| Ep 169: Breaking Free from Pride, Awareness of God's Boundaries, and Biblical Humility with Joel Muddamalle | 26 Aug 2024 | 00:46:13 | |
Has pride ever impacted your life? Ready to recognize and address hidden pride in your heart?
Bible teacher, theologian, author, podcaster, book coach, husband and father of four, Dr. Joel Muddamalle and I discuss the profound topics of humility and pride. Dr. Joel shares his personal journey, revealing how a humiliating childhood experience shaped his understanding of humility and its significance. He explains that biblical humility is rooted in recognizing God and our true identity as His royal children. Pride, on the other hand, is the elevation of self, leading to chaos and confusion. Dr. Joel emphasizes that humility acts as a protection, prevention, and preservation, and that curiosity without limits can be destructive.
The conversation shifts to the crucial role of boundaries and limits in the context of curiosity and desire. Dr. Joel explains how God established boundaries in the pre-fallen world to safeguard Adam and Eve from self-destruction. He clarifies that limits are not punitive but rather a means to prevent us from becoming enslaved to unholy desires.
Dr. Muddamalle also explores the concept of hidden pride, which can corrupt the fruit of the Spirit and lead to destructive behavior. He highlights the importance of humility in overcoming pride and accepting our limits and weaknesses.
Key Points:
Humility: A foundational understanding rooted in recognizing God and our identity as His children.
Pride: The elevation of self, leading to chaos and confusion.
Boundaries and Limits: Essential for protecting us from self-destruction and enslavement to unholy desires.
Hidden Pride: A subtle form of pride that can corrupt the fruit of the Spirit.
The Power of Humility: Overcoming pride, accepting limits, and embracing our weaknesses.

| Ep 168: Building Confidence, Making Aligned Decisions, and Embracing the Unexpected with Stephanie May Wilson | 19 Aug 2024 | 00:32:19 | |
Do you feel overwhelmed and unsure of how to create a life that you love? Are you ready to take small steps to make it happen?
My friend Stephanie May Wilson, a writer, speaker, and podcaster, and I talk about the unique challenges and pressures women face in their 20s and 30s, a time Stephanie calls the "everything era." This is a period marked by significant life decisions, societal expectations, and a whole lot of figuring it out.
Stephanie shares her own experiences navigating this tricky terrain and offers some valuable takeaways:
Embrace the Power of Choice: The 'everything era' is YOUR time to take the reins and create the life YOU want. It's about aligning your decisions with your values, even when those values don't always align with traditional expectations.
Transition to the "I Get to Create It Now Era": Life throws curveballs. Embrace those detours as opportunities for personal growth and course correction. Each challenge is a chance to refine your vision and build the life you love.
Don't Be Afraid of Disagreements: Navigating this phase can lead to conflicts with loved ones, especially when it comes to life choices. Use these disagreements as opportunities for open communication and mutual understanding.
Listen in as Stephanie shares her personal journey of embracing the "I get to create it now era" and how a move to Spain opened up a whole new chapter of her life.

Quote
The 'everything era' is a time of uncertainty and pressure to figure out life.
Takeaways
The 'everything era' refers to the period in a woman's life, typically in her 20s and 30s, when she is making significant life decisions and facing societal pressures.
It's important to define what success and happiness mean to you personally, rather than conforming to societal expectations.
The transition from the 'everything era' to the 'I get to create it now era' is a defining moment for personal growth and decision-making.
You have the power to decide how you want to live your life and make choices that align with your values and desires.
When life doesn't go as expected, you have options: you can quit, keep moving forward, change tactics, or ask for help.
Surround yourself with a supportive inner circle who can provide guidance and advice, but ultimately trust yourself to make the best decisions for your life.
Creating a life you love may involve making intentional decisions that fit for a season but may not be permanent.
Taking control of your own life and making decisions that align with your values and desires can lead to personal fulfillment and happiness.

