In this episode, I share an interview I did for the 30DaySpeaker.com with Pedro Pena. Pedro is the creator of a successful podcast called, My Stuttering Life. He attained his master's degree in industrial-organizational psychology at the University of Houston Clearlake. He began to stutter after a traumatic dog attack at the age of 5. After 20 years of speech therapy, Pedro has embraced his stutter and no longer lets fear dictate every facet of his life. Fear is a powerful emotion. For 35 years of Pedro’s life- it controlled everything. Pedro first enrolled in a pre-law major but switched to psychology due to the fear of his stutter. He was isolated from his peers growing up because no one wanted to be around the guy that stuttered. He feared being in social environments and avoided public speaking. Growing up, he suffered from low self-esteem and was often brought down by others. People told him that he wasn’t capable of accomplishing anything in life. This pushed Pedro into a very dark place in his life. He decided that he wanted to end his misery by taking his life. One night, he grabbed his dad’s gun and walked out of the house. As he was walking down the road, he passed by a homeless man. The man approached Pedro and asked him what he was doing. And so, he told him about his struggles with his stutter. The homeless man explained to Pedro that he was on the earth for a purpose. He needed to find that purpose. At that moment, the darkness went away. That homeless man saved Pedro’s life. | Episode 73: Is Getting A Coach Online Really Worth It 🤔 | 31 Aug 2021 | 00:06:22
Is Getting A Coach Online Really Worth It? 🤔 Over the course of a year, I’ve found the benefits of online coaching. I’ve been able to coach people all over the world…From Canada, the UK, and the USA. Coaching and guiding different individuals on leadership, sales, business and public speaking. But the most valuable part…We are able to connect and learn from each other during the online experience. Be stubborn about your goals, but flexible about your methods. Achieving certain goals is difficult to do on your own. That is why finding a mentor is key. & As times change, your approach may need to change. I find that because of covid…a lot of people had to switch from in-person to virtual. I find that the biggest challenge when people have goals to overcome something…is that they have to go to a certain location. But now as time evolves, so will your methods. For example, a lot of people have trainers online and workout with them virtually. Your approach or the path may swerve or move in a method that you didn’t anticipate when you started & It’s ok to adjust…That doesn’t mean the end-game or the goal changes. Just the path. By getting an online coach, it takes the pressure off your back. Because it only takes a few clicks to gain all the value…It makes your life much easier…And you will seize faster results. | Episode 72 - What would your life look like if you didn’t live in fear? | 26 Aug 2021 | 00:16:14
What would your life look like if you didn’t live in fear? In this episode, I discuss the notion of fear and my own past experiences, how I overcame my fears and built a life of abundance and happiness. In my opinion, especially with the pandemic going on, and when this all started back in March 2020…what I see right now is a lot of people are constantly in fear of what could go wrong…there’s so much division. Our pandemic response has generated fear and harm to our most valuable asset - our minds. If you want to get sick, be someone who’s stressed all the time, be someone who’s living in fear. Living in fear does not lead to a happy life. If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought… that is why I am all about improving my life, more specifically improving the stats of my life. Therefore, in this episode, I want to break down the notion of fear and hopefully give you some inspiration and motivation. Grab a notebook and a pen & enjoy the show! | Episode 71 - Why I don’t charge hourly for my coaching program 💵 | 24 Aug 2021 | 00:06:56
When I started to develop my company, I asked myself this question: “𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁?” After analyzing this question…I came to a conclusion the only way I deserve a client is by helping them achieve a certain result. This could be speaking with confidence, master public speaking, overcome stuttering, or making more money with their business/job. Because if I’m not able to ensure results then I’m not a good fit for them. On the other hand, if I’m able to make my client hit their targets then it makes total sense. Which is why I don’t charge hourly. Because too many professionals, coaches, trainers, therapists etc… only focus on how many hours a client will pay. Therefore, only focusing on time - rather than a result. Again, the goal of coaching should be on results - not hours. If I can’t help someone achieve a goal then it logically doesn’t make sense to work together. Hit me up on Instagram: @CEODanielFrancis

| Episode 69 - Mastering Your Mindset: Interview with Armin Shafee | 17 Aug 2021 | 00:33:33 | |
In this episode, I share an interview I did for the 30 Day Speaker with Armin Shafee. Armin is an Award-Winning International Speaker & entrepreneur. You will learn how Armin masters his mindset. Mindset is everything. Your thought process, belief system, and your view on things. We are all born with a clean slate. Over time we develop tendencies and habits based on our environment around us. The faster we realize this, the faster we can mold our minds around what we want. Your desire will mold your mindset. Armin’s desire to become a better public speaker helped mold his mindset. This is the same for famous athletes, successful CEOS, etc. Armin talks about his life experiences, such as being labeled as ADHD as a kid in a dysfunctional environment. These experiences shaped his decisions on how to confront his problems and not to run from them, which molded his mindset. This all came from his desire to help people. If you want to know how Armin removes fear from his mindset, then this episode is for you! Enjoy. Hit me up on Instagram: @CEODanielFrancis
