura died in 2021, he had just revealed that Berserk was more than half of the way complete and that he had the rest of the story plotted out. 17 Aug 2023 | PREVIEW The Death of a Socerer (W/ Bradford Kessler and Benjamin Kellogg) | 00:11:11
One of the greatest American film artists, William Friedkin, has passed away at the age of 87. The son of Ukrainian Jewish immigrant parents (who fled their country after the antisemitic pogroms of the early 20th Century), Friedkin was a shitty student and a great basketball player until he discovered cinema in the '60s. He then rose from a Hollywood journeyman doing shitty films for studios until it all came together with The French Connection and the greatest horror film of all time in The Exorcist. Friedkin would evolve from being the most celebrated auteur in America, to a scrappy indie arthouse director who warred with studios with financing, to an even scrappier arthouse auteur adapting transgressive plays in his later life. What. A. Fucking. Career.

Recently, however, Walter has gotten hella BASED! Off opiates, he felt serious discontent with the liberalism of the fashion industry. He has now been posting memes, throwing bombs, quoting Adam and Benedict Cryptofash, and brings a refreshing perspective to the System of Systems oeuvre. Bodybuilding seems to have reached its pinnacle, with Phil Heath being the champion who set the standard for what a bodybuilder should look like in the 2010s. Since then, conditioning has gone down hill, no one is getting in shape, and the one guy who does get in shape (Nick Walker) was injured right before the show, tragically. To discuss all of this, Adam brings on music producer and bodybuilding enthusiast Laje Amare and competitive bodybuilder William Landry. Note: I fully understand that most of our audience will have no fucking clue what we are talking about. Accept it as a good bit of provocateur theater FULL LINK Soundtrack: Rasputin's Stash "Take me on Back" God's Gift "These Days" Kreator "Blind Faith" Monkey 101 "French Feelings" Unit Black Fight "Imprint Manifestation" Links:

05 Jul 2021 | Martin, Into the Corner (featuring Gio Pennacchietti) | 01:46:04
The boys are joined by friend, artist, writer and co-host of the Break the Rules Podcast Gio Pennacchietti to discuss PAINTING. Painting, so much and so little to say. Its history, its dreary present. The tendency towards what Dean Kissick calls "zombie figuration" and what separates the brilliance of Matthew Barney from the average new media artist. But mostly, we discuss four artists to emerge out of postmodernism or later that we believe are upholding some nobler archetype of the painter historically: Anselm Kiefer, Justin Mortimer, Martin Kippenberger, and Michael Krebber.

02 Dec 2021 | The Jouissance of the Micro-Cop UNLOCKED (w/ Nina Power and Lev Parker) | 01:42:30
In this new episode, Morbid Books editor and writer Lev Parker joins the show for the second time, this time bringing along none other than the divine philosopher and poet Nina Power, who of course just wrote a beautiful afterword for Adam's new book 'Communions'. A wide variety of topics are addressed, from the middle class tendency towards being a micro-cop, to gender extremism, to the role for art against such dismal sociopolitics. Gary Beauvais is a Michigan based artist and musician who has been recording beneath the name Mammal since the beginning of the '00s. This year, however, he released a new album called Deserted. I shit you not, this is one of the best records of the year. Haunting and emotive.

09 Jan 2023 | PREVIEW Attacking the Castle from Within (W/ BILLY CORGAN) | 00:21:31
Around August of 2022, Adam opened up his email to find what was a message of profound encouragement, and could hardly believe it when it was addressed from "William Patrick Corgan," otherwise known as the frontman of Adam's first ever favorite band The Smashing Pumpkins. But that's exactly who it was. Billy had read Adam's 2021 book 'Communions' and, from there, a creative camaraderie developed.