| Ep 70: How To Not Be Basic - Thoughts on Holiness with Jackie Hill Perry | 10 Feb 2022 | 00:30:39 | |
Welcome to our LAST episode of season 4! Today, thanks to the help of author, poet, and Bible teacher Jackie Hill Perry, we are going to talk about moving from basic to holy. In short, holiness is doing things that please God. It’s what you do with your time and your actions. It is living to please God—and it bears fruit!
You live holy because you are motivated by your relationship with and love for your heavenly Father. Of all the goals we have for our life, the most important is to pursue holiness because it is God’s goal for our life. If we truly love God we will commit to making holiness the primary purpose of our life.
I was excited to have JHP on the show. As always, I LOVE giving away some of my favorite resources to podcast listeners. When you share this podcast on social media and tag @jackiehillperry and @biancaolthoff to be entered to win one of five books from her newest book, Holier Than Thou.

| Ep 68: Love Is Series - Communication In The Nation | 29 Jan 2022 | 00:10:34 | |
Hi Friends! Today is the final episode of Love Is, a six-day podcast special about love, dating and sex. We've delved into defining love, singleness, dating, sex, intimacy and we're closing out with a conversation about communication.
Communication is a crucial component in having a healthy relationship and it's something that not everyone is well versed in. So many people, both men and women struggle to vocalize their desires or even ask for clarity. This can come down to different factors such as our culture, history, psychology or simple insecurity.
Wouldn't it be nice if we had permission to say everything that we wanted? Well, we do! And you know I'm going to back it up with some Bible. One of my favorite Bible characters is Ruth, and when it came to her relationship with Boaz, she was smart, she was direct, she was clear.
My hope is that after listening to this episode, you'll know how to have a DTR aka defining the relationship talk. We're going to learn how to have a DTR, when to have a DTR and also how NOT to have a DTR.
Don't forget to share this podcast and the Love Is resources with your friends, community group and family. You can tag me @BiancaOlthoff to let me know all of the lessons you've learned about love and relationships.
May you live and walk in love.

| Ep 67: Love Is Series - Intimacy: Into Me, You See | 28 Jan 2022 | 00:11:33 | |
Hi Friends! Welcome back to day five of Love Is, a six-day podcast special about love, dating and sex. In today's episode, we're going to be talking about intimacy which is a crucial part of building a healthy, loving relationship.
Intimacy can be described as close familiarity or friendship, or as my dad would say "into me, you see". It's a way of getting to know someone and as a by-product, building a deeper level of love and relationship.
While many would say that intimacy is about sex and physicality, it's much more than that. It's spiritual, emotional and mental too. Practicing strong boundaries and using wisdom is the key when getting to know someone romantically.
We're going to unpack practical tools on how to build intimacy over time. I'll also be sharing my No Go Bro list. These guidelines can be used as a reference point when getting to know a potential mate. (Think of them like handy red flags to look out for!)
I hope you've found this series helpful in your pursuit of love and building healthy, whole relationships. Tag me @BiancaOlthoff and let me know what you've learned from the series. You can also share this resource online and with your friends or small group.

| Ep 66: Love Is Series - The Sex Talk | 27 Jan 2022 | 00:30:15 | |
Friends, welcome to day four of Love Is, a six-day podcast special about love, dating and sex.
We're REALLY going there in today's episode as I'll be giving you the sex talk... yes, really! This conversation is for grown folks, so listener discretion is advised.
This topic is something I'm passionate about as far too often the church doesn't speak about it. Instead, we let culture and media define what sex is and how it should look, which often leads to hurt and can create all sorts of problems. When sex is fulfilled within the covenant of marriage, it's a beautiful and wonderful experience that honors God. If you're looking for some Bible to back it up, just read Song of Solomon aka Song of Songs. (Helloooo!)
My heart and my hope is that as you listen to this session you'll begin to see sex from God's perspective. It doesn't have to be a difficult, awkward or taboo topic of conversation.
If you've found this episode helpful, share it with your friends! Don’t forget to post it on social media and tag me @BiancaOlthoff.

