Episode 51

mercredi 24 novembre 2021Duration

This episode strikes me deep in the soul. Featuring special guest, Artist, dog lover and dog life advocate Lise Ellingsen. We discuss the current state of Norway’s dog laws and the actions that are in progress to change them for the better. Micromanaging your dog throughout the day is not only completely natural but absolutely necessary for your dogs understanding of structure. Implementing these practices can provide you with moments of relief throughout your already hectic day, as well as, help settle any anxiety your dog may have. The consistency of the day will help you to find more time to do the things you want or ‘have to do’ such as work, schooling, or recreational activities with the family. Country Music Artist Allison Asarch

Episode 49

mercredi 17 novembre 2021Duration

This episode I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with, up and coming Country Music Artist Allison Asarch. Growing up in Houston, Texas, Allison discovered her love for music at a young age. As a child, she would perform at her grandparents’ annual Christmas talent show, but it wasn’t until she reached 4th grade that she knew she wanted to make a career out it. In 2018, Allison moved to Nashville, Tennessee to start chasing her dreams. When the Coronavirus pandemic hit in early 2020, she seized the opportunity to start recording and releasing her own music. In September 2020, she released her first single called Taylor Made. That same month, she appeared on the Netflix Original show “Sing On!” where she took first place and won over $42,000. She followed up with her second single, The One, in November and released Sippin’ on Somethin’ in February of 2021. Her latest singles, Summer Style, Cotton Dress and Neon Nobody are now available on all streaming platforms. Be sure to look out for her NEW SINGLE, this Friday, November 19th, 2021, called, ‘Want Me Like You Want To’ you can find Allison Asarch @: https://allisonasarch.com/home https://www.facebook.com/allisonasarchofficial https://www.instagram.com/allisonasarchofficial/

Through the Eyes of a Canine, the book

Episode 48

jeudi 11 novembre 2021Duration

The human-canine story is the greatest love story that has ever existed. But too often we look at things only from our own perspective and impose unrealistic expectations on our canine companions. In Through the Eyes of a Canine, animal behavior specialist David J Kurlander takes us on a journey through history, science, biology, animal behavior, quantum theory, and personal development to illustrate exactly how we can shift our way of seeing things and learn to perceive the world as they do. Based on decades of work with more than 150,000 dogs and years observing wild canines, Kurlander offers real-world examples, practical suggestions, and exercises you can implement immediately. As you open your mind to this new way of relating to your furry family member, you will begin to recognize how developing a relationship of reciprocity and mutuality with the dogs in your life can create a harmonious pack, and even change the world. This return episode introduces my new book, Through the Eyes of a Canine, and is why I have been so preoccupied for so many months. My focus was un-waivered to provide you, the reader, with the best of my research and experience. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed writing it. Bringing Home Baby

Episode 47

vendredi 15 janvier 2021Duration

Bringing home a new human addition to the pack can be very exciting and scary all at the same time. Especially if you have a dog in your pack that is a little resistant to newcomers, has a very high predatory inclination, or has a wildly hyper and intrusive yet friendly personality. In this episode, we discuss a few ways to ease this transition with new expectations and routines.