Artist/philosopher/mathematician Eric Schmid and artist, researcher, and member of industrial music collective Ono Connor Tomaka join SOS by SP. We discuss Connor and Eric's recent collaborative essay on Dimes Square, in my mind the only one of many Dimes thinky pieces to get it right, as well as the connections between mathematics and art, Reza, Brassier, the state of noise music, Shadow Ring covers, Fassbinder, and a whole lot more... 23 Dec 2023 | Kanye Versus the Vultures (w/ Matthew Denicola) | 01:50:12
Kanye is trying to release a new record, Vultures, with Ty Dolla $ign, and his enemies are refusing to get its samples cleared, leaving the record unreleased. Kanye, of course, isn't staying quiet about what's happening behind the scenes, and treated the world to a 15 minute rant against his many enemies, ranging from LVMH CEO Bernard Arnaut, the Rothschilds, Jay-Z, and Drake among them, as well as the abandonment of the family that has left him adrift. It's powerful stuff, and of course he isn't exactly taking it easy on Zionists either.
28 Aug 2023 | PREVIEW New Millennium Men (w/ Alex Kazemi) | 00:43:35
Writer Alex Kazemi wrote his first novel, Your Truly, Brad Sela, back in 2013 when he was only 19-years-old. In a true time capsule of the 2010s, Alex published an excerpt of that manuscript on his Tumblr page, and it exploded. He got 132,000 views and signed a book deal with MTV Books. For whatever reason or another, the book didn't come out when it was planned for. Instead, Alex embarked on several interesting projects in the media: contributing to magazines such as The Observer, Dazed and Autre, working as managing editor at Prim Magazine, releasing a series of video ads for Marilyn Manson, and founding the Advisor which collected letters contemporary male icons to young men, with contributions from heroes like Richard Kern, Bruce LaBruce, and Moby.
27 Aug 2022 | Immersed in Death (W/ Worth) | 01:21:26
Adam speaks with American harsh noise master Worth, aka William Van Gorder, who has a new record on White Centipede Noise called Sacred Violence Noise. Will recorded the album while on residency in Thailand, and throughout the conversation relays the experiences he had there and in his Southeast Asia journey more broadly. What is it like to make noise for an audience that has no fucking clue what is happening? MAGIC! Duh. Talking about Thailand and Southeast Asia leads these two artists to discussion of another shared interest: writer New Juche. Juche is also an artist who finds transcendence in beauty in abjection and decay – the decay of the Southeast Asian landscape, and the abjection in his own perverse sexual habits.
21 Jan 2022 | Cinema of Transgression (PREVIEW) (w/ Michael M. Bilandic) | 01:18:02
Adam and filmmaker Michael M. Bilandic have been mutuals on social media for a little while now, but it wasn't until Mubi recently made Michael's films available on its streaming platform that Adam found himself burning through Michael's work and was thoroughly impressed. A frustrated artist exploits a rural horrorcore group in 'Hellaware', a raving delivery man accidentally kills a famous client in 'Jobe'z World', a performance artist locks himself in a cell as the Floyd riots rage outside in last year's 'Project Space 13'; while taking place in a tightly contained and well-crafted cinema universe, Michael's films mirror the reality of living in the contemporary culture industries to an uncanny degree. Michael joins Adam and Will here to discuss not only his own films, but also Adam and Michael's shared love of Nick Zedd and the Cinema of Transgression, Michael's time working at legendary defunct East Village shop Kim's Video and Music, the crypto-transgression of Todd Phillips and 'Joker', and Bilandic's work with film art icon Abel Ferrara. SOUNDTRACK: Young Torture Killaz "Cut Yo Dick Off" LINKS:
25 Feb 2022 | PREVIEW Disney Land Death Penalty (w/ Rob Doyle) | 00:18:14
We are joined by Irish novelist Rob Doyle, who is now best known for his work of delirious auto-fiction Threshold, a series of vignettes documenting the writer's drug usage and travels, and more recently Autobibliography (2021), which collects various essays on books that Rob has held closely throughout his career and becomes a kind of memoir told through the books that made him: Marcus Aurelius, Houellebecq, Nietzsche, the Tibetan Book of the Dead, and more. Rob is currently posted up in Sinagapore on a residency, and tells us about the bizarrely functional control society that the city has become. LINKS: Rob at Twitter: @RobDoyle1
26 Jul 2022 | Ready to Fight (W/ Udith Dematagoda) | 01:29:30
Writer, Hyperidean Press publisher, and Adam's editor Udith Dematagoda joins the show once more. This time we're discussing the cultural resonance of Fight Club over 25 years down the line, and the importance of revolutionary violence to the masculine psyche. Other topics include the mindblowing year for American indie film that was 1999, Ukraine, why BAP is the Rob Halford of pseudo-philosophy, and some other shit. SOUNDTRACK: LINKS:

25 May 2021 | The Impulse to Go Kamikaze (w/ Angie Speaks) | 01:23:19
After a host of media hacks are deployed to fear monger the specter of the post-left, Angie Speaks of the Low Society podcast joins the boys to discuss the histrionics of the pseudo-dissidents, lies, smears, cruelty, the kayfabe, and internet censorious fervor. The temporal loop continues spinning. There is also discussion on religion, spirituality, the occult, christianity, paganism, and David Lynch. We also talk about the divinely kooky Nikole-Hannah Jones' denial of tenure, and the media libs' reaction to it. Links: Low Society: https://soundcloud.com/low-society
06 Nov 2023 | And Usually Just a Syringe (with Conor Tomaka) | 01:14:13
Artist, musician, academic, and member of legacy American experimental band ONO Conor Tomaka joins the show once more, but with a specific purpose this time around. John Frusciante is already a God-level figure in the oeuvre of Safety Propaganda, but this time we are going back to the virtuoso guitarist of the Chili Peppers and experimental solo artist's infamous and masterful first two albums: Niandra Lades and Usually just a T-Shirt and Smile from the Streets you Hold.