| Ep 65: Love Is Series - How To Date | 26 Jan 2022 | 00:14:07 | |
Hey Friends! Welcome back to day three of Love Is, a six-day podcast special about love, dating and sex.
Today's conversation is centered around dating, we'll discuss how to date well and also define what dating actually is. Dating is a largely American concept and has evolved over time. With today's standard for dating being open for interpretation, it can be hard to define a romantic relationship.
Culture's definition of dating can be seen as anything from hooking up to being in a long-term relationship, but what does the Bible have to say on the topic? While it doesn't specify how to date, the Bible talks A LOT about how we should treat others and how to interact with the opposite sex.
Once our understanding is rooted in Scripture, we can define how to date well, which I like to call intentional dating. This may sound intimidating, so I've created a strategy to help you as you date with intention.
The strategy for intentional dating looks like:
1. Intentionality
2. Clarity
3. Strategy
4. Timely
I hope this provides clarity on such a huge topic and that you feel confident to date well. Don't forget to share this podcast with your friends, post it on your social media and you can tag me @BiancaOlthoff.

| Ep 64: Love Is Series - Single Ready To Mingle? | 25 Jan 2022 | 00:12:13 | |
Friend, are you single, like a pringle and ready to mingle? If so, this episode is for you!
Welcome back to day two of Love Is, a six-day podcast special about love, dating and sex. In today's episode, we're going to talk about singleness and how it can be an asset as you serve God and prioritize yourself.
When I was single people would always share some platitude with me about being patient and waiting for "the one" to come my way. Worse yet, they would treat my singleness as if it were a waiting room and that I was trying to get cured of my disease of singleness.
While I wanted someone to do life with, I wasn't waiting around for a man to complete me, I'd already been transformed by Jesus. Marriage isn't a guarantee for everyone, so, it's important to focus on yourself and realize the fullness of who God made you to be. During your season of singleness, you can maximize your kingdom impact, travel the world, figure out your purpose and so much more.
Our Savior, Jesus Christ, demonstrated the power of a life of singleness. And remember, you don't need a significant other to be significant.
If this podcast has been an asset or a resource for you, send it to your friends, post it on social media and tag me @BiancaOlthoff because sharing is caring.

I learned about four main stages to developing an idea. They are: preparation, incubation, illumination and lastly, verification. While things may not always work out in this exact linear order, you can use this as a roadmap for your creative journey. It offers a direction if not a destination. The most important thing to remember is that everyone’s creative process looks slightly different. Mine looks more like a zig-zag or a spiral than a straight line. Throughout our conversation, you’ll hear about Jeremy’s creative process and how he tends to break a lot of the creative rules.
I would love to hear about your art and creativity. Will you do me a favor? Send me a visual clue that you are participating in this creative process. Take a picture of your art, song lyrics, poem or business plan and tag us @BiancaOlthoff and @JeremyCampOfficial.
And, if you love the creativity that comes through the art of podcasting, don’t forget to leave a positive review for this show so that we can reach more ears around the world.
Love you,
🖤

| Ep 61: Transformation In The Nation with John Mark Comer | 13 Jan 2022 | 00:50:08 | |
Hello Friends! Something we often think about at the top of the year is transformation. This is the process of changing our lives around for the better. In today’s episode, I’ll be chatting with author, teacher, and preacher John Mark Comer about something that is crucial for the development of our souls, hearts, and minds: spiritual transformation.
This is achieved through disciplines that align us to God so that we can do his will and work for our lives. Biblically speaking, some of the ways to practice and grow in your faith include reading Scripture, prayer, community, fasting, confession, submission, worship, and celebration.
This topic of conversation is a bit like quinoa… Perhaps you’ve never tried the tasty, protein-packed superfood. But once you try quinoa (or spiritual disciplines), you’ll see that it’s good for your soul. Trust me.
Spiritual transformation cannot be accomplished by our own efforts. However, we do participate in the process by partnering with God. While these aren’t a quick fix for your spirituality, if you create intentional habits and practices, you will find yourself closer to God and more spiritually empowered.
If you eat quinoa this week, snap a photo and tag me @BiancaOlthoff so I can celebrate how quinoa is transforming our bodies and how @JohnMarkComer is transforming our minds.
Love you!

