Hunter Farrior and Austin Sills sit down for the first time in over two weeks, after Hunter tests positive for COVID-19 and spends the holidays in quarantine. The two co-hosts catch up on what they have been up to and look forward to everything that is in the works for 2021.  

In this episode:  

• Hunter turns his two-week quarantine into an opportunity by writing a book to recognize the unique mindset and obsession found within turkey hunters.  
• Sills goes quail hunting with  Muscadine Bloodline and the Primos crew.  
• The two release which new products are in the works for the new year.  
• The differences in hunting turkeys in different regions of the country.

As for the new book "Ballad of a Turkey Hunter" written in quarantine:  

• We will be announcing its official release date on social media platforms, expected to be available around mid-January.  
• Written in the unique mindset of a turkey hunter, describing what separates the turkey hunting community apart from all other realms in the outdoors.  
• Several hunting tips, woodsmanship rules-of-thumb, a few memorable stories and bizarre situations that Hunter has found himself in over the years, and his personal view on what separates a "turkey hunter" from "deer hunters that also hunt turkeys in the springtime".

Sills returns from Florida and joins Hunter Farrior to review a little research that he had found on wild turkey hatch numbers in the state of Mississippi, and compares them with the past few hatches. Hunter discusses what he does this time of year to prepare for next spring's turkey season.

Hunter Farrior explains his theory of there being two primary types of turkey hunters, their correlating styles of calling , repositioning, and setup tactics, and how to determine which type of hunter you might be. 

He elaborates on which type he is, and how he uses that to hunt turkeys in Mississippi.

In the second and final introductory episode with those that have helped Spring Legion become what it is known to be today, Chase Farrior sits down with older brother, Hunter Farrior,  to give his take on building the brand and reflect on the two brothers turkey hunting together.

• The two describe how, even though they are brothers, they differ vastly when approaching gobbling turkeys in the spring woods.