18 Apr 2023 | UNLOCKED Attacking the Castle from Within (W/ BILLY CORGAN) | 01:50:32
Now, Billy is on SOS by SP and completing the circle. Here, the icon of rock discusses fatherhood, the experience of being at the zeitgeist only to watch the zeitgeist fracture and tether, the new Smashing Pumpkins album Atum and the podcast that Billy has used to launch each of its track in its three-part rock opera song cycle, Judas Priest, the Scorpions, attacking the castle from within, AND MORE!!
28 Jun 2023 | Probable Mossad (W/ Thomas Moore and Audrey Szasz) | 02:01:56
Writers Audrey Szasz and Thomas Moore have both just released new novels for Philip Best's Amphetamine Sulphate. Audrey's novel is called Counterillumination, a wildly psychedelic collection of prose where agents and counter-agents wage psychological warfare upon one another against an abstract dystopic landscape. It's rather hard to describe so I suggest you just read it. Thomas's new book is Your Dreams – perhaps the author's best exploration of the human need for connection and understanding with a protagonist forced to come to terms with a friend's disturbing desires.

14 Oct 2021 | Many Taints (w/ Blauergeist!) | 01:24:08
System of Systems, at long last, is back. First things first, Ben AKA the Perpetual Self Optimizer is no longer the producer/co-host, and we want to thank him for all the great work done on this program. Replacing him is none other than former guest Will Samson, who takes over production duties and second mic. Welcome him! In our first episode back, we have Ellroy Boys co-host and Apocalypse Confidential editor Blauergeist! specifically to take on the colossal disaster that is The Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints of Newark. Somehow, as bad as this film could be (cheesy as fuck casting, thin plot, aesthetically flat and gross) it's somehow so, so, so much worse. It's the kind of spinoff film that complicates the entire legacy of its source material. The great work of American pop art reduced to a shitty, faux edgy dirtbag leftist meme. 26 Jun 2022 | Charlie Sheen's Trigger Threshold (w/ Will Sheldon) | 01:29:56
Adam and Will are joined by New York-based artist and tattooer Will Sheldon. Will discusses his work with us: paintings and drawings of fantastical and fairy tale imagery but with a uniquely troubling and dark iteration fitting for our times. Will is also a tattooer and in contra to others working between the art world and tattoo culture (others typically tend to make clear distinction between the craft of tattooing and high art OR end up making tattooish art work) manages to create a clear communicative language between art and tattoos. We discuss this idiosyncrasy, Will's recent exhibitions, Will's recent collaborative book with British writer Charlie Fox, Hans Bellmer, and a shared appreciation for manga artist and filmmaker Hideshi Hino and Charlie Sheen's issues with Hino. Enjoy. SOUNDTRACK: LINKS:

16 Nov 2021 | Janie Got a Gun (KYLE IS INNOCENT) (w/ Janie) | 01:19:04
In this episode, we are joined by Janie, a young poet operating in the realm of Substack and a young singer who recently started posting songs to a Soundcloud page. We discuss poetry here, mostly, everything from Robert Desnos to Ghostface Killah to John Asheberry to Darby Crash, and try and ponder a role for poetry in liquid modernity. Adam also expresses disgust over the politicization of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, and can't believe the erosion of due process that has been leveled at an innocent young man who defended himself against violent assailants. As many listeners/readers might already know, Adam's favorite musician of all time is John Frusciante. Thus, when the guitarist re-joined Red Hot Chili Peppers for the SECOND TIME, he has left the band twice now (once in 2009 and once in 1993), he was elated. Now, the Chi Peps are back in their true form with their first record featuring John on guitar since their magnum opus double album Stadium Arcadium in 2007. Does it stack up to the band's masterpieces? To investigate, we brought on illustrator Joel Jensen and Rare Candy co-host Glen Rockney. LINKS RHCP Unlimited Love