| Tuesday Truths: Get Back To God | 11 Jan 2022 | 00:03:28 | |
No matter how far away you feel from God today, there's a pathway back to him. Here are three things we can do to get back to God: 1) realize we need to change, 2) own up to our sin, and 3) give up control.
True transformation happens when our hearts move from self-centeredness to God-centeredness. When you seek God seriously, you will not be disappointed.

I have this reminder to give to you, God made you to be you. Let Him determine your identity.
The Bible says, our purpose is to please God not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts. Fulfill the plan that God has for your life, not somebody else’s. That is real success.

| Ep 59: BONUS What To Do When Your Plans Change with Bianca Juarez Olthoff | 23 Dec 2021 | 00:15:13 | |
Hi friends! As we reach the end of 2021, many of us have had to face something that we didn’t plan for. Things have gone a little bit different than you might have thought, and you've had, what I call, a change of plans.
Facing things that we didn't plan for can be jarring and can even rattle our faith. Sometimes we wonder why things aren’t going as planned and even wonder where God is.
When we don’t know what is going on, we must hold on to what we know to be true: Though your plan may have changed, your purpose hasn’t. God has a purpose for you. The reason Jesus came to earth was for you. I want you to plant this truth in your heart.
Let me know how your plans have changed and where you see God show up in this season. You can tag me @BiancaOlthoff on your posts and also share this podcast with your friends and family. If this show is something you like, leave a rating and review so it can get into more ears around the world.

| Ep 57: Word Of The Year with Bianca Juarez Olthoff | 09 Dec 2021 | 00:21:16 | |
Friends, when I think about the end of the year, I want to ensure that we’re setting ourselves up for a strong year to come. One of the practices I've developed in my life is finding a word or phrase for the year.
Today I want to walk you through my process on how I find a word for the following year. There's nothing mystical or magical about this process, it's a guide to help you through not just daily or weekly activities, but to set an intention for the year. This one word will help center you when life gets crazy or you feel you’ve lost your way or your convictions.
Three steps to follow are:
Pause
Think
Create a List
If you don't have a word for the year yet, I really encourage you to make time and really go through the process. When you get your word, I’d love to know what it is! You can tag me @BiancaOlthoff on your posts or you can share this podcast with your friends and family and do this activity together.
As always, I’m honored to create content that I believe will shape and shift your life. If this show is something you like, will you consider rating and reviewing it so it can get into more ears around the 🌏? It would mean the world to me.
Love you, friends!

| Tuesday Truths: Are You A Cup or A Straw | 07 Dec 2021 | 00:02:40 | |
What God gives to you, he wants to give through you. God is looking for people He can use. Will you be a cup or will you be a straw? If you're a cup, you just get filled up and that's it. But when you’re a straw God can channel His blessing through you to other people.
When you're going through a tough time you still can say: God I don't have much but I'm willing to share. When you do this, God promises three things; first - you will grow spiritually, second - He will use you to meet the needs of other people, and third - you'll bring Him glory.
When you give away what you have, God will open the door of blessings in your life in ways you can’t imagine.

| Ep 56: Strength, Grace and Courage with Madison Prewett | 02 Dec 2021 | 00:42:40 | |
Hello friends! Today’s conversation is around pop culture. Why do many Christians want to shy away from this topic? I want to jump in and have a conversation about it. Why? Well call me crazy, but I believe that everything including culture is covered by God's control and love otherwise known as this word sovereignty.
The guest on today's show was by far one of my favorite stars from ABC's TV show The Bachelor. Madison Prewett shares how the ancient story of Esther is still relevant today and how some of those parallel lessons she’s adopted in her own life help her navigate her journey, such as:
Decide who you want to be before you step into your Big Moments
Claim your confidence so you can get out of the comparison game
Break free from the labels others put on you
As always, I love letting our guests know the impact that they're having. And so it would mean the world to me if you share the love. You can tag her @MadiPrew and @BiancaOlthoff and let us know what you're learning. Also share and leave a positive review on Spotify, Apple Podcast or whatever platform you listen to your podcast.

| Ep 55: Contentment and Gratitude: I Want What I Have with Bianca Juarez Olthoff | 23 Nov 2021 | 00:26:10 | |
Friends, I love Thanksgiving! It's my favorite holiday. So today you have a chance to embrace gratitude and it is a way to get through this season with true JOY.
But let's get real, who is responsible for your gratitude? It’s not your boss, your spouse, your kids, your pastor, or your friend. YOU are responsible for your gratitude. I’ve learned one definition of thankfulness that I love. It is: WANTING WHAT I HAVE. Thankful people want what they have. Let’s be content with what we have. Contentment is saying “I don't need it because I don't have it.” I have a loving Father who gets me every good thing that I need.
I want you to join me and make this commitment this week and you can carry it through ‘till Christmas and onto the New Year:
Every day make a list of at least six things for what you're grateful for
Then two times during the day you share it with someone that you are thankful for
I’m grateful for you, friends. You’ve made my list today and I’m sharing it with you. My hope and my prayer as we go into this holiday season is that you are content with what God has given you.
Share this episode on social media and tag me @BiancaOlthoff. I can't wait to chat next week!

| Ep 54: The Best “Hood” Is Fatherhood with Stephen Kendrick | 18 Nov 2021 | 00:41:11 | |
Hello friends! Fathers play a role in every child’s life that cannot be filled by others. This role can have a large impact on a child and help shape them into the person they become. On today’s show, we have Stephen Kendrick, writer, producer, and director of popular films like Fireproof, Courageous, War Room, and Overcomer to discuss the recent documentary on fatherhood entitled SHOW ME THE FATHER. This documentary weaves four real-life fathering stories, providing an inspiring and hope-filled reminder of the importance of fathers in families and society.
Friends, I know the topic of fatherhood might be hard for some to digest. So thank you for listening. My heart in doing this interview is that even if you don’t have a father present in your life, you might come to know your heavenly Father who loves you, fights for you, and adores you.
If you enjoyed the episode, consider sharing it with your friends or leaving a positive review. This helps the podcast get into more ears and hearts around the world.
Sending you so much love, friends! Can’t wait to catch you on next week’s episode.

| Ep 53: Social Media - Making Us Better or Messing Us Up? with Bianca Juarez Olthoff | 11 Nov 2021 | 00:27:18 | |
Family, we are GOING THERE today! Please know that this episode is a labor of love and a passion project. I am not against social media. I love social media! I love the power of people being so connected. There is good coming out of social media.
But I want to ask you some personal questions:
· Do you feel better or worse about your life after your scroll on social media?
· Do you feel better or worse about your body after you scroll on social media?
· Do you feel emotionally full or spiritually empty?
THAT is what I want to discuss social media today! Let’s just pause and evaluate. How IS social media impacting us? The answer is determined by you. Social media can tear you down or lift you up.
No matter how much time you are spending on social media everyday, make sure you leave making the apps better than we found them. But its going to begin when we evaluate HOW we interact, HOW we feel afterwards we’re on them, HOW much time we spend on them, and WHAT are we doing to create the experience we want online.
Friends, I LOVE being able to have real and relevant conversations with those who are part of this community. It would mean the world to me if you subscribed to the show and shared this episode with your friends.
I’ll see you online.
Love you, friends.