Cliff Sargent runs the very popular Youtube literary show Better than Food where he offers his candid thoughts on the books he reads. He has excellent taste, and is capable of communicating his thoughts in a refreshingly legible manner: Bataille, Clarice Lispector, Cormac McCarthy and even Adam have all been reviewed on his show (and his influence is proven by the spike in book sales Communications enjoyed following his review.) Here, Adam and Cliff talk about Bataille, books, black metal, bodybuilding, and more, baby! Always more. Damen Corrado is a Chicago-based writer and actor with old school links to Adam Parfrey and the broader American underground. In 2019, the late Parfrey's Feral House publishing imprint published a book co-written by Damen and James "Jinx" O'Connor. Entitled Compliments of Chicagohoodz: "A rare, private collection of photos, calling cards, and ephemera serves that analyzes the unique visual language and graphics of Chicago’s gangs, drawing upon decades of interviews, documentation, and collecting of memorabilia, and featuring commentary from gang members and Chicago artists."
16 Jul 2024 | PREVIEW Bending the Knee to Luke Turner in 2024 | 00:03:42
Adam explains his experiences as a contributor of Compact Magazine, how it was pitched to him versus what the magazine has become, based around the recent resigning of friend of the show Nina Power as an editor of the project after Luke Turner leaked private communications between her and former guest Daniel Miller that were presented as evidence during their legal battle with the sociopathic British artist Turner.. Hate to have to be acknowledging Luke Turner in 2024, but that's where we are. SOUNDTRACK
05 Jul 2022 | Not Human (PREVIEW) (W/ Madeline Kuzak) | 00:11:36
Prior to the day of our independence, Adam calls up his friend, the artist from Detroit and soon to move to New York Madeline Kuzak. Maddie works in painting and illustration, as well as performance and more conceptual driven work. When Adam introduced his theory of Crytographic Transgressive art in in Amphetamine Sulphate's 'Human Rights' anthology, Maddie was one of the artists he used to bolster his concept. Maddie's work is cloaked in the tropes of femininity, and feminist curators are often all too enthusiastic to drag her work into their theories. But there is actually a very interesting subversion going on here, where the theme of female victimhood is constantly being deconstructed and challenged. 05 Sep 2023 | At the Wall of Transgression: A Whitehouse Retrospective (W/ Xylon Otterburn) | 01:51:52
Adam has been re-reading David Keenan's historical biography on the rise of Industrial Music, England's Hidden Riverse, after it was re-published with extended material over the summer. That book primarily looks at the rise and legacies of Coil, Nurse with Wound, and Current 93 (and suspiciously, only passingly mentions Douglas Pearce and Death in June.) There is also, however, a plethora of material dedicated to William Bennett and what led the British artist to create the pioneering power electronics project Whitehouse. Formed by Bennett in 1980 and joined by Philip Best in the '80s and Peter Sotos in the '90s, Whitehouse developed both the sound (throbbing bass, ear searing and abused synths, washed out white noise, brutal and screamed vocals) and content (power, abuse, serial murder, war crimes) of the style that we now call power electronics. Though PE has since given us several iconic artists and acts — Con-Dom, Grey Wolves, Genocide Organ, and Ramleh among them — there is still something about the conceptual rigor, thematic depth, and historical mythos of Whitehouse that makes the group an enduringly fascinating area of study. To discuss the legacy of Whitehouse as well as the philosophy and history of industrial music, Adam and Will converse with friend and noise musician Xylon Genesis Otterburn, back for the second time on the show.

15 Jun 2021 | The Death Mask of Art (W/ DC Miller) | 01:58:41
A long sought-after guest joins System of Systems to discuss a number of artistic, philosophical, and political topics. Adam and the writer, critic and philosopher DC Miller became internet-linked after Adam demonstrated public interest in DC's writing. The result was that Adam was fired from The Quietus, where he wrote a regular column on the noise music underground and critical theory, and lost a number of other writing contracts. How did DC become such a controversial figure? Well, it mostly stems from the extreme Antifa-led overreaction to the now defunct British gallery LD50 and its 2017 exhibition that examined the imagery of what was then being called the alt-right and hosted talks by thinkers like Nick Land and Brett Stevens. DC heroically defended the gallery's right to tackle sensitive ideas and art. For that commitment to freedom of expression and fundamental enlightenment values, DC lost all of his positions in the art world. Seemingly overnight, he went from a known regular art critic for Frieze and Art Monthly to persona non grata. But we believe that DC is among the most misunderstood thinkers and creative people currently in the discourse. Though Adam and DC do have some differences in their view points, they also agree on a lot, specifically when it comes to diagnosing what is WRONG in our culture. In this chat, DC and Adam discuss art, psyops, the left, the elite, and recent work by the writer. DC recently wrote a response article to the essay that Adam published, 'Marxist Defends the Great Reactionaries,' that will be also published by American Greatness soon. DC is now publishing regularly on his Substack, is a contributing editor to im1776, and also publishes with The Conservative Woman. Enjoy the show!