| Ep 156: Your Plan For Pain // Leading Through Pain Series with Bianca Juarez Olthoff | 24 Apr 2024 | 00:44:54 | |
Do you have a “game plan for crisis”? Is your goal to finish well in life?
Just as athletes prepare for unexpected challenges, we should also anticipate the potential for crisis in our lives and be ready with strategies. Rest and rehabilitation are two strategies that Jesus used to intentionally take time for rest and healing. This serves as a reminder that rest is not a sign of weakness but a necessary part of our well-being.
I shared a framework with my church team that has helped me build a plan to navigate adversity. It is the acronym CHIME which stands for Connection, Hope, Identity, Meaning, and Empowerment. This intentional approach helps us face challenges head-on.
Friend, I invite you to reflect on your own lives, consider your responses to crises, and intentionally build resilience. Let me know how your plan for pain is coming along by tagging me @biancaolthoff

Build a plan for pain using the CHIME framework: Connection, Hope, Identity, Meaning, and Empowerment.
Quote
If you don't turn your pain into purpose or meaning, it will be a stumbling block that you can't get over.
Takeaways
Having a game plan for crisis is essential for finishing well in life.
It is important to be prepared for potential crises such as loss, death, unemployment, divorce, illness, and more.
Rest and rehabilitation are both necessary for our well-being and growth.
Knowing when to rest and when to seek rehabilitation is crucial for maintaining our physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
Jesus' example shows the importance of taking time for rest and solitude, as well as seeking God's presence and guidance. Take care of yourself and don't rely on others to fix or heal you.
Build a plan for pain using the CHIME framework: Connection, Hope, Identity, Meaning, and Empowerment.
Know who you are and find purpose in your pain.
Rely on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Create a plan for your pain to have handles for healing.

Friends, this bonus episode is on a series that I’ve been teaching at The Father's House Orange County for the last eight weeks and honestly it's changing our church. What's been seared in my mind is that: We are people who are marked for purpose because we have power and authority in Jesus Christ.
I know that not everyone who listens to this podcast is a Christian, but do me a favor, stick around for about 30 minutes because I really want to share this with you
Friends, I hope you enjoy this message. If you want to check out the full teaching series, you can go to TFHOC’s YouTube page and check out all the teachings.

| Ep 48: BONUS Choose To Lead with Bianca Juarez Olthoff | 16 Sep 2021 | 00:25:37 | |
Hey family! I'm popping in this week with a bonus episode. I don't consider myself a "leader", but I've always found myself leading. I wish I would've had a rubric on what leadership entails. I felt that I was battling the voices of my inner saboteur. Have you been there? Have you felt outside of your comfort zone? Have you had imposter syndrome?
We all feel inadequate and have had feelings of imposter syndrome at some point. Maybe you've asked yourself, How do I lead when I don't feel like I'm enough? How do I lead when I feel unqualified?
You might be a natural born leader or you might have been chosen to lead. As we have this conversation, I hope that you choose the invitation and step into the leadership that you have been called to. Because what do you do when leadership chooses you? You choose to lead!
I have created a FREE resource called Choose To Lead. Go to biancaolthoff.com/leadership to download the free PDF. If you do the 15 day leadership guide don't forget to tag me @BiancaOlthoff and share your journey with me.
Can't wait to share more in season four!

| Ep 44: How to Pivot in Life Towards Your Calling with Paula Faris | 02 Sep 2021 | 00:44:26 | |
Hi friends! On today’s show, I’m truly honored to have a discussion with ABC news correspondent and host of The View, Paula Faris. She is in a new season of life, but she walks us through the power of a pivot and what she learned as she walked away from broadcast journalism to honor a new season of life.
Today we talk about pivoting. A pivot is a fundamental change in strategy while staying grounded in your vision and facts. Listen in as Paula and I talk about several pivots in her life and how they led her to her true calling and destiny in life.
Not only does Paula have her own podcast, she has a book walking people through identifying their calling in this season. You can find out about all she is doing by going to PaulaFarisOfficial.com or you can check out all the things on social media and tag @PaulaFaris and @BiancaOlthoff to share what you are applying to your life or what you learned. I know that it's always a gift to guests when they know their words have impacted your life. It’s definitely a gift to me.
Speaking of gifts, as we roll into our one-year birthday next week, it would be a gift to me if you subscribed to this podcast and left a review. Not only does this inform you of when new podcasts are up, but it also helps this show get into the ears of new people.
I can’t wait to celebrate our one-year party next week. Thanks for listening, friend!

| Ep 155: Healing From Trauma // Leading Through Pain Series with Bianca Juarez Olthoff | 23 Apr 2024 | 00:25:19 | |
Do you know how to acknowledge and process trauma effectively? Are you in need of strategies to help you through the process?
You know I love to talk about how my “Bible Boyfriend” Paul The Apostle had grit, resilience and endurance. But what I had never spoken about before was all of the painful trauma that he had also experienced. Despite being beaten, battered, bludgeoned, and abused many times, Paul found the strength in God to lead in the midst of his trauma.
Ignoring or denying the existence of trauma in our lives is risky and can hinder our healing. That is why vulnerability is key to be able to address the trauma that we’re going through. Practice trauma-informed leadership by:
Understanding what trauma is and what it is not
Having honest and vulnerable conversations about pain
Starting the healing process with trusted individuals
Trauma impacts different aspects of our lives and it impacts those around us too. Don’t allow unhealthy coping mechanisms to keep you stuck in the pain. Seek help from professionals and prayerfully go to God for comfort.
Friend, acknowledging and processing trauma is crucial. Ignoring or denying it only prolongs the healing process. Are you finding purpose in your pain? Let me know by tagging me @biancaolthoff
Love you,
B

Assignment
Create a life map: Identify the trauma in your life over the past 10 years.
Quote
The idea of being vulnerable feels terrifying, but we will never heal what we conceal.
Takeaways
Trauma is our response to a painful event, and it can be physical, emotional, spiritual, or mental.
It is important to acknowledge and process trauma rather than ignoring or denying it.
There are three types of trauma: acute, chronic, and complex.
The healing process involves processing the pain with trusted people, prayerfully seeking God's comfort, and finding purpose in the trauma.

| Ep 42: Soul Food for Your Ears with Aarti Sequeira | 19 Aug 2021 | 00:41:24 | |
Hi friends! If you know me, I love to cook. Before there was the Food Network's famed show CHOPPED, my dad taught me how to make a feast with a few random ingredients and a whole lot of love! Food is part of every family in every culture. Today I’m excited to talk to chef and TV personality Aarti Sequeira. She will talk about the powerful relationship of food and the table and friendship and Jesus. But before she became the Food Network Star, we learn about the crazy journey it took to find herself in her small Los Angeles apartment kitchen making recipes for YouTube.
Here is a link to Aarti's very first cooking video: Aarti Paarti Ep. 1: Babaganoush!
I hope this podcast was bread for your soul and babaghanosh for your hope. Warm, delicious, and savory!
If you liked this podcast, do me a favor and tag @AartiPartiPics on Instagram and let her know. Her story is great and I love when we affirm people who are taking risks and sharing the love.
Speaking of which, if you haven’t written a review of the podcast or subscribed on whatever platform you listen to We’re Going There, it would mean the world to me and producer Mari to have you make this part of your routine. Sharing is caring and we love seeing the podcast shared with loved ones.

| Ep 41: Understanding The Holy Spirit - The Gifts For You | 14 Aug 2021 | 00:31:08 | |
Hi friends! Welcome to our final and last episode of our series on Understanding the Holy Spirit. If you have been here all week, I am so proud of you. Honestly, the stuff we're talking about is deep. There are so many Christians and so many people and so many churches that just won't even touch the topic.
And I really believe when we apply these principles to our lives, we can literally grow leaps and bounds. I want to talk about the gifts that we have access to through the Spirit of God. I want to keep it simple and discuss these three categories:
Motivational gifts
Ministry gifts
Manifestation gifts
I want you to operate in the gifts of the Spirit. ask God to reveal his gifts to you.
Friends, it has been my honor, my privilege, and my gift to be able to talk about a topic that a lot of people don't want to talk about. If this series has been a gift to you, share it with your friends and family and let me know when you post on social media by tagging me @BiancaOlthoff
I love you friend!
